Argos at Stevenage, ask for Dave if you need help. I think he is one of the bosses and he is very knowledgeable and friendly.

have never dealt which such poor customer service, absolutely terrible, your negligence is insulting. I was on the phone for literally ONE hour and a HALF explaining to NINE different people my case even though you have it on e-mail. When I was passed to the "relevant" person or department no information was passed so I had to explain myself all over again. I wanted to speak with your Finance department regarding VAT receipts - It's not that complicated isn't it? The last person with whom I spoke with (responsible for Deliveries????) just hung up the phone and that absolutely crossed the line. You have no idea what are you doing. It seems that nobody has excess to e-mail thus nobody can check my e-mail which clearly explains what I need. It's all in a list, with order numbers, dates, items, quantity. This shouldn't take any effort whatsoever, it's usually done in one hour the most, it has now taken ONE MONTH! I wrote two e-mails with the full lists included, several requests for particular orders through the whole month, called several times, my account department called you several times as well. I have been waiting for those VAT receipts for a ridiculous period of time now, chasing you to do your job. AND YOU CLEARLY HAVEN'T! Moreover, you mange to insult mine and our accounting department's efforts to resolve this in the fastest way.

I ordereda set of dumbbells 3days ago to be delivered to my home address the day before yesterday between 7pm and 10pm. On this mentioned day,at about 7pm, I got three emails saying your order has been dispatched, unable to deliver and your order has been cancelled. Yesterday morning I phoned them explaining this situation. They updated my order ( I have got an email as a proof of it) and promised to deliver it to my address yesterday between 2pm and 6pm. Because I still did not have it last night, I decided to go for live chat and explained this again. It was Danielle there who told me that sometimesthey are late and ask me to come back and chat an hour later. I did not do this because I was tired. This morning trying to phone customer services and with being on the phone for 25 minutes, the phone call was cancelled. I am sending the order number 1076351066 and the product number 936/7816 in case someone wants to wake up and send me something I have paid to stop me thinking that someone has taken something that was not theirs. Ordered a chest of draws from Argos yesterday purely because they offered same day delivery. Firstly the website was not functional and it kept looping when I attempted to make a payment. After holding for 25 mins to reach customer services, I finally got through to an advisor and was immediately cut off by a 'technical glitch'. Tried again, another 30 mins of waiting to then being able to successfully place my order. I paid the delivery charge and agreed same day delivery. Took the evening off work to receive the delivery except there wasn't a delivery! Not even a call or email to explain. Rang customer services who apologised and confirmed delivery hadn't even been attempted for an unknown reason and assured me it would be delivered today again between 7pm and 10pm. Stayed at home again this evening having taken another evening off work, again no delivery and no call or email from Argos to inform me. I'll never ever be using Argos again. This is false advertising to get traffic on their website.

Absolutely horrendous customer service, almost as bad as Santander. Been on hold now to cancel my delivery and it's been 2 hours!!!! Online email assistance is useless - over 12 hour wait for a response. No live chat option either. Will never shop at argos online or in store again.

Hi Argos, I would just like to thank a lovely young lad called James (not sure of his surname but he had dark hair and works in your Bromborough, Wirral store) we had a lot of large, heavy packages and he was working at the collection point. As expected we waited a little while because we had so much stuff. James chatted with us the whole time. He was so polite and pleasant. We overheard that he was due to finish his shift but we were still waiting on a few items.. He was set on completing the order before he left despite having a bus to catch, and not only that but he piled all our boxes in a trolley, followed us through the car park and helped us to load the car with all the boxes! (It would have been a hell of a task for us two small girls) I kept telling him to go and catch his bus and thanking him, but he insisted on helping us.. it was almost half an hour after his shift should of finished by the time we were ready to set off! Lovely to see that some people can still deliver excellent customer service with a smile. He would not allow us to give him a lift home as a thankyou but I would like him to get credit for his lovely gesture ???? you have a very valuable employee Argos! Thankyou very much James ???? xx

Ordered two wardrobes three weeks ago and earliest delivery date was today 12-6pm slot. I have waited in all afternoon despite this being half term week with my children only for no delivery! I then telphone customer services and wait for a representative to answer for twenty five minutes. On answering, there is no apology for the delay in taking my call! She then proceeds to tell me that due to the delivery van being involved in a traffic incident they are unable to deliver to me, and that a text message was sent to me about this, which was not done at all, despite 2 adults and 2 children being in the home to be able to hear this! The earliest delivery date they can now give me is 3 weeks away, despite my wardrobes being on the van. They say it is rolling stock and these wardrobes are now allocated to another customer as they are undelivered to me! When I ask for an earlier date as I needed the wardrobes for this weekend, this is not able to be done by them. When I ask for a morning delivery time for the rearranged date, this cann ot be done either due to scheduling, and the next available slot is a further week on. Suffice to say, I angrily cancelled the order and expect a full refund, and I will never use the company again, nor recommend anyone else to either. They will be going out of business at this rate of poor service.

Not once not twice... nor three times... but 4!! 4 orders screwed up and customer service that is shocking.. OK to hang up on customers after waiting 40 mins to be put thru to the wrong department. 4 weeks still waiting for the first refund.... delivered to wrong address with another and I pay for two items for them not to be delivered no warning to mention from argos ... takes me to ring them 7 days later to be told should never have gone through out of stock. ... still no refund!! No more argos... your a joke and your staff less then charming

Inconsiderate ARGOS driver blocked the car park where my partner lives in Hastings and took his time letting her out and made her late for her work. This was in Hastings at about 1.10 pm today Monday 26th October 2015. Instead of moving the vehicle as requested he argued with her then offered her a "voucher" can you believe! Could have moved the vehicle a few metres to let an obviously concerned woman out of car park but no, fanny'd about and made her late. Poor show Argos.

Another friendly, helpful shopping experience at Argos. Had to collect a large heavy order .The shop assistant Salim from Walthamstow Argos in Home base offered to carry it to my car without even having to ask . Great service.

Ordered a item online for collection, sent me the order number reference, took the money out of my bank and then emailed me to say the item was out of stock and that i would receive a refund within 5 days, which i have not received. Thoroughly disgraceful that they can do this. Will not order online ever again. Appauling service.

Bought a VAX upright vacuum yesterday. Very good product, the suction is phenomenal and for the price, £99, I don't think anything can touch it. Despite this, however, there are some things about this purchase that aren't what they are supposed to be. We bought the product from Argos and the model number was quoted as U86 but the box says U85. You might think this is nothing but when you come to register it with VAX for your 6 year guarantee a search for U86 is knocked back, so U85 it is. What does concern me is the claim by VAX that the 'ultra lightweight' vacuum weighs - and I quote - '4Kg in use', when in fact it weighs 5.8Kg, exactly 45% more. We bought the vacuum on the strength of the ultra light weight because we find it difficult to cart our existing vac up the stairs now that we are knocking on a bit. Maybe VAX and VW share the same spurious claims department.

Would not deal with this company again. Purchase a Nikon camera. Almost immediately the focus did not work. I looked up the Internet and discovered this camera has this fault as a number of people testified but they gave a simple solution to the problem which worked for them. I tried this solution and it worked. However, a few weeks later the problem reappeared. I took the camera back to Argos expecting them to replace it. Instead they sent it away and said I had to pay over £100 to get it fixed. Do not trust this company.

Not very impressed with argos lately. Ordered two large items from them and was promised a certain delivery date when ordering which argos later refused to stick to. It then took me 4 weeks to get it cancelled and get my money refunded after countless phone calls on my behalf. I also find it very disappointing that argos advertise delivery within 5 days for items that they are unable to deliver within 5 days.

argos is a disgrace ordered a table and chairs set stating that the set normal retail price was £649 It was in a flash 1 week sale and had something like 70/ off £229 then they advertised a code at check in for another 20/ off so we paid £188 for a six hundred pound set and that was all delivered . What a bargain so we thought . We were over the moon at the buy we had .it was delivered Thursday I noticed the box said Penley design and it didn't ring a bell I knew the one we ordered was called Elmwood so when I looked it up online the Penley set was only £199 not exactly the 6 hundred pounds worth we thought . Telephoned them and they said it was correct and the Penley table was part of the set we ordered a cheap nasty set that with 2 kids and pets would last 2 weeks probably horrible and is now going back but we have to wait about a week for it to be collected and then a further 5 days for refund a joke and would never use this company again . Disgusting sales tactics
