“I recently ordered a book with several copies via your online business. A Man Called Ove. I was happy with the promptness on which the parcel was dispatched and arrived. What was very disappointing was the fact that..... I chose your company as the book was the cheapest option available and was also advertised to have a 10% discount for 2 or more purchases. I took this at face value. Went ahead with the purchase. The advertised discount on this occasion was not applied at checkout. I paid the full price because I really wanted the book but I decided to follow up the non application of advertised discount to my order. I actually made an enquiry and even supplied photos twice of the advertisement for your company, Wordery. At the end of the day, the discount would have only been $6.40 I believe, or to that extent. What was disappointing I believe was the lack of principle or good will that could or should have been applied. Instead, what occurred was an ongoing to and fro dialogue with one of your customer services (who at no time was rude or inappropriate..... In fact she was very helpful). Point is it took more of her and my valuable time to hunt down what could have been dealt with in a what I believe was matter of principle and goodwill. Yours sincerely Alison Buchli”

“Book did not arrive on time - it was two days late. My e-mail enquiry was not dealt with promptly. I had the impression that the company was under-staffed and struggling to cope. The chosen delivery agent (Post Office) was not good enough.”

“My book did not arrive within 4 days. No responses to 3 e-mails until 9 working days and then only to the first e-mail I sent. No phone number to call so very frustrating”

“How does it take a month to ship/receive one book? Why don't you provide the actual tracking information instead of giving such a broad range of dates of possible delivery dates? Next time I'm going to pay extra and just order from Amazon since they are accurate and reliable. I will no longer be using this service.”

“I was very disappointed with the length of time it took for my book to arrive. I was one of the first to order the book when it finally was available and yet I was one of the last to receive. Had I known it would have taken so long I would have driven to a local store and purchased one. It took almost a month!”

“Previous orders have come in sturdy boxes. This order which contained 4 books came in flimsy Amazon type packaging. This packaging was clearly too small for the books and had been literally squashed down with sellotape. One of the books has a rip in the cover. Have sent a request for a replacement to Wordery but had no response. I am disappointed in Wordery this time and am currently unsure if I would use them again. I moved away from ordering books on Amazon because of their poor packaging and lacklustre customer service and now Wordery appear to be just the same.”

“very slow turn around from ordering, one of my order's is still delayed which was ordered on the 14th of april, email's are responded to slowly and seem automated, facebook correspondence is good, but i dont want to have to use that for transactions as its not secure, good prices on items, but i am not sure i will use wordery again because of the slowness, which is a shame, like i said the folks who do the facebook page a are very nice and helpfull but i am not sure this makes up for how i have been left and am still waiting for books.”

“The book was damaged with the back cover having a large rip in it and the last 15 or so pages damaged as well. The packaging itself was not damaged. Therefore the book was in a damaged state before it was packed. This is very poor quality control.”
