Some advice from someone who's been through it, never take what Vodafone say to you as truth assume there lying till proven other wise. Even if it's there mistake they will try to turn it around and put it on you. No customer satisfaction or quality wouldnt recommend Vodafone to my worst enemies, completely incompetent

Awful! Keep charging you after you have left no matter how many times you complain! The speed of my broadband was never as good as with my previous supplier so when I moved house and they gave me the option to leave during the contract (they couldn't provide the same service at the new address) I was really pleased. I called mid-March and they confirmed the cancellation date for 10th April. 16th April I get charged another £24! I contact them via chat, they apologise and say that I will have to wait 4-6 weeks for a refund...but my account is definitely closed. Then I get a text to say they will be charging my ANOTHER £24 on 16th May!!! I contact them again via chat, again they apologise and say that it is definitely closed and they will process the refund Now it's June and......I've had yet another message to say they are going to charge £24!!! What am I supposed to do to get them to stop billing me!!!!!!!! Don't go with this company as they will keep charging you after you've left!!! Absolutely awful!!!!

I would be very warey of this company. Having put a bar on premium rates and I believe calls aboard and then still getting charged. To my amazement had to do it again. Even though I confirm it. Make sure u keep this. Got a cap on. Keeping this. Stopping direct debits. Next time if this happens. It will have to go court. Scared of texting and ringing. Lack of trust.

They have a friendly customer service. I know it's not a bad thing. Bad thing is that being with Vodafone only 3 months I've already had to contact them several times. That's how I know they're nice. There's always something wrong with the broadband. After 2 years with Sky I switched to Vodafone as Sky was getting pricey. Seems like I got what I paid for, cheap service for lowerw price. Broadband speed drops just like that. It went dead one day, contacted Vodafone, they said they'd send an engineer within 72 hours. Got fixed, speed is dropping again, no idea if it's the line or the router, however with Sky I had the same line and worked fine for 2 years. Not recommended. Go anywhere but Vodafone, seriously. I used TalkTalk before Sky and still a better service than Vodafone.

Customer service is atrocious. I moved my broadband account to BT on 10th April. Fortunately, I stopped the direct debits, because Vodafone would have kept taking money from me; I have received emails and two letters saying payment on my account is overdue. The last letter, received 6th June, threatens me with debt collection agents. This, despite the fact that I have contacted Vodafone customer services more than once about the matter. Live chat took ages, because I was being passed from one customer service department to another. Telephone is no better. I have an email saying that it will take 30 days for the company to get itself sorted out so that I don't receive any more communications. I am so glad I changed my account, and once this is resolved, I will never go near Vodafone again.

Absolutely useless. Got my new shiny phone and rather excited. Put sim card in and all worked brilliantly. Waited for number to be ported. Once number ported all of a sudden don't even get 3G. Call customer service / technical team / complaints team numerous times who put me through a couple of fixes, only to find that when reception does work (its very intermittent mainly on E) ie not even 3G for a 4G contract. In addition someone at vadafone has changed my data setting so it cannot be used meaning that even when it is 3G or 4G I cannot use any app that uses data. Everything is very very complex when you talk to someone at the firm and takes numerous days to resolve. Im into day 10 of my new phone and will most probably cancel as I feel I am back on the early 2000's. Don't change to Vodafone and make the mistake I made!

This is one of the worst company I have ever deal with. You need to be very suspicious about anything they will said. Moreover, they have one of the worst coverage ever. They also have one of the worst customer service I’ve seen.

A company with highly questionable work ethics and unlawful behaviour. Should shut down and go to Court.

I strongly do not recommend anyone to become involved with vodafone. Me and my mother have had a joint contract for 10 years. When I left home we went into our local shop to discuss taking out separate contracts. In the shop this is what we discussed. I believe I was massively mislead, I left that shop with no SIM card. NO SIMCARD it was not given to me. But they did have my bank details. They then activated that account, without me knowing, without me having the actually SIM card. They did not send it in the post, they did not call me to inform me it was there. They then charged me. I received again no letters, no emails regarding any payments. I then suddenly get a email THAT AFTER MISSING TWO PAYMENTS (£40) IT HAS BEEN HANDED OVER TO A DEBT COLLECTORS. I called Vodafone, they firstly told me not to worry there is no contract in my name or to my address, she then checked again and told me that the SIM card had been activated and I could not cancel the contract because it was over the 30 day cooling off period. Dispite he store not contacting me in those 30 days. Bare in mind, I’m already in a contract with my mother, so Vodafone where charging me two contracts. It was £140 to leave that contract or to go into the shop and collect the SIM card. Why didn’t they inform me of this earlier? Why did I receive no formal letter regarding miss payments I was unware of. I have never missed a payment in my life. Why did I not get informed I was being handed over to a debt collectors? I WAS COMPLETELY UNAWARE And why couldn’t they just deactivate this unused account. Granted, one of the ladies I spoke to was very helpful and ensured me that she was to contact the debt collectors and ensure it does not go on my credit file. However I am still waiting to here back from the/ I asked for it in writing. I am so unsatisfied with how deceitful Vodafone are. If I had the money to leave the contract I would and I would never take a contract out with them again nor do I recommend anyone else doing so. Also just to add. I answered the feed back text messages regarding a gentlemen I spoke to prior to the lady. I scored his customer service 10, but scored a 1 with would I recommend to a friend ( as why would I) he then left me a very rude abrupt voice mail while I was at work asking me why I was so dissatisfied when he had explained everything to me and that he wants to know why. Absolutely disgraceful

I am very disappointed with the customer services and commitments of vodafone. Initially they have committed to give me a selected number on a condition if I take 12 month contract. after signing up the golden number team who have Zero communication skills have said we don't offer you the number however the number is available. I am taking this case to Ombudsman and cancelling the contract coz they have waste my time and energy. I am very disappointed and very unhappy customer. Suhaib 07771589635

I signed up to a new contract with Vodafone in their Plymouth shop on Saturday, for a SIM card, having been with EE for many years and because I was attracted to the deal I signed up for. I gave the PAC No and was assured the switchover would take place on Tuesday. Today is Wednesday and it did not happen at 12.20pm. My wife was in town and made enquiries. She was told they could not speak to her, so she called me from the shop and I spoke, on her mobile, to the Vodafone man. He told me I was given wrong information and that the switchover would take place today. I asked him to give me the shop’s telephone no, but he refused. I asked him if they were a telephone company?! A bit rich, I would say! He handed back the mobile to my wife and she is now completely covered in aftershave smell! A good start! Having read some of the comments and remembering a recent survey, I am on the cusp of cancelling before it’s too late. I read the contract I signed and, nowhere, does it mention the PAC card, switchover, or my old mobile number. I also keep receiving texts and mail to tell me I need to collect the SIM card, when it was given to me four days ago! Shambles!!!

I have been with Vodafone since 2016 I have 2 mobile contracts and recently added 2 more broadband contracts and 2 landlines (one of which is for my elderly parents who depend on the landline phone and broadband). Both my broadband have gone down more than 5 times since I signed up with them, each one taking more than 3 days until they got it up again. And this is after chasing them up daily. Finally they fixed them and credited my account with £30. Since then one of them has gone down again. they have also failed to reinstate the same landline number for my parents as agreed its been more than a month and still waiting for them to reinstate the same number! After this i got a call on the 22nd of May from them telling me i'm a high value customer and they have some great offers for me, they offered me an early upgrade with a much better deal than what I had so i took it and added an iPad contract too. Me thinking i'm receiving new phones and an iPad I gave away my phones and iPad I had to family and friends. The next day I got the phones and iPad but then realised they one, charged me almost £100 which wasn't mentioned in the call and secondly, it wasn't an upgrade they added 2 more mobile contracts to the existing contracts I already had. So I returned them to my local Vodafone store, but now i'm left with no phones and no iPad. I demanded that they listen to the call and was told an investigation will be opened and scheduled me for a call on Sunday the 26th May for the outcome, of course no one called on the 26th, so again I had to chase it after a day of going back and forth with them, they finally admitted that they didn't actually start the "investigation" but someone from customer relations will call me to give me a decision. Today i got the call after they apologised all they could do is offer to credit my account with £70. They refuse to fulfil the offer they offered me as my renewel date is in November and refused to cancel my existing contracts even though they admitted to the wrong doing and as a result i'v lost both my Samsung 8's and an iPad I bought in 2017! They breached they're contract with me and I can not do anything about it! Well done Vodafone.

Vodafone is by far the WORST telecommunications firm in this field. They have the APPALLING, CUMBERSOME, COMPLEX processes in place to ensure that they put customers off from getting in touch with them about concerns. Customers are constantly given the runaround when you call them - passed from one department to another because they’re unable to decide which department to fob you off to. I closed my account in 2014. At least that’s what I thought when a member of their team told me that my account was closed. However, yesterday 24.05.19 I received a letter from their debt collection company to chase me for £283 that I know I didn’t owe them. I had thrown all Vodafone documents away so hadn’t any proof that they had closed my account. So after spending hours on the phone to them - telling them that I had closed my account and that I owed them nothing - plus the fact that I had closed my account to move out of the UK for work - THEY STILL REFUSED TO LISTEN. TO MAKE THINGS WORSE - THEY THREATENED TO LEAVE THIS ACCUSATION ON MY CREDIT HISTORY SO I WAS FORCED TO PAY. IT IS A HORRIFIC REALITY TO REALISE THAT VODAFONE HAVE FOUND A WAY TO CON THOSE CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE CLOSED THEIR ACCOUNT BY FOOLING THEM YEARS LATER INTO PAYING THEM BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT THESE CUSTOMERS WILL HAVE NO RECOLLECTION OF WHAT TOOK PLACE YEARS AGO AND CERTAINLY WILL NOT HAVE ANY PROOF OF THE ACCOUNT CLOSURE. THIS IS FRAUD - ASKING CUSTOMERS FOR PAYMENT SEVERAL YEARS LATER - KNOWING FULL WELL THAT THE CUSTOMER WILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT. VODAFONE ARE SCAMMERS, CON ARTISTS AND THE MOST DISHONEST ORGANISATION I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF HANDING MY HARD EARNED MONEY TO. Their customer call centres are full of incompetent people who speak over you, do not listen and put the phone down on you when they are unable to cope with the situation that you are calling them about. Their call centres are hopeless - “computer says no” focused, unhelpful, unsupportive and rude. Thank goodness for Sky and other telecommunications companies with far superior offering. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH VODAFONE. THEY WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE HELL AND PROBABLY CON YOU INTO PAYING FOR MISSED PAYMENT - WHEN THE REALITY IS - YOU OWE THEM NOTHING.

Challenge for my nervous system Horrible company with horrible customer service. I have explained my situation 4 times to 4 different people losing 2 hours on the phone and working hard to control myself during these conversations because it was hard :D Dealing with low intelligent beings, again and again, humans acting like robots. My experience with vodafone was a challenge for my nervous system. Thanks

I made the biggest mistake of my life last October when I moved from o2 to Vodafone because I was getting a better deal at Vodafone, well I may have got a better deal but with it came terrible customer service - apps that took 6 months to get working on my account and countless phone calls and being told it was being escalated up and it would be fixed between 5 - 6 working day, once the contracts over in October next year I am definitely moving back to o2.

Made a call today regarding my contract. Spoke to a man names omer and he was very helpful. Was on the phone for about an hour and 15 mins which he apologized for a number of times but it was not a problem. He assured me that being a valued customer means a lot and gave me the best help with my query. Very pleased and would like to thank him and yourselves for the great service
