Told had high interocular pressure and needed distance glasses as well. Consultant informed me that I have normal eye pressure and do not need glasses for distance! Emergency hospital appointment for nothing. Understandably very let down by yourselves. Poor quality service.

The male optician who supported me on the Sunday morning was excellent. The best optician I have seen. I felt slightly pushed towards normal frames when I had already stated I wanted sunglasses. I wanted sunglasses for for the exact purpose of driving. I find it annoying when I ask for a product "sunglasses" and I get asked "have you considered xyz". I'm sure what I want and its just irritating. That aside the shopfloor staff where excellent and friendly and are great every time I go in. Would use again!

Regarding my visit to your Sunderland Bridges Store on 7th February for reasons too upsetting to relate that happened between the person who pushed my pushchair and the store manager I now have two useless pairs of glasses and I will have to find another opticians after decades of happy service at your South Shields Store ( I do not know the managers name as he never said what it was, he was too busy telling my companion,who was in the wrong as well ,thatHe the manager had 36yrs experience , he was the expert and Mr Dodsworth knew nothing ) eventually after a long time in distress and tears I was pushed out of the shop I will never go to Vision Express again, . What a shame, after years of happy buying off Vision Express

I ve been a costumer for 10 years , At the Liverpool city centre branch and always have a good service. Just went back after 3 years , and still happy . Vision Express had taken over my old Opticians and the service is definitely budget, whilst prices are not. I visited to ask about getting an arm on my Silhouette glasses fixed. I was told that this was not possible and was offered a single Silhouette frame they claimed they had left over. They offered me this at a price of over £300. Needing glasses and following my eye test, (I am Type 1 diabetic), I bought the cheapest glasses they had at £78 and these are fine. I've since learned that my Silhouette glasses could have been repaired, although the shop claimed to have no records of my purchase, which was some time ago. It appears that all old records from Robinsons Opticians have been lost. Because my particular glasses were unidentified, Vision Express were unable to replace the arm. They then offered me again the one item they had in stock, giving me a price substantially higher than the one I was first quoted and then offering a 'discount'. I have since learned that a simple repair would have cost me significantly less than £100. From the outset, the staff demonstrated a complete lack of awareness of my product. I will be seeking another optician.

For several years now I've simply had an eye test wherever offered them free at the time, and ordered my glasses online. This seemed to be a lot cheaper but I was never truly happy with the overall service and finished product. They did the job, but it wasn't great. This time I decided to get the test and frames from Vision Express, and it was a much better experience. I'm happy with the fit, and the clarity of the lenses after having had them made specifically for my pupil height and distance is superb.

I purchased a very expensive pair of glasses, nearly £400. Wrong prescription made within the lab which caused me chronic headache so returned them. Customer service was terrible, no aftercare for fitting my glasses. Ordered contact lenses too....trial same shocking service. So all in all 0/10. I have gone back to Asda, two pairs of glasses for £150 (verifocal)! So how can Vision express justify the price??? Anyway I wasn't impressed with my whole experience!!!!

Vision Express Harborne gave excellent after-sales service when I found that the new lenses that they had fitted to my existing frames popped out. Ben, the manager, arranged for new lenses to be profiled and fitted to match the frames exactly.

I explained that I have a medical condition that makes me noise sensitive & impairs my hearing. The member of staff I dealt with then made a point of slowing her speech & faced me directly to help me understand what she was saying. I was treated as an individual & not hurried through the process (as I've felt in the past with other companies). I was impressed with the quality of frames & the reasonable prices. Wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Visited the Stamford branch for the first time. Waited around before being seen to, which i found a little unhelpful considering when you book an appointment it asks for you arrive 10 minutes prior? had my eye test, which went well until i decided that i had made an expensive decision with my glasses. I went into the branch and asked for a refund in which a young lady was very rude to me. She confirmed that she would refund me this time only? considering the glasses order had not been sent to the lab ? and confirmed no further refunds would be given. Very very rude in which i will not be recommending this branch to anyone and has now lost my custom for the future. CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! where is it. May i also add the refund dud not go back to my account straight away either, as this was what was confirmed in store

Didn’t sent off to be developed! When I contacted them they said they were waiting for me to call in and select final options. I had to remind them that I had been in and updated my order 10 days ago! They apologised but it didn’t get better! They made and excuse that the lab couldn’t do alterations for some reason! But WHY didn’t they contact me and explain instead of waiting for me to call two weeks later! It’s now over a month since and still waiting one pair turned up other hasn’t! It’s a 60 mile round trip for us and so far we have travelled over hundred miles and still without glasses!
