“Prices are excellent and the dispatch & delivery was very quick. The only reason I have not given 5 stars was because of the packaging my order came in. The box that was delivered was about twice as large as the total volume of the items I ordered (it was over a meter long!) and absolutely stuffed with empty boxes and a lot of shredded paper that caused a big mess in my house. It was odd.”

Due to the sheer variety of products we offer, some items when purchased together can create a challenge for our packers (if of differing sizes and shapes) - we will always try to protect the goods as best as possible, which does mean some parcels will be overpacked rather than underpacked. If you have a compost bin at home, we recommend using shredded paper and cardboard as a layer in this, which is great for the garden! Alternatively your local services will be able to collect recyclable waste materials.

“Delivery was speedier than expected, arriving a day before the shippers said it would arrive! The Mountain Road carpet is just what was needed to complete the awning set up. It wraps up much more compactly than I had thought...so it doesn't take up as much room in the VW when travelling with two dogs and other accoutrements!”

“Communication was very good, quick response to my questions having placed an order for a Powrtouch classic Mover, good price and free delivery. Delivery wasn't so good as it was delivered on the 8th working day , promise was 3 - 4 days. Had I known I would have paid extra for a guaranteed delivery, I had booked for it to be fitted the day before it arrived. Luckily my fitter was able to rearrange. Good communication saved the day. All in all very happy. with the service. can't comment on the product yet.”

Powrtouch Motor Movers are dispatched directly from the supplier, who were experiencing unexpected delays at the time your order was placed, as the product has been very popular recently. For this reason we recommend that installation is not booked until the Powrtouch mover has been received - sorry this is no help to you on this occasion.

“I ordered an Outwell wind break and some orb lights. I was expecting them to arrive a couple of days later. When the items didn't arrive a week later. I phoned customer services and was told that there was a problem with a supplier but I would have it by the end of the week. The lady I spoke to was very nice and found the information quickly. It would have been nice to have been updated proactively, rather than me chasing for information. When it did arrive, it was well wrapped and the products were really good quality. I love them! I am very pleased with my purchases and I will use World of Camping again.”

“Very good reel that takes 25 metres of camping cable. The cutout for plug is not big enough for 16 amp plug to recess. Otherwise easy to use and takes up less room and saves the mess that coils get into.”
