Hi I would like to raise my concerns/complaint about a delivery and was given the wrong information.... I ordered a range cooker from yourselves around 4 weeks ago I do have the order number on request, when ordering the range cooker it did say 7 days delivery I thought fabulous I’ll order it, till then it said 7th February which I rang up and tried to change the delivery address within the 7 days that said on your website, to then get told the reason your waiting that long is because of installation, I did say I only wanted delivery and they said no it’s included in what you’ve paid so I cancelled the guy who was meant to install my cooker I rang up on numerous of times to clarify that it is getting installed (evidence if needed) and asked for a note to be put on my file, the woman did say she has put a note on the file I rang up maybe a week later and different lady said yes it’s getting installed there is a note on your file, the day of the delivery the delivery company rang me and told me it’s not getting delivered in the four hour time slot as it’s to heavy so they need to do half of there jobs and then deliver the item, I asked specifically for the time slots as I have plans so there for I have to rearrange my plans, I also confirmed with the delivery company that it was getting installed for them to say no, I have family members coming from London as I have recently moved in to my own property, I did receive a text message of Argos saying my delivery will be delivered and installed on the 7th February, I rang up and argos said I’m sorry but you’ve been giving miss information on numerous of times in the 4 weeks I’ve been waiting for the cooker. The customer service I have received has been disgraceful, break down in trust and has left me feeling very disappointed I am now left with a cooker sitting in my garage waiting even longer for it to be installed. If I knew I had to wait this long without a cooker and feeling very anxious about this situation I wouldn’t of ordered from yourselves. Your complaints procedure is to write a letter and post it but no one could tell me when I would get a reply I would like this resolved, I have everyone’s names I have spoken to at Argos Kind regards Sarah Carson

Very angry right now! I ordered a pair of Sennheiser HD 4.50BTNC Noise Cancelling Bluetooth/NFC Wireless Over-Ear Headphones via the Argos app. I needed these headphones right away so I opted to go here rather than John Lewis who were doing them of over £10 cheaper but with a longer wait. The app stated I could "Order now and collect in-store right away". So it seemed worth paying the extra money. However once I had paid for the headphones, I was sent a message saying the headphones would be ready to collect on Friday. I called Argos and they told me the headphones were not actually available in-store and that the app plays up sometime and there's nothing they can do to help me. Now for the next three days I have no headphones and no money to buy the headphones I want. I've used argos for years , but after this experience, I will be deleting the app and never shopping there again. . They've lost a valuable customer in me and whomever I'm able to tell this experience to.

Do NOT order large household appliances from Argos. Upon delivery the item was damaged, they took my old appliance and then informed me I had to wait 5 weeks without a washing machine!! I cancelled the order, Argos kept messaging me with the 5 week delivery date, I cancelled the order again, this was again ignored. I had to phone and cancel the order for the 3rd time! They did not give my money back, they still haven't given my money back......2 weeks after I am still waiting! Poor customer service. I ordered from Very in the end a cheaper like for like machine delivered in 5 days. You have been warned!

If I could give zero stars then I would... I ordered a washing machine and oven from Argos on January 1st and paid for delivery and installation. I took the day off work to be in for the products and used the tracking system advertised however the delivery company (DHL) were two and a half hours earlier than the tracking system said so I wasn’t at the property. They didn’t ring an hour before delivery as they were supposed to. It came to light that my items were put onto a different vehicle due to staff sickness so I was tracking the wrong lorry. Not my fault! I rushed back to the property within 20 minutes and even though the drivers had promised they would wait, they hadn’t. I spoke to many unhelpful and rude members of staff; Argos were not taking any responsibility and were blaming DHL even though my money went to Argos therefore any issues are their responsibility. I have been spoken to like dirt by many staff. A new delivery date was eventually agreed for Thursday 30th Jan and a member of my family waited in for the delivery all day. Turns out that the items we paid for were never loaded onto the delivery vehicle! Again I complained and again no one cared. I stated that the items would have to come on a weekend as I couldn’t take any more time off work and neither could my family. The loss of our earnings were accumulating plus the costs of using a launderette which I had to drive to. At 6.28 the next morning (a Friday and not a weekend) I had a phone call saying the items would be with me in an hour. I asked if I could be moved lower down the list as I wasn’t expecting the items; I was told no and there was zero flexibility. I went into work late to accommodate the delivery despite more loss of earnings. This was yesterday. My items were installed yesterday and the washing machine is leaking. Either it wasn’t fitted properly or it is faulty. Help me!!!

Awful experience with Argos - terrible customer service from the telephone CS team Reserved an item from a store 20 miles away (item wasn't available anywhere else) Spent over 2 hours & fuel to collect item. Back home, tested item was faulty (potentially a returned item) and should not have been resold. Told Argos they should at least compensate me for the wasted journey, or offer to send a working replacement. They refused and said it "was a personal choice to collect item". It wasn't a personal choice to be sold a defective item! A rude manager by the name of Rebecca refused to show any empathy and consideration for my awful experience. Was told I could hand write a complaint to the Head Office of which I would not receive any correspondence. Very bizarre as there would be no proof that my complaint will ever be dealt with. Argos has a poor dispute service and wont take responsibility for reselling returned & defective items. They hide behind a poor customer service policy which does not take into consideration the effort a consumer goes through to collect an item. They are also unwilling to take complaints via email and wont offer to post out a replacement. Other online sellers are far more receptive and the distance selling regulations in the UK are far better than when physically purchasing from a store. It makes you wonder why the high street is failing us. Argos simply hides behind a dated, inflexible and rigid Customer Service Policy which seems to make the managers think they can be rude to paying customers. Poor form Argos!!

Shoddy product failed. And then 2 days of calling and emailing later and all the Argos and Vax team have done is waste my time. Strongly recommend going elsewhere to buy anything.

Totally terrible, can't believe the pure lack of customer service and quite simply unprofessionalism..... Reserved item, made special trip to collect, arrived, paid for, received completely damaged, then told they had no others and they tried to pass this off to me..... then told I would be refunded, but wait....you'll receive your refund in 7 to 10 days! Totally useless and money spent on debit card and no longer available to me. Then advised I could collect from another store, no transfers between stores! At my cost, great! A round trip of 10 miles and further 30 minute time inconvenience! Plus, this would cost me double which they just dont care about.... how unfair and unreasonable is that?! No consideration, no understanding, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, I really dont think they know the meaning of this!

Argos are thieves! They have stated my large delivery of about £200 had been delivered when it clearly had not! Called their terrible customer service only to be told it’s not their problem?!?! We are now having to take further legal action as they have kept the money and we have received no service or the order at all! Terrible, money hungry company!!

Never try to return things ever, all you get is a condescending manager in their mid 20s reading from a hymn sheet and saying you cant return any product over minor things. Wont be back, voting with my feet with pleasure had situations like this too many times. No wonder the high street is dying when you have firms like this compared to Amazon etc.

Fantastic service from Argos in Norwich. I made a mistake entering the delivery address and the driver and phone operator bent over backwards to contact me and find out where I was so they could deliver. Outstanding customer service.

This is very unexceptional, u made mistake, u overcharge to your customer, don't want to refund, forced them to buy your item issuing Argos card........ 'm very good customer of Argos and always bought items through online. always superb but one incident that makes my attention to write in your wall that i was very disappointed with your staff called Chrissy (what she told me) @Plymouth Transit Way Argos. My reservation no is 992065 and was there to collect my item which was 50% off when i purchase and she charged me full ie 70 pound and when i asked, she replied that i ve to tell her before...my question is.... do your system knows or not when i showed my reservation no? If she knows then why she charged me full price? after i talk with her, she check in her computer with help of colleges and i guess she knows the price is 35 instead of 70 pound then she came and told me that she is going to issue a card n took all my detail (later i found it was for Argos card) and told me she is going to add that rest of money which she had charged me more, which i can't exchange to cash and i must have to purchase item from Argos. This is very unexceptional, u made mistake, u overcharge to your customer, don't want to refund, forced them to buy your item issuing Argos card.... really disappointed... Regards: Mr. Ghale

Dont buy a laptop unless you are sure it has all the features you require,as they won't take it back and you cant get a refund if you have set it up,unless it's a manufacturers fault. Took mine back, was given a short, sharp, generic response from the staff

Tried to register a complaint online after sending an email to a manager with email (name) @argos.co.uk which has been ignored for over a week (not even acknowledged). Used the online chat and messenger features I was left waiting for 30 minutes got passed from pillar to post to eventually to be told that I couldn't complain this way and had to call a premium rate number or write a letter! Blatantly Argos dont want to acknowledge listen to or deal with complaints!
