Our goods arrived two and a half weeks after ordering! And had been given at least 4 different delivery times and dates before it eventually arrived, despite us being available for each. When I rang World of Camping to get a delivery, I was firstly told it was in the hands of the delivery company. After I had pointed out that I had a purchase contract with W of C and not the delivery company they did respond quite well. The picnic rug was the worst quality of the purchases, with the soft material very thin and insubstantial.

Unfortunately your parcel (which left us in reasonable time after order placement) was returned to us as undelivered by the courier, as there was nobody present at the delivery address. Following your call in which you asked us to delay reshipment for 10 days, we arranged this as requested - we're glad the parcel was delivered as expected after this.

As I have not received my goods yet I don't think this review email is appropriate... as I am unable to reply to this without an overall rating I have given it a poor as I don't think it will make any difference anyway. My goods were ordered but reply received saying not all in stock and would I wait 10 -14 days I have replied yes so wonder why I have received this when goods ordered have not even been dispatched.

Review requests are sent automatically, at a certain time after order is placed - you are welcome to wait until receipt of the goods before placing the review. As discussed by phone prior to your review, delivery of the three spare windbreak poles will take place at the end of next week. We hope that they will be satisfactory.

The Easy Camp Sebring 200 is suitable for Campers / vans with attachment height of 170cm - 210cm. If there is no connecting rail on your vehicle, it should be possible to 'guy over' the top but you may need longer guy ropes to enable this.

I bought two of these and after one afternoon both are showing signs of the stitching giving way. They should be fine if just restricted to children.

I ordered a tent and wasn't advised it was out of stock, why have it on the website if it's not in stock. Still took the money for it, although it was refunded. Just an inconvenience really

With a large range of tents and accessories, it's inevitable that some items will be out of stock some of the time, especially as there is a narrow window for the camping season in the UK. For those who want a very specific model and are able to wait for availability, the option is there to place an order pending delivery from our suppliers, and we will always keep you notified of the expected date for delivery. The item which you ordered should have been flagged up in red in the basket when placing the order. We can only apologise if this was not the case. We never process card payments until the order is being shipped; however, if payment is sent to us by Paypal this is outside our control, as we're a passive recipient of the funds (in the same way as for a bank transfer).

I would love to write a review, but UKMail have yet to deliver any items on the order. It is now 16:05; and I have had 8 texts and emails saying that it would be delivered between 12:41 and 13:41. Although the last email at 13:00 said that the driver had been delayed, but would be with us "soon".

I ordered my product on the 05/05/15 final received it on the 20/05/15 I was expecting it to be delivered in 3-5 working days I sent 2 emails and 2 phone calls to chase it up once I was told it was dispatched but when I called 3 days latter I was told that your supplier had confirmed it would be with me in 2 days would I buy from you again no I don't think so would I recommend your company no.

We're sorry to hear that your order was delayed - this specific product is delivered directly from our supplier, who had an unexpected delay on the stock due to a high volume of orders. Most items on our website are shipped by us from our own warehouse, and would reach a customer much quicker; we're sorry that this was not your experience of our service on this occasion. I ordered a camping fridge, it was delivered in good time and was exactly what I require, however there was some denting of the rear covering which does not effect the operation of the fridge but does look terrible. I will loosen the screws and straighten the cover. I assume this damage was done in transit

Where damage occurrs in transit, we are always happy to replace goods. This camping fridge is, by design, not fully boxed in at the rear, to prevent heat transferring into the box during gas use, so there is an edge which might be perceived as dented. I ordered a new calor gas fire on Wednesday night, i received an email stating the delivery would arrive on Wednesday the following week within a set time, i came home from work on Tuesday to find it had been attempted to been delivered that day. It arrived the following day between a set time, i took time off work to ensure i was home. I researched the fire prior to purchase as i already had a calor gas bottle so did not need to purchase another, after trying to fit my gas bottle on numerous attempts, i noticed the size on the regulator was different to the size of the gas bottle fitting. In future it may be beneficial to others to show the regulator size and inform people that gas bottles / regulators come in a variety of fittings. I still have not been able to get my fire working as i now need to purchase a new regulator for the fire. Being a single female i do not feel confident to do this so have to pay a qualified engineer to do this, this is cheaper than purchasing a new bottle and gas. I hope all this extra angst is worth this new fire, i will wait and see as i am looking forward to having the fire working. Mary

Providing you are using a butane gas bottle, it should be easy to replace the regulator by disconnecting the jubilee clips with a flat headed screwdriver and attaching one that fits your gas bottle. Please do not use propane with this heater, as it is designed for use with butane only (blue bottle). Propane and Butane regulators are of different design in order to prevent misuse. Please feel welcome to contact us on 01209 203220 for any technical help - there is also good advice available from the manufacturer of this heater, and they are always happy to talk to a customer about their products (pamphlet is enclosed with the product).

Ordered 2 water containers based on picture shown on the web site. It did say items supplied might differ slightly from the photo, but the ones that arrived were a completely different design all together. The dimensions are totally different and several inches taller which means I cannot get them under the tap of the water butts. I spent some time searching for the containers I wanted, so I am very disappointed that the picture was so completely unrepresentative of what would be sent. Will not use this site again.

As mentioned, it's stated in the product details that this item can vary in shape/dimensions depending on our current supply - as we source these jerry cans from multiple suppliers, in order to bring the best value to our customers. As such, we can't guarantee absolutely that the jerry can will be suitable for fitting into all possible spaces. However, we can guarantee that it will hold 25 litres of water. I was unable to purchase the item because I live in Spain and wanted to pay using my English bank account. Your system would not allow this. A friend eventually purchased it for me via PayPal Nightmare.

We're sorry that you experienced issues with the payment process. Due to standard security procedures from our card processing via SAGE, certain transactions are not possible, for fraud prevention reasons. However, we are always happy to look into alternative secure methods such as BACS transfer, in addition to accepting Paypal as a standard account-funded payment method on our website.

We're sorry this didn't reach you in time - your order was placed at 17:49 on the Monday evening, and was dispatched by us the following day. UkMail put the parcel out for delivery on Wednesday morning in line with the Next Day service used. Unfortunately nobody was present at your address to accept and sign for the parcel, which is why they came back the following day to deliver at 12:07. We are always ready to take your call or message if there are extra instructions: for delivery to a safe place or neighbour, or even to deliver to a different address where someone will be available to receive the parcel.

1. The order took too long to arrive. 2.The arrival information from the courier and you was incorrect. 3.The value of the order was low but you insisted on a signature which meant 2 deliveries. 4 . The first E mail advising me of timeslot was sent too late so I had already departed. 5 . You tried hard but because of above the experience was not good. 6. Why do you not allow a section to give a place to leave goods when customer is not at home.

We're sorry that the delivery did not run smoothly for you. When sending a parcel, there is clearly a balance to be struck between the security of the goods (which in most cases means that someone must accept the parcel, preventing theft from the doorstep or weather damage) and customer convenience. In many cases there will be a secure place to leave the parcel, however this is at the customer's risk so requires their assessment of the safety of the location. We are looking into making an adjustment to our site to enable these instructions to be added to orders - however we are always happy to add such delivery instructions if contacted by email at sales@worldofcamping.co.uk or by phone on 01209 203220.

The order was quick and easy to place, and paid £9.99 for next day delivery as needed the parasol at short notice. Very disappointed with UK mail, sent me a text to say they would deliver between 6-7pm, so made sure I was home from work, only to find a card through the door to say they had tried to deliver at 13.25. Rang them the next morning, to discuss , and they were very unhelpful, couldn't give me an estimated delivery time, wouldn't leave in garden as signature was required, and said I would just have to take the chance and see if I was in. Couldn't take the risk of not getting, so went and bought another locally. As it happened it arrived when someone was in, so had 2. This one protected my friend well from the sun, but broke by the end of the day. It was only £6.99, so didn't have high expectations , and it was a small price to pay to not get burnt.

UKMail have introduced the 1-hour delivery slot recently, and in most areas the delivery info is accurate, but some depots have yet to catch up with the system. Still not got the item I ordered even though its been a week, they didn't bother sending my item out until I emailed em then they use ukmail as a courier got to be the worse couriers in the world. Stay away from this company as they are cheap because you get a poor quality of service.

Your order placed on 15/06/14 was sent out on 17/06/14. Delivery was attempted on 18/06/14 and a card left by the courier, as nobody was at home to accept delivery. Another delivery will be attempted today - please contact the courier if you are unable to accept delivery today - if there are any problems, give us a call on 01209 203220 and we will do our best to help.

Order taken on site on 16.06, on 18.06 advised out of stock but payment had not been taken, on 19.06 advised payment had been taken but had now been refunded but we have not received refund paperwork yet

To clarify - at point of ordering, our system will authenticate card payment (to ensure that details are correct and legitimate). No card payment is taken until authorised at point of the dispatch of the goods. In this case, as no goods were sent, no payment was taken and your order has been cancelled completely as requested. As such, there is no refund or paperwork.

I bought an item knowing it was out of stock. I was told it would be in by the end of the week, as per normal, it wasn't! Basically 2 weeks or so passed before it arrived to me. I Wouldn't of minded so much if I was just told the truth from the start that it could take a couple of weeks to come back in to stock rather than moving it a week at a time!

We agree this must have been frustrating - generally, back ordered items will be available within the estimate originally specified - however, if our suppliers have products delayed for production reasons and change their supply timeframe to us, this would be outside our control. In this case we were able to send out the order 14 days after it was placed - regrettably this was 7 days later than we had anticipated.
