I ordered a cooker from Argos. A week later it was the delivery date. I got a message from Argos that my cooker would be delivered in designated delivery date between 7am and 1am. As such, I waited all day for the delivery man without going to work. Because the cooker is my special need. I don't have a cooker in my house and I have to struggle to eat. I have to buy food from outside. After waiting all day, when the cooker was not delivered, I called Argos customer service. There I spoke with a female customer service advisor named Hayley. When I asked to know when the cooker will be delivered with the order number, she told me that the delivery has been cancelled, and it has to be rebooked after 4 days. That means I have to buy food from outside for another four or five days and outside food is always expensive. And it will take a few more days to install that cooker. That means 2 more weeks in total. I have taken leave from work and I have lost my earnings in there, my income has been missed. In response to Argos' blunder, they only gave a harsh apology, Argos supposed to let me know about the cancellation but they did not give a sh***t on me . In fact, as a big company, Argos does not care about the customer anymore. They have such rude customer service in several branches, including East Ham, that it hurts to write. Now at Argos they are not counting customers for this but one day the time will come when Argos will be spat out by ordinary customers. I look forward to that time.

Customer service is braindead. I order washing machine with delivery, installation and recycling of the old one. When they bring it to me (after 7 days!!!!) they have problem with tight parking in my place so I agree they will bring my washing machine next day in van. Person I talk to, ensure me that he will take care for it. He does, cancel my order all together and put new one, but my washing machine was sold to next customer and I need to wait now for new one and nobody care to tell me how long. I noticed that next day after I bough my product it go up in the store for more than 10% and I have every reason to think they ignore me now to force me to cancel order and buy more expensive product. Horrible people, horrible place. Of course they will tell they are sorry, but still you may forgot about any help. If you have any respect to yourself don’t buy from Argos.

Do not order from this company. Waited weeks for garden furniture, took the day off work and travelled to the delivery address (3 hour round trip) received a confirmation text message delivery will be between 9am - 1pm. No communication since, order has been cancelled with no reason given, I only have this information as I called them. I need to order again if wish to re-purchase, who says It would get delivered this time? Wasted a day off work, I will never shop with Argos or any of their brands again. I wouldn’t advise you to either unless you don’t mind not receiving your purchases.

Customer service is pathetic in Argos in Sutton. Had an issue with returns, it appears that Argos don’t have a proper complaint process. The store would advise to call in customer care number. When you call the customer care, they advise to speak with the store because it’s store’s discretion. The complaint can not be made to Argos by an email in 21st century? Perhaps they want to discourage consumers to make any complaint.

Wouldn't even give 1 star if it was an option. Recently moved house, bought a washing machine from Argos but begrudgingly had to wait a month for it to be delivered. Roll on yesterday - delivery day, finally!! Took the day off work and received an email saying delivery will be between 14:30 and 16:30 and the driver will call an hour prior, so I patiently wait. Later that afternoon I receive another email saying the time slot has been pushed due to delays and we're now looking at 18:30... Fair enough. I wait. 18:30 comes and no update. No call, no text no email. 18:45 the driver calls saying he's on his way and will be here within the hour depending on traffic..... Time ticks by and it's now gone 21:00pm. Nothing. 22:00pm. Nothing. By 23:00 I give up. This morning arrives, I ring customer service to find out what's going on, to be told, "the driver ran out of time, next delivery date will be next Tuesday"..... Wonderful 😐 another day of money lost sitting around just in case you decide you can be bothered to show up. Waste of time and money!

I bought a Spear & Jackson 36v cordless strimmer recently which works very well but when I ask about where I can obtain spare parts I am directed to a site where basic products are out of stock. Also the basic strimmer cord which the machine comes with is of a size and nature that you cannot seem to source it anywhere. Very poor after sales Argos.

The worse costumer service I've ever experienced. Waiting for a delivery for three days already and didn't shown up. The agent I spoke with was unprofessional, he refused to give his name and after telling him I'm not happy with his answers to my issue he just hung up the phone. Unbelievable that a company as.Argos has such an unprofessional costumer service. By the way still waiting for delivery.

The Argos in Ilford, rude staff and the store manager Jagjit patel atrocious mannerless, uneducated person, shocking he is the manager when he's not even capable of being hired as a member of staff let alone management. Called up the Ilford store regarding a faulty pan that is under 1 year warranty, the non stick came off. That Jagjit guy was talking about sending it for repair! Such nonsense, can't repair non stick coating on pans and what it said in the policy is replacement or refund as well as it being common sense. Then when I told him to give me the head office telephone number, he didn't know it and asked me to look online to get it! What's he getting paid for, being rude to customers by the looks of it. The manager is atrocious, which shows why the staff hired there are rude like him. Lazy, mannerless, rude, no common courtesy, shows their upbringing and sad lives they have. It's his job to SERVE customers and he should FIND the number and give it to customers instead of saying 'you can find it online.' No please, thank you, nothing. When I told him I was going to complain, he said 'go on then' seems like Argos doesn't take customer complaints seriously that's why they think they can continue being rude to the customers which will cost Argos. Pathetic excuse for a person. If Argos doesn't deal with the complaints seriously, it will lose customers.

Andy the store manager Lincoln Sainsbury. We Had a very upsetting experience with this manager over a faulty cleverspa hot tub refund. Argos customer service has opened a investigation on this experience and have apologised refusly on behalf of Andy and have admitted his awful unprofessional manner. They also said i have a right to a refund as its in 30 days of purchase. They have wrote all this on the order notes. Andy is still refusing refund after this and calling colleagues on the customer service line LIARS . He admitted i came in with a faulty product but he has the power as its at his discretion wether he grants a refund or not. When asked why he wouldnt refund even though this is the policy on the 30 days. He says i dont have to give a reason. This should not be happening the way we got treated was harahly unreasonable. Never witnessed that behaviour from a manager ever before. Citizens advice, trading standards, financial ombudsman have now been contacted.

I was treated disgustingly!!! Ordered a cooked and a washer on the delivery day the delivery men didn’t want to deliver the items so turned there phones off so we got in touch with customer services who called the boys and they said we’re at top of the street if they want to come collect there items, I’m heavily pregnant! I phoned up customer services and rescheduled for another day waited till 9pm and they didn’t turn up again. I phoned again this morning and the excuse was they couldn’t get up my Street I have a picture on my phone of them driving past my house. Avoid at all costs!

Going to Faversham Argos in search of a specific giftcard, was served by a young woman called Taz. Card not in stock, but she did her best for me, phoning other stores and finally tracking down a card. I could not have asked for more obliging customer service.

I chat with argos online twice, wanted me to answer yes or no, I asked what was the question, they just hung up and left me. I am livid with them over a washing machine which I wanted. Are they stupid people who cant understand english. Right now I want an apology.

Bought steamer sun loungers, 1st day it snapped in two. When ordering it stated suitable for delivery however on check out I had to pick them up. this was miles away as they only had limited stock. Now contacted them through chat to someone who didn't speak English and then I had to call them and was promised an email with £20 refund. Not seen that yet either. Trouble is I needed them for the one sunny weekend that we get so had to sort it with wood glue and screws so probably now can't return. Poor quality for price and terrible customer services. Neither contacts were in anyway interested and indeed were preoccupied at time of contact.
