Presently at Lakeside. Our woodland lodge is lovely but cannot say the same for the rest of the facilities The pool and gym is closed Monday and Friday and only open 9am to 4pm midweek so no opportunity for pre dinner swim. Not as advertised on web site. The restaurant service is poor and lots ot items are not available due to no food being ordered as menu is to change next week. Staff shortages adding to the problems. Worst Warner holiday ever. Daily activities are all sport based, cinema closed, very few other things to do. So disappointed.

Worst break in the ten years of going to Warner's. Lack of staff, luke-warm, under cooked food, no alternative entertainment to the main show, no tea available after 10pm...we don't all drink alcohol! Told on numerous occasions 'table-service' only...but no-one came to take orders! Only one bar open after 9.40 on Sunday evening (19/06/22) Some of the things we experienced, were like an episode of Fawlty Towers! We even had a rat outside our garden Room! (Basil!) Am hoping Cricket St. Thomas is not a sign of things to come!

Hi just back from a long weekend at Cricket St Thomas 17th June to 20th of June and had a great time the grounds are stunning , the room was great we had a patio room 477, the housekeepers did a very good job. It would be good to add bar staff during the day in the main hotel , Maxine the bar laddy worked her boots off to satisfy all in the queue what a credit to your company, all staff are polite and professional nothing was to much trouble for them to make your stay the best it can be. Well done Warner's

We have enjoyed a 4 night stay at Bodelwyddan and found the accommodation and food excellent. Having missed our evening meal on the 6 June due to a long slow journey we were pleased to receive a salad brought to our room -a much appreciated gesture The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and a credit to the maintenance staff. Thank you

Just had a lovely weekend at Bodelwyddan Castle, all of the staff were really friendly and very helpful especially in the restaurant and also Dave who worked in the Atrium. The highlight of the weekend was the James Williams Showband on the Saturday evening, it was spectacular. James had so much energy and his voice was amazing. Can't wait to go again.

I take a Warner's holiday at least twice a year but I would think twice after my recent experiences. I stayed at Studley Hall and had a very pleasant weekend there. On my return I tried to pay the balance for an upcoming holiday with friends. Getting through on the phone is a challenge in its self. I eventually had to make do with an on line live chat where I was given the wrong information. I was told that each of my friends had to phone to use the money they had in a hols account. They were told this wasn't the case. After another on line live chat I was told I had to make the call. Half a dozen futile phone calls and I decided to email. This I did followed by a reminder a week later. Still no reply or acknowledgement. Their admin is appalling. Is it too much to expect a reply from them. I'm sure they will be in touch when the balance is due, but this just isn't good enough. I am frustrated beyond belief. I do wonder if they read any of these reviews because they on't appear to reply to any.

Our stay at Bodelwyddan. Breakfast was good but we didn't think that the dinner choices and quality were up to the same standard as previous visits when we had rated Bodelwyddan as the best for food. Although our main waiter was efficient, others were not, resulting in me having to clear plates from our table when he wasn't on duty. There seemed to be a shortage of trained staff. There was a comedian appearing on the last evening in the Mulberry lounge and our party had to stand throughout his hour and a half performance because there was insufficient seating. Not impressed. Hope things have improved if we visit again.

weekend break at cricket st Thomas , apart from the carpet in our signature room looking a bit tired, the whole experience was great , lovely garden walks, food was very good with reasonable choice, evening entertainment was fun, facilities brilliant.

Warner Leisure Hotels are a disgrace .We booked two , hotels for March and May. The March holiday was fine, but 8 days before the May 20 holiday, I suffered a heart attack and went into hospital and had to have a Pacemaker fitted, (a painful three hour operation). After returning home I telephoned Warners to say that I would not be able to come on friday, and could I transfer to a later date. I was told that my holiday would be cancelled, and I would lose my money. Warners do not know the meaning of COMPASSION,as this has happened to other guests. Every body that I have spoken to says this is a disgrace, and will not book holidays with them in the future

Paid £1066 for 2 sea view with patios, unable to stay in accommodation due to builders renovating next room & using patios. Noise & fumes pervading all day. When offered alternatives only to find painters working in one of the rooms. Ended up on 2nd floor at the back. Only offered recompense for loss of sea view & patio. Lost 2days holiday & alot of distress. Warners refusing any other compensation of any kind & stating they have the 'right' to carry out building works directly affecting guests without notifying them. Health & Safety legislation was also completely ignored!

Went to alvaston hall in April, first time visit. Had a great few days away. Meals are first class, staff are excellent, the entertainment team work really hard to keep you entertained all day with shows , quizzes, something going on all day. Damien and lindsay were fantastic from the entertainment team. Big pat on the back to all the staff from the chef's to the restaurant staff and gardener's, to the management team for making this an enjoyable first stay.

Terrible customer service, would never use this group. Refused to move a four day break in two weeks time for my Mom and Dad when Mom was diagnosed with cancer the day before, how totally heartless. Ignored subsequent emails. Take your hard earned money somewhere else 😔

Booked a trip to Cricket St Thomas for 4 to celebrate my sister’s surprise birthday and as you cannot book 4 people in a room we had to book 2 rooms - unfortunately I was tested positive for COVID the day before and therefore couldn’t travel and now being told thst I can only move one room to a later date but the other room has to be used or we lose over £600 ! One of the so called customer care department had no sympathy about what was going in and no help whatsoever and explain how can you gave one room moved but not the other ! I also spoke to 3 others 2in reservations and another in customer care who were helpful to see what can be done but the the original person came back k and was adamant that these were the rules and told me to look in the website and told her that I have and cannot find anything about changes for a COVID on more than one room on one booking . I cannot tell how distress and upsetting this had been of what was suppose to be a happy occasion - a company I will never want to book or recommend to anyone. It feels I am being punished for something out of my control .
