“Ordered wool pillows and once we got the filling to the correct thickness we have enjoyed good nights sleep. Bought one for a grand daughter who suffers from hay fever and am waiting to see how she likes it. I also bought her a pair of sheep slippers age 6-7 and although only 6 she must have big feet as they are too small. Pity as they looked cosy and fun.”

“I have brought 2 toppers and a double duvet. I am very impressed with the items as I am a very hot sleeper this was the ONLY topper that gave comfort and coolness (tried 4). The duvet wasn't as thin as I was expecting and the topper really did add that softness to a slightly to hard matress. Next to the service. One of the toppers had a fault upon delivery. I contacted the company who replaced it next day as well as saying keep the other faulty one to put on another bed as a result of the faulty product. This sort of customer service left me speechless and they will have my loyalty for this. Wool may be more expensive than synthetic materials but there is a reason for it. I wish I took the plunge long ago. When you have a great service with great product you won't regret paying that bit more. Hope this helped anyone who was unsure. Dan”

“Excellent service, and very good products as usual, the only disappointment was the pricing structure, we brought them" on special offer as we thought" only to find a short while after phoning the order through the price has now dropped further ?. We have now ordered a mattress and hope the same situation does not arise otherwise it will be returned very quickly. Lots of companies seem to have this idea of offering a sale price and then increasing the discounts at a later date which we find very annoying.”

“At last one duvet that suits both of us.Hubby likes heavy and hot, I wanted a light one as I was waking up bathed in perspiration. Having done some research I found your site. We now have a medium weight wool duvet that suits us both. I no longer wake up soaking wet, and hubby is also happy with the weight. I will be ordering a light one for the summer. Fabulous product, so glad I found you.”

Great to get your feedback Suzanne, the great thing about wool is that it can adapt to your body temperature, so your husband needing a warmer duvet is comfortable under the same duvet as you who needs a lighter weight. “I ordered 2 deluxe medium wool duvets 8-12 tog for both my children's beds and a classic wool pillow each. The duvets at first I thought were so thin for 8-12 tog, I was thinking they would be squishy and snuggy like a goose down, however I think the duvets are very insulating and you need to get your head around the fact that just because they are thin doesn't mean they are not warm. My sons bedroom gets very cold, so wanted an all round duvet and I think this will be fine. The pillows unfortunately were just a bit big (thickness), and quite dense, they had no give in them my little ones necks got very uncomfortable. (3&5yrs) My husband and I have given them one of our pillows and we use the wool ones to just dress our bed as extra pillows. Very good service.”

Thank you so much for your feedback, you dont say which pillows you purchased, but our Deluxe pillows can be adjusted by taking out some of the wool filling, which may be better for your little ones. We also stock a Cot/Travel pillow which is smaller in size and not as filled, so this may be a better option in the short term. We appreciate your review though and hope to see you again soon. “We bought a king size all season duvet. I think the price is competitive with the advantage of a warm natural fibre duvet. Free postage is a big advantage to us usually-disadvantaged northern Scots. I've bought 2 of these previously (single size) for my children. Its the only 4 season duvet I could find when I searched We need the flexibility up north to have both thicknesses of duvets or one of them individually. The only negative point is that the poppers holding the two duvets together need to be stronger.”

“I ordered two of the wool throws - the package arrived the next day but unfortunately there was only one - however this was quickly rectified after a brief e-mail and the other arrived the following day - they look so good on the end of my twin beds”

“Dear All at Wool Room, Your initial advert gives the impression that a mattress could be delivered in 70 hours. My first enquiry about a delivery date was by e-mail. I received no reply from you to that. When after a week or more I phoned your office I was told it would be delivered in 7-10 days. Fine no problem. After 12 days (Friday 3rd Feb) we get a message from your delivery people at 9.06 in the morning asking us to confirm Monday 6th Feb for delivery. We were out. On coming home we phoned the delivery people as directed, to say Monday would be fine. Too late, the deliveries had already been planned. Can't do it until Saturday 11th of Feb. We had got rid of the old mattress on the understanding delivery would be within the 7 to 10 days. Not overly happy about that.”

We appreciate your feedback Mr Nutter, we sincerely apologize for the delay with your mattress delivery. The 72 hour delivery time scale you had seen on our website was changed before Christmas to the 7-10 day lead time as we had anticipated the couriers would have a much larger work load than normal due to the time of the year. They did have some issues with clearing their back log in the New Year and into February which did impact on your delivery times, and once again we sincerely apologies for the problems that this has caused you. “The service from The Wool Room was excellent, with queries answered promptly and fully. I love the wool mattress protector but sadly it doesn't eliminate the extra unwanted heat from the memory foam mattress, though it does help a little. Having read more information on The Wool Room products, I will certainly replace any old bedding and mattresses with wool products.”

Thank you for leaving your review, wool does have amazing temperature regulating properties, but you may benefit more from a mattress topper to counteract the effects of your mattress...there is a much thicker layer of wool , so will create a greater barrier between you and your mattress while also giving you an extra boost of comfort....it may be something to consider for the future?. thank you for your feedback. “After reading reviews about the benefits of a wool duvet I decided to find out for myself if it was as good as I had read about. Well it was better, my husband & I both agree that we had the best nights sleep, he was no longer cold & I was no longer boiling hot. No more throwing the duvet off at night to cool down & then waking up cold looking for the covers. Delivery was quick and the ordering was easy. Thank you wool room, just wish I'd bought one sooner.”
