ABSOLUTLEY SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RETURNS POLICY, Argos do not care about customer satisfaction. I purchased a tv and it was faulty, returned it and got an exchange no problem. However the same make and model tv had the same fault, I called Argos to tell them about the fault and was told to return the tv, and i would be entitled to a refund or exchange. So I returned it again, this time to be refused a refund or exchange, because it falls out of their 30 days return policy. I was then told my only option was to have them send it away for repair, and this could take up to 16 days, 10 days later I've heard nothing, not even an update of any kind. I have made several calls expressing my dissatisfaction with all of this, and have been continuesly told different thing by Argos, nothing has been resolved, all I wanted was a refund on a faulty tv that was only 2 months old and well within warranty. You DO NOT get the same customer rights at Argos as you do with AMAZON or ASDA and other retailer's. Just remember if you purchase something from Argos and it is faulty or developes a fault, it is not as simple as returning the item like at most other good retailer's. They do not care about their customer's, and I will not be buying from Argos again, and would seriously advise others not to.

Please don't ever collect the Argos card it is used to reap you off your hard earned money especially if you are the type who don't check your balance regularly. I was charged £32 extra for a £85 balance which I actually paid two days late according to them but for bank delays. I am paying them off asap and shedding the stupid card to pieces.

Today 8/2/19 I went to argos Beeston Notts to buy a cheap casino watch 4 work - the instore browser went down and the 2 till staff were busy with lengthy enquiries - a lovely black lady on the jewellery desk went the extra mile and was helpful and efficient and got me sorted in minutes - don't know her name but give her a bonus - a credit to your company

Bought a pair of beats by dre head phones two pair costing me £200 on a deal, on getting these and finally trying them out a couple weeks later i find the product of poor quality for the high price, the volume is not good at all and very low when at its full, i could still hear background noise over them when in use i found it very frustrating with my mental health issues to use and wanted to return, but due to being used and being just a week outside the date for returns im refused this which i find an outrage, i explained i took the time to complaint to who i thought i had to go to about this issue and went to beats who ended up ignoring my messages and emails i then tried to speak to apple who found out have bought them from beats, i tried to talk about the issue and they ignored me too, when i finally gave up and found my receipt which i couldnt find it at the start of it all and wanted to return them and save the frustration and disappointment. but in trying to do this ive been refused and pushed away like my custom means nothing. this is not my only issue ive had in past with argos so this kind of adds to things and makes me no longer want to shop there. i have mental health issues and this is effecting my autism and Asperger's, i tried to raise complaint about this with argos and they dont want to know and have brushed this to the side not wanting ton resolve it forced to seek 3rd party help. ive lost a lot of faith with argos recently and think they have gotten bad lately, ive had many returns due to faulty products had complaints about how i was treated in store on occasions, ill be staying away from argos now. they have taken advantage of a vulnerable person here and this is whats made me cross. they dont seem to care less i have mental health issues which can impair how i act and go about things daily.

Ordered 3 items online for instore collection, I could have possibly found some of the items cheaper elsewhere but the convenience and trust factor is a big issue for me. Went in to my local store to collect, all 3 items where ready behind the counter waiting for me and I didn't even have to queue as an assistant was available and waiting. He knew exactly what to do, took the code my email and brought up my purchase within 15 seconds. Great company, do a lot of my home a tech shopping there.

My son had some vouchers to use which we decided to use online , and use the click and collect method we found the turn around time sufficient and the system easy to use.

Be Careful when receiving a refund Or paying on a payment plan on your Argos Card . For some unknown reason it appears Argos choose what plan your refund and payment is put on any outstanding plans that they choose Today I’ve noticed due to this I’ve been charged interest (which I shouldn’t have been as I pay my monthly statement in full ) so even when you go on the app and tap on the payment plan of your choice & make payment it’s not always generated on to it So Beware & Check your statements & plans as this appears very suspicious to me and a way of charging interest which I shouldn’t be paying

I've been a loyal customer now for 10 years plus using the Argos store card, and by error for the first time I missed my payment by 9 days, consequently having a heavy interest added. My request to have this waivered due to loyalty and value of purchases made was dismissed instantly with a well its your fault, so tough luck. I escalated and now after 3 emails over a month and no response finally called today and got through to Rachel who has lied regarding receiving the emails stating she only received one and was just getting around to replying! Understand my error, but expected more from such a big company, but maybe that's where the big boys are failing and falling from our high street, as the service is not to the level you'd expect. Paid now and closed my account, so taking my business elsewhere.

Argos failed to deliver my mum's order THREE times. THREE times! She waited each time, and no one even informed her that the item wasn't going to arrive. How is that possible? She's wasted 2 days waiting for her items. Only good thing is that it's quick to get through to Argos on LiveChat, but it's completely pointless at the same time because they can't solve the problem. The only thing they suggest is rebooking the item! Well.. there's no 4th time lucky here. Statistics would suggest that the 4th time isn't going to succeed either. 0% success rate. 1. Why is the item able to be rescheduled when it obviously can't be delivered? 2. Why aren't we informed when the delivery fails? 3. Why can't the help desk do anything about it other than suggesting rebooking it for failure again? 4. Who's going to compensate my mum for her two wasted days? 5. We needed two emergency guest beds which we now don't have. What do we do? Thanks for nothing Argos. Suggestion to everyone: Don't buy from Argos unless you don't mind the items never arriving. Your very specific 3 hour delivery slot means nothing.

Fridge Freezer - crack on door. After trying every avenue to get through first by phone then by chat - i was referred back to a telephone number for white goods that told me i needed an authorisation code and put me back on hold and in cues for the same number that was for TVs Tec-support and more passing the buck. 1 HOUR later a gentleman finally helped my and called me back to say that Argos would not deal with any fault claims on an item 7 months old and i would need an independent report - as it was cosmetic. Cosmetic when the most used part develops a crack - i don't think so! Well done Argos for wasting my Saturday morning..

Excellent until paying by card. This then gets checked separately from the call to Argos. It is time consuming and often doesn't work how agos/bank says it should. More hassle
