"Argos they don’t proof series number on IPad or I phone then if something broken on your IPad you not cover by insurance Don’t buy IPhone or IPad from Argos without insurance from them if you insurance with another company you want be cover as you don’t have proof with serious number"

Visited Argos Stafford for a parasol, they didn't stock it but was available at an Argos 90mls away, wanting to pay there & then for them to have it delivered to them, so I could pick up another time, they said not possible? But could have home delivery (I'm on a boat on holiday on the canal) I live in Cornwall. No wonder companies are going to the wall.

I bought a vax blade .first the charger stopped working . Now the battery will not charge. This is less than 3 months old . Argos tell you to contact vax . Vax tell me to wrap it in cardboard and send it back. Now I have to runaround to find cardboard to help them. Vax and Argos I should not have to runaround for your faulty product !

I bought an xbox elite joypad from argos stockton on tees store , i had purchased the wrong one for my son so took it back with proof of purchase . The lady on the desk took it all out the box, played with it then explained that with it been expensive she would need to get a manager to check it over . The manager came over! face full of attitude and eyes rolling that fast that at one point i thought they were guna roll out the sockets . she then started playing about with it . for her then to turn around and say you are not getting a refund because it has been used . i asked her to explain how she knew it had been used ,she turned it backwards amd said "look the lights are on ,so it has been charged " when questioned what lights she was talking about ( there is no lights on it ) she just proceeded to put it back in the box to then say "look it has finger marks on " you will not be getting a refund from here or anywhere else !! The finger marks were obviously off her and the other lady ! I was left embarrassed and angry at the way i was tret! ...i wrote a letter to head office and thankfully they refunded me the money i was owed . However i will never return to that store ,the staff are a joke and need some training in customer service

Awful,waited all day for a delivery that I was told by online chat was definitely arriving .it didn't. Then spent half an hour on phone to them to be told there was a computer glitch.i was sent a £10 gift card as compensation which was out of date.now all they are offering is a £10 replacement gift card after their errors.i spent over £300 in a month with them.well I won't be spending anymore ,I will go elsewhere,where customers are treated well !

bought a cheap nokia phone online from argos. rang them 3 times when it went wrong {not from the nokia} each time said they would call back never did. filled in a survey same thing. they say should deal with nokia but i bought the phone from argos so my contract is with them.lost my future custom , just bought a tv from currys hope they are better

Don’t buy electronics from this place. Say you have a one year guarantee however after you call after having the product a few months they advise you to call the manufacturer and take no responsibility. Well done Argos for false information and take ownership for your mistakes !!! DONT BUY FROM HERE

Bought an ottoman bed that has given me serious back pain. They used cheap plastic and wood to make the bed. All the plastic has broken and now the only thing that holds my bed together is the damned wood. Very disappointed.

After placing a £400 order that they didn’t receive yet did receive payment for, I was told to reorder it at another cost of £400. After doing this on the assumption that the money would be reimbursed, both orders failed yet £800 was taken from my account. All helplines advice was conflicting, blaming each other for incorrect information, as well as ending the calls/live chats for no reason. After having to resolve the £800 lost with the bank as Argos were so unhelpful, they still have not provided any alternative method to ensure the order, leaving me in shock at the complete incompetence of such a large retailer, who clearly have no interest in customer service.

Bought a faulty mobile online on 17th June 2018 via paypal. Refused refund at castle court store & accused of lying. Rang Argos & mobile was collected on 21/06/2018. It's now 17th July and I'm still waiting for my money. FUMING AND NEVER BUYING FROM ARGOS AGAIN!

I have ordered a bed frame and matress 2 weeks ago for my new unfurnished house. Argos called me last Saturday ( after 2 weeks of waiting ) and said there is a delay in my order and I have to wait another 2 weeks. Because of them I would have to sleep on the floor for approximately 2 weeks ( if they deliver items on time otherwise I could be even more). If I new it ealier I could find reatiler who could delivery it on time now its too late !!! It was my last time with Argos. Not recomended at all!!!

I purchased a Nokia 7 on the 3rd of which was being advertised with a free gift. Today is the 16th of July and they are just pushing me around. Be aware if you see any Argos promotion with promise of a free gift you will never receive it just a trap for you to buy. I have provided them with copy of my receipt and IMEI number of the phone they are just refusing to respond. They take advantage of you and rip you off very untrustworthy.

On 28th April 2018 I decided to purchase a new Samsung 55MU6220 55 inch curved 4k UHD smart tv with HDR. To say this was the start of a process that can only be described as a nightmare is an under statement. When completing the purchase under the `special offers and frequently bought together` there was an offer if you bought the sound bar listed, namely a Samsung HW-K335 120 W 2,1 ch sound bar with sub woofer. you could claim (after 30 days from purchase) £200 cash back from Samsung. I hadn't thought about purchasing a sound bar, but the offer seemed really good so I decided to purchase the specified model. The first issue I had was the sound bar would not connect wirelessly to the TV. I contacted Samsung Support for advice and was told this was because the model of TV I had purchased didn't have blue tooth. I contacted Argos as the TV purchased clearly stated on your web site that the TV did have Bluetooth. I was advised the description would be amended. I explained that I now would need a cable to connect the sound bar and requested one be delivered to me free of charge. A cable was delivered but it was the wrong one, so I had to go and purchase the correct one from my local store. At the end of May, 30 days after I purchased the TV and sound bar, I submitted a cashback claim to Samsung. Between this date and 23rd June I submitted the documents they requested as evidence on 4 separate occasions - on the first 3 occasions they said they were blurry! I finally received a response to say that `the model sound bar purchased is not a qualifying product....and I won`t receive the £200 cashback. This whole process has left me extremely angry, I purchased the TV and Sound bar in good faith, as described by Argos, and as part of a cashback promotion advertised by Argos. Argos is guilty of mis description in terms of the TV and cashback promotion. They are now asking me to provide evidence of the promotion - unbelievable!1 Don't buy from them !

I bought a Fitbit from Argos Gypsy lane Luton in March this year, the strap has Brocken off the main watch, I went back o them and showed it to them, all they could say that it was my fault and they even accused me of braking it on purpose, I called Fitbit how were very happy to send me a strap replacement. I will never ever go back to Argos again, and I will Make sure I discourage all my friend from going to them.

I've been waiting for collection of bed frame and mattress topper for a whole week now! Every day Argos Customer Care team is assuring me that the collection will happen EVERY SINGLE DAY the same thing!!! Then nobody ever comes!!! I am rushing after work and spending the whole evening at home as if I don't have anything else better to do with my life! They lie constantly that the collection man came but he couldn't reach me which is an ABSOLUTE lie! Never purchase ever again with them! Such a lying company with No Customer Care whatsoever!!! Still no solution to my problem! The items are still not collected and I will be away from tomorrow so I literary don't know what to do anymore!!!

Bought a bush tv a year ago, it failed to start up half way through warranty so contacted bush who exchanged for another tv, supposedly like for like, had that only 3 weeks and it wouldn't start properly and put itself on constant standby. Was told by bush to take tv back to Argos with receipt and their reference number for a replacement. Argos completely refused said that the tv I was returning was not the same type and not even a smart tv. They kept my old receipt and told me to not bother to try and bring tv back. Ended up taking the tv to the tip. 1) the tv was still under its year warranty 2) I had the original receipt 3) bush had exchanged the tv for one that was supposed to be the same 4) I had the bush reference number 5) I was shown up in the Argos store.
