“The book has two massive knife marks on the front cover. Looks like someone has sliced it before it was packaged.”

“I ordered two identical items in error ( because your order page said "Oops something went wrong" so I started again and 're ordeted). I could have accepted that as a simple mistake but when I contacted customer service the response time was so slow that the items had already been dispatched! Finally the books arrived with front covers showing damage. Overall a disappointing service but an excellent book.”

“Disappointed to find that the corners of the book were damaged as a result of the packaging being inadequate; the book moved inside the outer packaging and took a battering during transit and delivery. Needed to purchase a second copy from a different source as needed for a present. I now have a beaten up copy. ☹️”

“A normal sized paperback book was sent in a packet too big to go through a standard letterbox. I was out when it arrived and so had to make a special trip to the local sorting office to collect it. Other suppliers do not have this problem, so why should Wordery?”

“Delivery was late, and arrived too late. Estimated delivery, even at the latest date, had factored in more than enough time for the item to arrive. I understand Wordery are experiencing delays with delivery, as when I enquired about it being late (no one let me know before I got in touch), I received an automatic email explaining that delivery estimate is just an estimate. In which case, surely the estimate date should be a much longer window to be clear, and to manage customer expectations.”

“Do not use Parcel force. I paid extra for next day delivery and instead of using their brains when I was out they simply took it back to the Post Office, which I then had to visit, it is equivalent to a visit to the Seventh Circle of Hell.”

“It was apparent that the books I ordered were not in stock at the time I made the purchase. No mention was made of this at the point of sale. Luckily I didn’t require the books quickly otherwise I would have had to cancel adding extra unessesary Burton.”

“Both books were sliding around in the cardboard sleeves, some extra packaging would have been better, perhaps bubble wrap? One book had a dust jacket which had moved considerably down the book, if the book had been wrapped, this would not have occurred! Fortunately, there was no real damage to either book. Hopefully, packaging will be reviewed? Quick delivery though! Great Prices too!”

“The second of the books we ordered took 2 weeks to arrive despite the estimated delivery time being 4-9 days. (We had ordered them thinking 9 days would only be just about ok). The first arrived after nine days and looked second hand on first inspection as it had rattled about and been bent within the packaging.”

“We didn't receive the books, a map of Spain and Portugal until after we'd left. Even though we did order it over a week before our departure. So we are disappointed. I know we had snow, but if it had been dispatched as you stated before it snowed it would have arrived on time.”

“I ordered 2 books for my mom for mother’s day. One came within a reasonable time, but the other took just over 2 weeks to get to me, which was not in time for Mother’s Day. The books themselves were fine, no complaints, just very long for delivery.”
