“The speed of delivery and updates on progress were excellent. The mattress topper is well-made but I have not found it to be particularly luxurious or to help reduce heat. I had seen advice on previous reviews to give it a bit of time, but after 2 weeks I rang customer services only to be told that they do not accept returns on used goods. This was not a cheap product so I am disappointed that it didn't meet my expectations.”

Im afraid that is correct, we do give a 30 day money back guarantee on a purchase of a bed set but not individual items im afraid. We are sorry that you found that the topper wasnt for you. But we appreciate your feedback. Many thanks Jackie, The Wool Room.

“Excellent delivery, beautifully packaged, love the calico bags. Bought two season duvet, tried with the thicker one first but needed to add second layer, takes a bit of getting used to as much heavier than old down duvet, more like sleeping under old fashioned sheets and blankets, it does stay in place though and doesn't seem to slip off the bed. Really like that you can take filling out of pillows, such a good idea.”

“My deluxe topper has only been on my bed for one night - but it is wonderful and is so much more comfortable than the previous feather one! I am delighted with it and would not hesitate to recommend to friends.”

“At first the duvet seemed rather thin, but after sleeping under it for 2 weeks we have become used to it. It is warm without weight, much easier to handle (superking) and does not clump up like down duvets tend to. We are delighted, and both feel that sleep is deeper and of good quality.”

“Very pleased with the duvet and pillow ordered. They came quickly. Only problem was with the delivery as the order was left in a cardboard box outside the back door with no card to say it was there. It was quite some time later that I found it. Luckily, it wasn't raining that day. Apart from the delivery problems, very happy with the products.”

“Ordered mattress protector on Wednesday and it arrived on Friday with texts in advance of delivery. So. The service was superb and the product divine. Currently looking at ordering more mattress protectors for members of my family and about to order bedding. What a wonderful "find" The Wool Room is. I cannot recommend it highly enough”

“The first night of using my mattress topper, I had my best nights sleep for ages. I have a tempur mattress and have always found it very hot to sleep on, so I was very pleased that my new deluxe mattress topper seemed to keep some of the heat away away from me.”

“After speaking with Gemma in the Peak District store over the telephone I felt I had enough information to order one of the Deluxe wool beds. I only ordered two weeks ago so I am waiting for it to arrive, however I also ordered a deluxe wool pillow, which is great. I am going to order the wool duvet to make my new sleeping system even more natural, which I am hoping will give me a better quality of sleep - thanks Gemma”

“We have ordered the mattress, topper, duvet and pillows from your company and were very impressed by the service we received from the agent who sold us the products to yourselves. The goods were delivered extremely promptly and the courier was extremely helpful in allocating a time to suit me. The mattress is extremely comfortable but I am having to get used to the duvet, not quite as user friendly as I had expected but I am sure it will come in time.”

“Bought duvet, pillows and protector as a gift so not used yet, but, quality looks very good. Impressively packed in own calico bags. Communications first rate and arrived five minutes into notified one hour delivery slot. After waiting all day for a parcel ( from a different company ) not to show up it's nice to know that some companies still know how to do things properly. Will review again once used but all looks great.”
