I went in to Wicks Tottenham yesterday Saturday 6th June 2020 to pick-up some aerial ends. So there was a man and woman serving at the tool service section who were rude and totally unhelpful! I just wanted 2 aerial ends and you would have thought that I had asked for the world! They rolled their eyes and became awkward and rude, telling me that they didn't want to get me what I asked for because they didn't want to pull things out and create queues! I only wanted 2 male ends of an aerial cable and even bought one in with me to show them! I told them not to bother as I wouldn't want them to actually serve me, and walked out! Wicks needs to sort their staff out and definately teach the morons how to talk to customers! I won't go in there again and will buy my bathroom and flooring from B&Q

Ordered a number of items including fence paint mid April for mid-May delivery. Paint never arrived. Delivery driver advise to 'ring up' as the paint was 'out of stock'. Customer Services constantly engaged or waiting time circa 2hours. Finally got through to a representative who advised she would e-mail the stores and someone would telephone within five hours. Nobody called. Refund received for one out of two items. Refund for second still awaited. Very poor customer services. Avoid at all costs.

Twice now i have placed orders to be delivered and twice after waiting a month wickes have phoned the day before to say they didnt have my order in stock and were cancelling my order. Why didnt they at the time of orderinng tell me they didnt have it? Will I be using Wickes again? NO

Ordered £258 of goods on 17th May, earliest delivery 6th June, got text day before saying slot was 07.. -18.00. Was all ready from 7.00 and stayed by phone waiting for delivery and nothing, no text to say if coming, and gave up at 20.00. Rang Customer service 10.00 next day to get told wait time is 30 mins. That changed to over 30 mins, and after 48 mins I gave up. Tried 30 times since but number engaged. Wasted whole day off work, job now totally delayed and local store now has no stock. Totally despairing and can't wait for Amazon to supply building materials so they are all totally screwed. Judging by other comments, getting money back will be a nightmare. I can cope with problems but NOT no information and NOT no way of contacting them. CEO is David Wood according to their call waiting Blarney, he is obviously made of the appropriate material and completely inert. Detest the management that cannot manage.

One expensive missing item on delivery of £244 goods order, one item delivered damaged. Cannot contact customer services via email. Customer telephone line engaged, or, when eventually accessed, had half hour wait. Even resorted to trying fax shown on order but number unobtainable. Ended up sending written letter by post. Similar problem on a previous order.

We wanted some decking panels because they were clearance we couldn't click and reserve, online it told us a store that had 8 in stock after trying for 2 days to get through to customer service and the store on the phone , to no avail we took the plunge and drove to the store in question only to be told they couldn't find them and that was one of those things

HI again, Goods delivered this afternoon. Wickes failed to book in for the correct delivery date. Deferred till to day, sat in couriers depot. Postal sticker on goods confirms this and clearly states delivery for the 4th not the 3rd.Absolutely un professional and incompetent . What a waste of my time, simple message would have at least been prefered.

Do not use this shambles of a company if you're desperate for materials. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I totally understand that we are currently in unprecedented times but that doe not excuse Wickes unprecedentedly bad ordering policy. Made bulk order on 11th May, next available delivery (2nd June) which, under the current circumstances I accept. Money taken out straight away and all items in stock. Recieved a call day before deliver (3 weeks after initial order) to say one of the items, which just happened to be the most important, was out of stock. When I spoke to representative, I was told that they don't reserve stock once you pay for it but instead wait until the day before delivery (in this case 3 weeks later) to pick your items (if they are still in stock)! What a ridiculous policy. To add insult to injury, I was told that I would have to wait 9 days for a refund! I can understand this if it were an unwanted or damaged item that I was returning but not for something I've already waited more than 3 weeks for only to find, the day before, that I won't be getting it! Shambles of a company! Please avoid!!!!

Hi, Goods not delivered as ordered. Awaited in all day for a7.00-7.00 delivery spot. No communication from wickes at all. No email or chat available. 50 minutes wait time to get contacted. Sandy was no use or help, wickes couldn't be bothered to despatch on time or contact me. He hid behind small print, can't guarantee mayor time of delivery, But refused to accept their rule of cancelling the order within 14days or prior to despatch. Have no Idea when my order will be delivered. Will update later,But if you cannot get Locally don't order online.

We wanted to build a bespoke swing in front garden and though we've had bad experiences from Wickes before, due to CV19, there were no other timber merchants available, so; 230520 We placed our order from Wickes, delivery arranged for 080620. After we placed order, we realised we needed an extra item, so emailed to enquire how to add this extra item to order 240520 Wickes replied, to advise cannot add item to order, has to cancel and reorder We replied to request for order to be cancelled 260520 No reply from Wickes, we called, Wickes cancelled order, but advised this order is divided into two parts, Wickes part is cancelled and refund invoked immediately, however, other part is from timber merchant, have to wait 14 days. We made another new order. 290520 Delivery of 3 pieces of timber, realised they were from first order, not from our new order, courier instruct us to contact Wickes to arrange collection and refund. Immediately emailed Wickes to advise 030620 Received numerous automated template replies from Wickes, with no personal response to our concerns raised. 040620 Now the 3 pieces of large long timber (45 x 170 x 4800mm) are lying blocking our front garden path to the gate, causing both nuisance and health hazard to all of us, especially a 61yo man with heart condition, yet Wickes have yet to respond either to arrange recollection or refund, except to blame the CV19 situation for their malaise non existent customer service. I have asked my builders if they can use the timber, but they are not keen to do so, because as you can see from the photos attached, the 3 pieces of timber have large cracks (over 12cm), knot hole that goes right through its width and numerous tie cuts into its edges.

Bought 28 boxs of your urban grey tiles and they were all different sizes. Customers have been complaining about these tiles for at least four years and you have done nothing about it.Bought a tile cutter that does not work. Store manager will not return my calls. Customer service is a joke. I now see that Wicks is all about profit and ripping there customers off.

I ordered one fence panel on 4th April (along with some compost). The stated delivery date was 5th May. The compost turned up on 5th May but the delivery note states that they didn't pick the fence panel. Delivery driver said it was going to be delivered separately the same day. Nothing. The customer services line is engaged 8am-5pm. I have sent 4 emails carefully explaining the situation and including the delivery note - I have had one reply on 14th May promising delivery. Nothing. I went to local store who promised delivery on 1st June. Nothing. I needed to replace the fence panel before we moved out (3 weeks ago now) and Landlord is withholding return of my deposit (££££s) until the fence is fixed or he will employ a fencing company to come and replace it with £££s deducted from my deposit. Stupidly I held out all this time and have only realised that my experience is far from isolated. Just like the experience of others below, they have already taken my money. In the future I am going to avoid Wickes and Travis Perkins (parent company) at all costs as their systems, logistics and management appear shambolic.

I ordered some wood as I was building a decking platform. I understood I had to wait 3 weeks for delivery, that was fine. Delivery arrived but with only two thirds of the wood. What was missing was the wood for the frame so I couldn’t start work. I asked the delivery guy where was the rest and he just said they didn’t have enough and it was coming from another store. When, he didn’t know. No second delivery, this is where the big issue is. No contact what so ever from Wickes. Tried to call them over 100 times, 3 times I got through and after pushing the correct numbers a voice said customer service was shut, although I rang in opening hours. I ended up sending an email. So I’m sitting here days later, Wickes haven’t called or emailed to let me know when the rest of the wood is being delivered. Nothing! Never had such bad service and I do internet shopping a lot. Would not use again. Steer clear.

Where do I start,placed an order on the 5th of May for an in stock item due on the 25th.On the 23rd a nice young man who liked to call me Bruv called from the store and said my item was no longer in stock.On 24th had a text from courier to say I would get my delivery as planned.Got a text on the 25th to say my delivery had been made.Wher to I don't know.Rang customer services 5 times in 5days for information.Waste of time.Got a refund today on the 30th.Waste of a month.

Would recommend if you need your items delivered, they say there is a slight delay, which is understandible, but they have had ten weeks to put things in place, not slow in taking your money though.
