I'm not sure if I'm being asked to review the product purchased which was poor and damaged and was returned, or the service of World of Camping which was initially good but I'm still not sure if I have yet been refunded.

Paid for items very excited ,had a refund 2 days later with no communication ,item was removed from website we are now left disapointed ????

Thank you for your review. We have checked your order and can see an email was sent to you at 9.42am on 9th September explaining we could not facilitate the order due to the supplier no longer being able to supply the product. We therefore cancelled your order with an immdiate refund and removed the item from the webiste. We do apologise that you do not seemed to have received the email, but wanted to refund you as soon as we knew.

NOT COMPLETELY HAPPY TO SAY THE LEAST. ITEMS WERE ORDERED ON-LINE FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY (Friday). ONE ITEM TURNED OUT TO BE OUT OF STOCK SO THE WHOLE ORDER WAS PUT ON HOLD?. I DID NOT PICK UP THE PHONE MESSAGE TILL AFTER CLOSING HOURS SO COULD NOT CHOOSE AN ALTERNATIVE AND STILL HAVE THE ORDER ARRIVE FOR THAT WEEKEND. THE ORDER EVENTUALLY ARRIVED ON THE MONDAY AND THE ITEM I MOST WANTED ON THE FRIDAY WAS MISSING AND NOT DELIVERED AND ALSO INSTEAD OF 2X 4 HEAVY DUTY TENT PEGS I JUST GOT TWO! THE MISSING ITEMS ARRIVED WEDNESDAY. THE DELIVERY COMPANY ARE GOOD AND GIVE ADVANCE NOTICE OF A 1 Hr DELIVERY SLOT AND TEXT/EMAIL WHEN THEY ARE ON THE WAY.

Thank you for your review. After looking into you order, we would like to offer an apology with our service on the occassion. We did call, to make fast contact with you as your order was a next day delivery and left the voicemail, however we should of attempted to contact you again and will improve this for all our customers on a next day delivery with any issues. We have also spoken with the warehouse department about the peg quantity discrespancy and made sure this just not happen again.

I ordered a sleeping bag which has two faults- I sent details to World of camping along with a picture when I noticed the first fault. I was informed that they would need to contact Outwell to gain advice from them as they don't have another sleeping bag to send me and also asked for further photographs. I sent these and stated that, as I had informed the company of the fault as soon as I had opened the order, I was within my rights to request a refund and for them to recall the sleeping bag. I have heard nothing more from them today but I noticed a further fault and sent a photograph of this to the company. It remains to be seen whether they actually respond by refunding my money and recalling the item swiftly. Shocking service

I am sure World of Camping are very good at what they do, however UK-Mail, who delivered the goods to me in person at my place of work, literally just dropped (from a height) two of the cartons received.... right under my nose. Unfortunately the flat fold-down table is damaged at one of the corners, but it is still usable. Also only one of the two LED camping lights doesn't work at all. I won't be risking placing another order from World-Of-Camping. I also run a business, and stopped using UK Mail several years ago as our parcel courier service, purely due to the amount of stock being damaged whilst in their hands.

ordered 4 items extension lead which i have not tested yet. A campaq party 400 which looks good and looking forward to trying it out. A table and chairs which came damaged the underneath of the table had a crack down the center panel and finally a cool box which arrived with a crack down the side of the lid and the rest of the lid was in poor condition. the packaging that the table and cool box came in was poor there was no bubble wrap or any protection around the cool box and the same with the table. i spoke to customer services and they had no hesitation to swap the 2 damaged items. as we are going away on the 29th july she said we would receive the replacements on the 25th july but i have not received any confirmation by phone or email yet so will have to wait and see. Would i use them again well to be honest its not a good start with my first order so would have to see what happens next.

Thank you for your review. Customer services looked into this today and an error has happened by us regarding your order and for this we apologise. You order was still on hold...for no reason. This has been released for delivery to you Thursday, but you should receive a call form our customer service department to offer a personal apology.

World of Camping appear to use an over sensitive credit check - I think I heard "Third Man" mentioned. We had a previous payment failure on our card due to a website crashing while the payment went through and as a result I was told that we were a "high risk" Two solid jobs, 20 years in the same house, max Experian score so not something I am used to hearing. I supplied additional ID and received my item a day late. Would not use this company again.

We are sorry you feel disappointed in our sensitive credit checks, but there are a lot of people trying to fraudulently place orders and needed to be sure the order was genuine. We are sorry this procedure, to protect peoples money, causes you to feel that you would not use us again. We do our best to protect all people in this way.

I bought 11 of the same product and one was faulty. I've tried to engage with With World of Camping but to no avail. So that makes it only 2 stars. On a positive front buying, price and delivery time we're all very good. Lack of follow up still means 2 stars though.

We are sorry you feel we have not engaged with you about your order, We can see from your order an email was sent to you on 11th July to apologise about the faulty set and that an immediate refund was done for you. You should be able to see this refund on your account.

The coolbox we ordered arrived within days........(great) upon opening the coolbox had a crack in it and was totally unusable. Rang up straight away to explain, world of camping said another would be dispatched and will arrive Friday (we rang Wednesday) and they'd take the broken one away at the same time.........(fabulous) Waited in on Friday, tried tracking parcel online (very unhelpful), rang up to see if they could give an estimated delivery only to be told it's on a van...... It's now Sunday and I'm still none the wiser as to where my coolbox is. I've had no contact from anyone, checked online and all it states is delayed........no explaination or when it's delayed until!!!!!!!!

Ordered online on Sunday. Emailed Monday as noticed the address for delivery had missed out the school name where I work. Paid for next day delivery. No delivery Monday. No delivery Tuesday. No delivery Wednesday. Still waiting today. These items are needed by tomorrow as we are going away. Error was initially that you omitted to change the address details, even though I'd had email confirmation that you had done it. Error now is with Mail UK - I've had the difference in delivery refunded, but I am now desperate for an answer on delivery, and want to know exactly what the reason is for the delay. We are aware of your delivery problem here, in the customer service team and sorry there has been this unacceptable delay, which is not helpful leading up to your holiday. We have authorised another set to be sent on a before 12 service as we are struggling to get this resolved with UK Mail in the interim. We do offer you our apologies for this happening, we changed the details of the delivery address as confirmed in the email you received, but this did not translate onto the order which is being looked into. We do hope that you can see we have tried to help in every way in resolving this for you.

Item delivered late, have contacted world of camping but no comunication back from them as way of an apology. I had to book a day off work but goods never turned up.

You are correct, your item was delivered late and we do apologise for this. We did make an apology when we investigated the issue after you raised it with us via an email from customer services. We do understand how valuable time is to customers, unfortunately even though this was dispatched on time, we were let down by our couriers. We monitor the effectiveness of our courier service regularly and their services are usually very good so we are sorry this has happened to you on this occasion.
