Wish I'd seen this site before ordering my kitchen! What a terrible experience The whole process has been very stressful for 2 months! Dealing with the staff-sales agent in Folkestone was a very unpleasant experience from the Store manager to the sales representatives. Where is the attention to detail and customer service? Horrible treatment, bad communication. They never put themselves on the customer shoe, unacceptable. I will be happy to share my disappointment with a higher manager than the store manager. Feel free to contact me I will defiantly not be recommending Wickes to anyone-what a fiasco

What an awful customer service, very poor communication and lack of understanding. Do not use this company. The kitchen staff-sales in Folkestone needs proper customer service training. Our dream kitchen become our nightmare. After so many calls, e-mails and wrong deliveries finally our kitchen was finalized and completed in August. This is the worse experience we have ever had with any company. Over two months dealing with such an incompetent staff.

Awful customer service, bad communication, rude conduct. Do not use this company. We have received appalling customer service from Wickes over the last four months. This includes verbal abuse, lack of communication (sometimes non existent) and extremely poor customer relations. The poor customer service spans over four months and is still ongoing, Wickes have taken very little responsibility for these issues and we’ve felt fobbed off each time. Our very small bathroom which we were told would be completed within 10-12 days is still not near completion on day 17. We have made a formal complaint to Wickes and received no response. We have contacted a legal ombudsman that Wickes have refused to mediate with. The next step is legal action. This is the worse experience we have ever had with any company. Steer clear from any dealings with this company as it is not worth the stress and upset.

Designer didn't turn up for home visit and didn't bother to call (they said they did but had no missed calls and had phone with me all the time). When I called to find out where he was I was told he was with another customer. I asked to talk to him and when he came to the phone he was extremely rude. Wickes' loss: I will now be taking my business elsewhere.

The laminate flooring I purchased from Wickes creaked + squeaked badly after a couple of months following installation by a professional flooring specialist. Wickes tried to absolve themselves as a flooring inspector concluded that my floor was uneven. Why then did the previous laminate flooring in my flat never creak for over 12 years? They send 'impartial' flooring inspectors who give the answer the seller/manufacturer wants to hear (i.e. the client is at fault). Having responded to my review on their website (misleadingly blaming my floor when it was their faulty product) there was no option for me to answer back. Btw, if I was in the wrong, why was I awarded a full refund plus damages??? I will never buy from them again.

I have ordered and paid for a ladder. My account states it has been delivered. It most certainlyhas not been to my address and has yet to appear two dates after the due delivery date. I have been onto customer services. My ladder has been delivered to a virtual store 8076!!! Call backs? Promises, like the ladder, not yet delivered.

Bought own brand emulsion that was like water and own brand gloss that gave my door a tree bark effect. Wicks must be trying to loose customers to homebase

Went to wicks with my daughter to buy some paint for my daughter bedroom they have tester pots but none in the big tubs on the shelf ask at the desk and no one wanted to help waste of time never use this shop again

Poor customers services. Purchased a hose reel and found parts missing,contacted customers services on the 05/06/16,I had no contact till the 08/06/16 asking to supply details of missing parts.I replied with full details same day. No contact from customers services so contacted customers relations on the 10/06/16 they replied saying they would get it sorted. Still no contact from wicks so email customers relations again,received reply 14/06/16 saying they had sent all details to the manager at customers services to receive a speedy reply. This is not what you expect from a large company

Dreadful customer service. Booked a day off work for home delivery of sand bricks etc. Didnt turn up told all drivers off sick when I rung up at 1700 to find out where it was! Nice of them to tell me! Do not use this discrace of a firm under any circumstances!!

ordered railings for next day delivery, waited in all day. Finally got a reply saying DX had tried to deliver and had left a card. I stayed in all day, there was no card. All lies from DX. Experienced that from DX before. Rubbish firm

Don't know what the item was like as it never turned up scheduled delivery twice in the end I gave up will never use again .

after waiting all day for a delivery i received a phone call from the store reporting the delivery was cancelled because there small van which was sent to another store to collect my items, had no space on it to actually collect my items. anyone would think before you go to collect 25 sheets of 8 x 4 that you would check to see if the van was empty

Not much customer service in evidence when we asked for help in store today. Also, my son tried to collect an order at a different Wickes, but they refused him because he did not have the card on him that he had paid with. He had a print out of the order confirmation AND proof on his mobile phone, and explained another branch had NOT asked for the card when he collected something the day before. All to no avail, so guess he will have to return tomorrow. Surely a little common sense could have come into play ? Obviously not. Very poor service.

What horrible customer service!!! I will be one of hundreds to leave a horrible review about Wickes and it's customer service! Made an order online as product was available to collect in store and had already requested to take the day off on Tuesday to pick up from Blackheath store but at 7PM the next day was called by a unprofessional kid with no customer service skills at all saying the closest store I could pick up the product was Chatham over 30 miles away!!! Or to order again for home delivery £25 for a £30 product. What a joke!

They failed to deliver 5 days in a row, claiming the items were lost between themselves and their carrier DX. I eventually cancelled as they just didn't have a clue what to do. Their call centre appears to be staffed by people with very poor diction, although they are quite well intentioned.

Had problem with my bathroom cabinet as the gloss coating on front has bubbled and come away from edges, phoned local Colchester branch, left hanging for 20 mins then phoned back and told to ring customer after care. Contacted aftercare and promised they would phone manufacturer and get straight back, never did so phoned again couldn't get same guy so this other guy promised same thing never got back, chased him several times with no response, Now fed up as a simple yes or no they can or can't help me would have done. This went on all week when I asked to speak to a manager all were in meetings, of coarse they were! Couldn't get the last guy I spoke to so this new guy Arron said he would ring manufacturers and get straight back, to give him his due, he did with the fact they couldn't help me as out of guarantee, apparently the kitchens have 10year and the bathroom cabinets only two, although made by same company in same factory using same materials, why could they not have been honest in the first place? Nothing but a big old runaround. I will never use this company again, their loss!!

Unprofessional, error strewn and shabby service. Delivery of garden item did not occur as planned nor on a second promised date. Order cancelled but they can't confirm ehen i'll be refuned - so not only a shambles in customer service they are holding onto my cash!! Recommend you steer clear of wickes unless you like being treated like this
