Disrespectful company! I ordered a washing machine and it is delivered as damaged. Requested change and it has been 2 weeks that I am waiting for the delivery team to collect the faulty product and deliver the new one. They don’t give a time window for delivery and make you wait at home all day. Additionally, they kept me waiting all day and didn’t complete the delivery twice. Today the customer service said that they couldn’t deliver due to it’s out of delivery hours after 5pm and booked it for next week. Even it’s their fault they give the next available date next week. In this respect it is going to be my 4th week that I am waiting for a delivery and they have no other solution. I was ok to bring my faulty product back but they say the warehouse is not open to public. I don’t know how people cope with this system. If you order anything from argos you may have to spend a few weekends at home to wait the collection of any faulty item. Don’t order big items from Argos. They are terrible at managing deliveries. It was my last ordering. Unbelievable!!

Ordered 2 items, they left them in front of my door on 2 different days. One was stolen and the one i got was missing an item. I had to talk to few different people and explain to each one that the order wasnt delivered. It took a couple of days for them to send me the replacement, even though they assured me every single day it will be in my house by the end of the day. They refuse to send me the missing part because the order has been delivered. What a ridicoulous argument. Online orders are supposed to be a convinience and not a hassle.

Argos c/s is soon bad, I wrote to the CEO, and the reply said that he had read my complaint yes right!!!!!!. if he had it would have been taken seriously. I recently purchased a washing machine from Argos, and paid for it to be connected. Argos arranged for AO to do the connection. The first one was faulty so they provided another one. AO fitted this one. This time the AO fitters broke my dishwasher in the process. I arranged for an independent technician to check what had happened and he said that the fitters had crushed the water outlet pipe to the dishwasher and blew all the switches. So I need a new dishwasher. Argos made me contact AO to sort it out? 28 days later AO and Argos are not accepting any responsibility. So I'm stuck with no dishwasher and out of pocket ? All I did was buy a washing machine and end up with no dish washer. How bad is that. Maureen J Edgar

Ordered an expensive camera for click and collect. Got an email a few hours later saying "sorry you cancelled" and no more information. I did not cancel and had no idea what happened. I tried to speak to Argos staff but got no where. Now the transaction has completed and my money is gone. Argos staff are now blaming my bank and refusing to help.

Minus 10 Stars For Stress Paid for a delivery of a large item. Waited. No contact as promised from the driver. Time slot expired. Tried to call costumer services but was thrown into Argos' digital automated maze - was cut off. Tried calling again - exasperated - managed to speak to a human being - the call dropped again. Phoned again. Impossible to speak with a human being. Eventually spoke to a human being. Without being informed my order was rescheduled for the evening. I was never contacted about this. As it stands - I may or may not receive my order tonight. Laurel and Hardy level customer service that secretly mocks the customer. For decades I've purchased items from Argos without incident. This is the very last time I use Argos.

We bought a Samsung RR39M7140WW/EU Fridge. It was very expensive, but while it lasted. Then, just after a year later, it stepped working. It's still under guarantee, but Argos/Samsung don't plan to send an engineer for 2 to 3 weeks. What on earth is the point of that? The food is rotting at 15 c , and Argos really couldn't give a toss. Absolutely useless. We will have to get a new one and sue them for cost. Better to spend a bit more somewhere like John Lewis- at least if it goes wrong you know they'll fix it.

Argos get negative reviews removed from trust pilot. So they can spend money stoping complaints but not to make their sces better. 3rd product that stop working after just one month!

Ordered a fridge freezer supposed to be delivered 04/09/23. Waited in all day to be told at around 5pm it wasn’t being delivered. 05/09/23 waited in all day again to be told they tried to deliver and I wasn’t home, I didn’t leave the house at all (lies) It’s now 07/09/23 and no fridge freezer still it’s supposedly coming tomorrow we will see. The delivery driver who rung me was very rude and would not give me his name to make a complaint against him, he then hung up the phone! Unacceptable my son has just gone back to school and we have no fridge/freezer.. How is he supposed to take his packed lunch ? It’s a joke and I will never use the store again! I would advise anyone else to go elsewhere not happy at all!

Just checked my online account to find my order placed on Wednesday 30/08/2023 to be delivered today 01/09/2023 cancelled - not by me - contacted local store to be told you had a technical glitch - have to say not impressed - no email to tell me it was cancelled either - apparently this was also due to a technical glitch. Have to say that since Argos stopped the catalogue I have rarely purchased from you as i cannot find things as easily in the online shop. Very disappointed 😔

Poor faulty product support. I bought a Bush WDSAE86W 8KG/6KG 1400 Spin Washer Dryer - White - 932/7801 with extended 3 year guarantee. One of the main reasons is the machine is very shallow, i.e. depth as l have the outlet pipe at the back of where it needs to go. It was delivered but in less than 2 weeks it developed a fault. I rang the 'under one year guarantee engineer/call out support line'. They took my details and wanted 3 pictures of the machine front, back and side. I thought this odd. I sent photos and contacted them again and they said it was not covered because it was in a steamy environment i e a bathroom which it wasn't. They quoted chapter and verse from the manual 'dos and dont' page on why they would not honour the guarantee. It was in a small utility room with a space saver toilet. I tried to explian this and say it was vented. They weren't having it and transferred me to the after sales team. They listened to what l had to say and offerred a refund, repair or replacement. Why is it there are 2 diametrically opposed sides to Argos customer service? I took the replacement. Its working fine. My concern here is whether the after sales repair/enginneer support team (Domestic & General insurance) and Argos will honour my quarantee if l need it in the next 3 years. The engineer support team is operating 'sharp practices'. Also what if you are not tech savvy and can't supply electronic photos what happens then?. It is discriminatory in this regard as well and would be very stressful if you are elderly. The requirement to supply photos to them has the prime purpose of trying to find a way to not honour the guarantee - beware! blinking sharks. I wonder if my extended guarantee will now be honoured if l have a problem. Also, when l rang to register the replacement machine with the helpline (which is operated General & Domestic ins) they were curt and tried the hard sell for me to buy other appliance insurance which l declined! I am very disappointed with this inconsistent and very poor customer experience. Update: Argos will not let me post a version of this review on thier site. I think this is disgusting behaviour.

I was really disappointed of Argos because recently their policy has turned into deception of customers by putting some clearance discount an unavailable items which had never existed at any branches around the UK to attract people to buy something else. This is clear deception with a sly manner… But remember most of people are not idiot to get fool😡😡

I don’t want or expect any of your employees to be disciplined, I’d rather that staff were given deaf awareness training. Two days ago I went to my local Argos store to pick up a pre paid order. I was asked for the relevant e mail details and began to say out loud the numbers that your assistant needed. As I spoke the numbers out loud your assistant said , “I’m just here you know”. I was embarrassed because I have , at times, a loud voice. This is due to me being profoundly deaf and not being easily able to realise how loud I can be. Suffice to say that as I felt truly humiliated , I will never use the Argos pick up service again. I have thought long and hard before sending this email but, for myself and other deaf/ hard of hearing customers, I felt I must inform you of my distress. Be aware that yes, I am an older customer but I am not a fool. I still have feelings that can be hurt. Thank you for taking the time to read this email and should this not be the proper department, would you please pass my comments on to the proper department. Thank you Sent from my iPhone

Refused me a refund for a damaged laptop and accused me of damaging it. Got my money back via a bank "cash back" process. The fact Argos refuse to be regulated by an ombudsman speaks volumes. Disgusting, greedy firm that deserves to go out of business.
