Argos Customer Service Staff are long-suffering and patient. Their job would be a lot easier if Argos's suppliers performed proper pre-delivery checks.

Following a disastrous experience with a Sharp tall upright freezer, ordered through Argus, we have changed our order to Samsung tall upright freezer. The webpage states the freezer door is reversible and can be left or right handed. Beware, if the freezer is delivered opening the wrong way, it is a CHARGEABLE EXTRA, around £80.00 to have the door reversed. Through ARGOS an engineers visit has been arranged but we must wait for the parts and pay in advance. ARGOS will make a goodwill partial payment towards the cost. To make matters worst the delivery team just dumped the new freezer in our hallway and left, although an unpack and inspect option was included in the delivery instructions. The net result is we have been without a freezer since early December 2018. Unbelievable.

We took delivery of a Sharp Tall Upright Freezer in December 2018, which did not work (no gas). A replacement freezer arrived in January 2019, which also had a fault, it defrosted when switched into fast freeze mode. Following three engineers visits and waiting for parts to arrive from Germany the fault cannot be fixed. We have been offered and declined a second replacement Sharp freezer. We have no faith in Sharp being third time lucky.

I've been to Argos Congleton several times this week to collect a large order. The staff were brilliant! So helpful and attentive, especially Janet, who couldn't have done more for me! Thanks everyone, you're amazing!!!

Shopping in town, with peace on my mind. I needed to browse and feel rested awhile. To look, at my leisure, was a great deal of fun, and to find what I needed was cheaper, as well. The people are friendly, the service is good. I'm so glad to shop here, in my neighbourhood. Thank you Argos.

I shopped at Falkirk Argos and found the staff (Linda and Emma) very helpful, patient and very willing to see that the order was completed to my satisfaction. Great customer service!

Went into the Argos store in strood on April 3rd and I had THE most amazing experience. I met Kim at the cash point/customer service and she was patient, warm and had an infectious smile throughout the whole process. If any company wants to show what customer service should be like; Kim is the definition without fault. I truly enjoyed my experience there and even though it's out of my area, makes me truly want to go back there again to shop.

waited in all day, item never arrived, I'm sure when they know it will not be delivered that day, they can let you know, the tracking is a joke, if it were true I would have got my item,

Very bad costumer servis! My daughter saved her muny from her birthday and Bought the fliker skooter, didn't realised it will be to small for our daughter until we put it all together. After an hour we brought it back asking for a refund because they didn't have a bigger size for exchange. But we haven't got refund back because thay set it was taken out of the box and described it as it was used. Very sad, very disappointed!!! No more at this store! lost lots of muny!

Robotic staff, Went there to ask about a refund has I took item back and they said we can only give you credit on your argos card because that is the way you paid for item so I said why did staff member want my visa card ? what did she want it for When I made my purchase? "Answer Well I was not there so I cannot tell you< repeated about 3 or 4 t times, She did not have a clue, Walked out in Disgust..

I ordered a £200 hoover for same day delivery between 7-10pm. I waited until 11pm...nothing. This morning I did an on-line chat whilst feeding kids, dog and a hundred and one other things. After 30 miutes I eventually got through. I was told they had problems at the warehouse and that’s why they couldn’t deliver. Would it have been too much for someone to let me know or update the status of the order?! I stressed that I needed the hoover this morning but they told me that the earliest slot they could offer was 2-6pm. Not helpful! We then got cut off the chat. I then called Argos and spoke to a much more pleasant person who explained that the hoover was damaged and that they should have called me to let me know. He couldn’t get the hoover to me any earlier, not even guarantee a delivery slot closer to 2pm. I now have to find an hour in the day to collect the hoover with puppy and kids in tow! I had to check they would refund the delivery charge and I had to ask what they could offer for the inconvenience. Delivery charge refunded and a £10 gift card offered but that doesn’t come close to making up for the inconvenience caused in the last 12 hours or reassure me that this is a reliable service. This is the second time I’ve tried same day delivery and it’s the second time Argos has failed to deliver. I will not be using this service again.

Tried very hard to receive an answer about a wardrobe you have advertised. Your company advertises having a medium wardrobe in white finish, but, can buy in package in gloss finish, with chest of drawers. I questioned your company if I could buy wardrobe singly in gloss finish, but no reply. How convenient of you not to reply, as you have no answer. A big MESS! Sort you company out, and also customer service!

Just been sold the wrong batteries but the sales assistant for the toy dyson ball we bought our young grandson.so not able to use until we can buy the correct ones. We also recently ordered him a ride on tractor which we ordered before his Birthday so it would arrive in time, I was given confirmation of the order and told two dates in which it should arrive out our chosen destination. It never arrived, I was then told by assistant in store, they didn't have any in the main warehouse. Very disappointing service

We ordered a freezer.They cannot offer a disposal facility for the old one(we would happily pay). We were offered a three to five day delivery timescale but were then told they had reneged on that. We received an E-mail from Indesit (that came as a surprise) but when I provided our post code(authentic and accurate for many years)it was not recognised. Contacting Argos is futile and with Indesit it is impossible because our post code does not exist.

Recently had a mattress from argos bought with the knowledge that i could send it back on their 100 night return promise if it wasn't to my liking. I tried via the live chat but he said i have to have proof that i had a mattress topper on and have the original plastic it came in. It has had a Topper on from day one but how can i prove it and the plastic it came in was torn, wet and filthy has it was dragged from the van in along the pavement. I am now looking fo a replacement from amazon which i suggest you do

I drove 36 miles to Dartford Argos to collect airpods for my son. To my surprise sfter i Went home and opened the box ,we found out they were different. I went to the the local store and they confirmed the AirPods were fake. FAKE FAKE i just could not believe it. They refused to refund me, but asked me to drive back to dartford another 36 miles for refund, What an experience with argos. DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
