“The book was not available from your supply chain. I was informed of this, and that you could not say when you would be able to supply it. I duly requested a cancellation and refund and then went and purchased one from my local independent bookshop. The day after you told me about the delay and offered me the cancellation I received an email from you saying the book had been despatched to me! I returned it to you. The responses from Charlotte were insufficient and unsatisfactory. Please refer to my emails to yourselves on this matter.”

“My orders (2) were placed on November 16 which should have been early enough to receive before Christmas. I had notices that both parcels had been dispatched for delivery by November 22. It is now December 28. I have not received either parcel. They are getting 2 stars since they have been in continual contact and are trying hard to provide good customer service. My last email gave me a choice of refund or replacement. I have chosen replacement so I do hope to see my purchases when the Christmas rush is over.”

“Diary ordered was described as 1918 Moleskine notebook diary, which was what I wanted. It arrived promptly, but was in fact a July 2017 - Dec 2018 notebook diary. This means for the next year I will be carrying around a diary which is half again as heavy as I need. Will not use you again unless product descriptions become more accurate.”

“There was nothing wrong with the book and delivery was excellent but I was very disappointed to find the very same book on Amazon at £10 instead of £17.95 which I think was your price! Both offered delivery included!!”

“The item description was not how the item turned out. I feel I payed quite a fair amount of money for a book which arrived and had been a library book still with plastic cover on etc.”

“You send me too many advertising emails. It puts me off using your company. If I want something I look for it. I would not recommend you because the spam emails are annoying”

“Delivery failed. This was a critical timeframe, and when my parcel failed to arrive I quickly emailed you. I received a No-reply message to say you would read it in the next 24 hours. More panic!!! You caused me no end of worry, frustration and panic at a time when I could least cope. I had to purchase a 'reserve' present which I could ill afford, and which was not at all appropriate. Finally your package arrived in time, thank you to whoever organised that.”

“Not the edition advertised! The book that did arrive was a 2002 edition however the picture was one of the 2016 edition! Very disappointed. No wonder it was cheaper than anywhere else!”

“Ordered a book on the 13 December and was told it would take 4-9 days. It's now boxing day(26th December) and am still waiting for delivery. Yes it's a busy time of year but if it's looking unlikely that you're going to be able to deliver on time it would be nice to be notified.”

“I've placed several orders in the last month and only 2 arrived in a timely manner. One placed on Dec 6th arrived on Dec 20th. Another took 2 weeks and arrived yesterday - too late to give as a gift so will be coming back for a refund. You really need to sharpen up delivery times for items supposedly in stock.”

“Awesome book it's extremely helpful. The only real issue I had was it was not in stock I do not understand why you would put something on a website for sale without it being in stock that's unfair to the consumer.”

“The items never arrived! I waited and waited. The dispatch email said that my books had been sent on 4 Dec and should arrive by 8 Dec. By 13 Dec there was still no sign. I contacted Wordery and they said I could contact them for a refund if necessary if the books still hadn't arrived by 14 Dec. I'm not sure why I had to wait another day to get a refund. In the meantime I ordered the books from Amazon late on Wed night and they arrived on free postage on Friday morning. I really do want to use alternatives to Amazon like Wordery (who I think do pay their taxes) but without better service it is very difficult. In the meantime it is now 22 Dec and my missing books have never turned up- which makes me suspect that they were never dispatched. I would use Wordery again but not for anything that was time critical- as these were (as they needed to be included in Christmas parcels and I incurred additional expense and inconvenience in sending them on separately).”

“The last order took a while to arrive and the book itself was crammed into my post box, which meant the spine and the front were badly creased. I was really shocked at the state of the book. Quite disappointing actually.”
