I ordered a bath panel to be delivered between 10 am and 1 pm. By 1.30 they had not arrived nor contacted me. After holding on for Customer Service to answer for 20 minutes, I was told there was a problem although the woman did not know exactly what. She apologized, refunded the delivery charge and rescheduled for the next day. Exactly the same happened. I did speak to a customer service manager this time. She was personally apologetic and said she would re/order. I refused a third delivery as she could not guarantee it would not happen again.

The staff are rude, the customer service is poor, do not go to the whitechapel store at your peril. The staff including management are rude and belligerent. Also, the items are not as described and break down often

New washer 12 weeks old. Making noises that it shouldn’t spinning, being told basically I’m putting too much and too little in??? Won’t do anything about it. Told me to get an independent written report to show them and they’ll decide again whether to replace/refund ... maybe. Made to feel like I’m an imbaseale

Worst customer service i have ever had in Blackpool Cork Argos .Gwen should not be working front of house her attitude was appalling. Purchased a bistro table and chairs and would not permit us to take a trolley to bring it to the car .Proceeded to raise her voice as to where we were parked and wanted to know exactly where in the worst tone ever .We eneded up lifting it out ourselves .I am not happy as to how i was treated .Would not like this woman to be representing me as a business .I work in front of house and a smile costs nothing these people keep our businesses going and pay our wages that is how i would see it .

The staff at my local store are professional and helpful and friendly. My problem is with head office , I had an email which looked like it was from Argos telling me I had a voucher for my birthday , wondered how they knew it was my birthday , so went to the store and a lovely man rang the office and they informed me that it was a scam and that was it , they didn't seem bothered and have not even looked into the scam , I am a pensioner and it has scared me so much that I will now not shop online. Be aware of ARGOS scams

After placing a reservation I took my elderly mother to your honiton branch to collect these items as it has very good access for her. I was absolutely disgusted with the attitude of your staff member on our arrival. As there were three items on the order and my mother wanted to pay part cash and part card we headed for the tills. Your staff member came straight to us asking how we were paying not even a good afternoon or hello. She took us to the till to where I believed she would take our money/card and we would be able to collect our items. Well I can only say she must have left her manners at home. After paying for the cash item she ordered us to the self serve tills, I was very confused at this as she was also talking to other customers. My elderly mother then had to make her way to the self serve checkout. Still confused at what was going on I was spoken to like I was stupid. I asked why we could not have completed our transaction at the till but had no response only a very aggressive reply demanding my order number again. At this point I told the assistant that her attitude was a disgrace and told her that I did not require the remaining items. Whilst queuing for the one item we had paid for I was completely ignored, your assistant even passed me completely blanking me. This experience upset my elderly mother and I think it is totally unacceptable. I await your response.

Bought a fan, open up, try it and found it was not powerful enough. Went back for an exchange to a better one but was told that is not possible as I have used it. WHAT?! How do you know if the product is good enough for you without trying. There isn’t a sample in shop. Ridiculous! Bought another from next door John Lewis instead. Not recommended to buy from Argos.

Purchased a Sony smart HD TV in December 2018, just over 6 months ago from Taunton Argos, I returned it to Argos 3 weeks ago as it would not switch on, they refused a refund and offered a repair, I went to collect the TV today (3 weeks later) only to find no fault was found, but they had lost my remote control, I asked them to switch the TV on to show it working but they refused, I asked where my remote control was and they said missing, I asked for a refund and again they refused, I left the TV with them, and left without a refund. I have taken advice today and am now seeking a refund as advised under my Consumer Rights. Never ever buy anything from Argos. The TV cost £319.00 and it looks like its going to be a while before I get my refund.

never ever order anything for delivery… never ever order anything for delivery from Argos I ordered an laptop in fast delivery, but I never received it, I do not know what the driver did with the laptop and the signature is not mine or the name that is engraved, Argos refused to do further investigation. I have reported the police and now I am receiving support from the Citizens Adviser . the driver made a false statement and I have everything to prove, but Argos refusing to accept. my advice for you is never order anything for delivery from Argos im special Likeside store ... one day can happening to you , . Argos no follow any customer complaint procedure ,no duty of care with customers, refused to do a fair investigation and to refund or give another item. I had been exposed because of this company because I had to start investigate what's happened

I reserved a special edition PS4 Harvest moon Light of Hope game for my daughter. It stated it would be available to pick up in 3 days time from our local sainsburys on the Thursday. I headed up there to pick it up and it wasn't the special edition at all, just the standard game. I could have paid the same price elsewhere for the special edition but I missed out because I thought Argos were reputable. Lesson learnt.

Appalling service, do not buy electrical products from Argos with installation. The fitting and delivery is provided by DHL , who changed the delivery times throughout the day, I then received a call from the driver to say they could only fit the electric oven and not the gas hob as it wasn’t on the job sheet (It clearly was and confirmed with Argos) The driver clearly had no intention of fitting the product as they then said they didn’t have the tools and not gas registered, that was before they turned up, obviously running late , then said they couldn’t fit the plug through the unit as hole not big enough !!! tank cutter drilled hole would only take 5 seconds, so they said couldn’t do it and dumped the box with contents in the middle of the kitchen floor , he said ring Argos and get a full refund as he couldn’t do it today. Continued to make excuses to do the work. Attitude , not bothered and didn’t apologise. Clearly just wanted to deliver the goods and not fit them. Be very interesting to know how many products actually get fitted by using DHL delivery drivers not trained or can’t be bothered to install the goods . Only waited 3 weeks as well. As it states at the start of this review. Appalling service please be aware..

Terrible company. Unprofessional, rude, sell goods which are used or broken, take silly amounts of time to process refunds. Save yourself the agro and use amazon prime, its way easier and cheaper. I WILL NEVER USE ARGOS AGAIN.

I bought a Tefal Steam Iron on 2nd June. When I got home, I noticed it was an old iron, put into the box. I had just bought someone else's old iron. There were tell-tale signs of previous use. The water tank had drops of water inside and there was a scuff on the sole plate. Also, part of the polystyrene packaging had been damaged, obviously someone bought this iron before and returned it. ......Argos then sold me the same iron, thinking it was new, but clearly it wasn't. I returned to the store to get an exchange. I explained to a sales assistant about this, however, she immediately insinuated it was my old iron. She then said she needed to speak to her manager. Eleonora, the so-called manager told me they were not going to give me a replacement as she checked the stock and said an iron like that had never been returned, therefore, simply dismissed my claim. I mentioned, this is unfair and told her I was unhappy about how she was speaking, in suggesting it was my old iron and I was trying to fraudulently return it for a replacement. I kept standing my ground as I could not believe what was happening. In response, Eleonora gave me the number for customer services and suggested I speak to them for an exchange.. I phoned Argos Customer Services. They explained, it was the store who makes the decision, which Eleonora would obviously had known beforehand, however, determined to give me a hard time, on the basis she thought it was my old iron. Being dissatisfied with the outcome, I asked the manager Eleonora for the telephone number of an area manager, who may be able to help, but she refused, saying it was confidential. I offered to give my phone number for the area manager to call me. However, Eleonora refused my request. She kept walking away from me whilst I was trying to speak to her. ........Eleonora could not be less helpful! She said, Argos would never have sent an iron out like that in such poor condition. She just wouldn't hear my side from the moment she made up her mind against my explanation. I said I will refuse to leave until the matter is resolved. To this Eleonora said if I don’t leave the store (which was still open) she would call the police. I said, go on then call the police. Eleonora contacted the police. The police came and heard my side of the story. They were very understanding. However, they explained, being a civil matter, they would not step in. The police were duty-bound, they handed me my box containing the iron and escorted me out of the store. Whilst speaking with customer services, they advised me, I could just visit another store and try exchanging it there. Perhaps if I had been dishonest and just said the iron wasn't working properly, they would've just exchanged it. However, after this last visit, unless I get an apology from the store, I shall never set foot in another Argos again. £200 is a lot of money for me to simply lose. I purchased the iron in good faith. I have lost confidence in purchasing from Argos in future. I am very distressed. I am left with someone else’s old iron, which I am using for now, but when I save for a 'new' one, this is going in the bin. Argos Croydon Church Street have been totally unhelpful and unprofessional in dealing with this. I have since been in contact with Argos with my and have raised a complaint via Resolver. Also I have made a similar review on Trustpilot.

Ebay store sold a faulty TV as brand new. TV developed fault within less than five months - Argos Ebay only offered a partial refund. I have reported them to Trading Standards, Ebay and raised a dispute with my credit card. AVOID them is my honest feedback!

Delivery date of 7th June for fridge and washing machine . Message at 7.30 am to say fridge delayed till 11th June and washing machine till 25th June. Totally bad service and Christine on the online chat said the fridge was still due to be delivered on the 7th ( needless to say it did not arrive ) 1 totally wasted day off work ! Now given delivery "slot ???" Of 7am to 6 PM on the 11th and presumably will be the same on 25th !! Despite the argos delivery saying a 4 hour delivery slot not an 11 hour one ! Would I order white goods from argos again ? No !

Good while things are going well, bad company if you have any issues. Customer service is appalling. Have made 11 contacts so far chasing the £10 voucher when you spend over £100. Have been dealing with the issues for over 5 weeks. Every advisor will palm you off, they have system of escalation nor do they have an email address, so you have to keep speaking to the unhelpful assistance over and over again via live chat/Facebook messenger. Ignore promises off good will gestures also as they will never be recieved.

Argos asked for review of Rattan Effect Stacking Chair - Dark Grey My review below was rejected "Unfortunately we could not publish your review as it did not meet our guidelines" Risk of Injury I bought 4 of these ,light weight and look good. Ist day some guest came and a very slim guest sat on one of these(No bending, twisting or leaning etc) and this chair broke at leg to chair junction. Luckily person did not fall and although a bit of skin trapped and hurt but no major injury. It could have been worse if somebody a bit heavier was sitting.Packed and returned next day . Still looking for some sturdy plastic chairs. I can not find anything in review against guideline except that this is true picture of product.(had attached two pictures of the broken chair as well) Guidelines are copied below We encourage you to resubmit your review on Argos Home Rattan Effect Stacking Chair - Dark Grey keeping it informative, product specific and not including: Personal information: protect your identity Prices, offers or links: which are subject to change Mentions of other companies or websites Other inappropriate or unhelpful content Now i have lost trust in all the review on argos site.
