1st of January 2018 disappointment by Argos, purchased a Ring Doorbell and went to sheffield Angel street store to collect my fast track order few hours later. I was told the order was cancelled due to price error. At least call or txt your fast track order customers if they are cancelled and stop wasting our time. I also part paid it using a voucher and I was told I can't use voucher again for another 10 days.

Do not purchase sliding wardrobes from Argos. Ours have fallen apart after 5 months. We purchased 16 doors etc. They lie as well. A person called Debbie said we could return them and now they deny this. Do not buy sliding wardrobes from Argo. Dg

I got iPhone X from Argos, but there no IMEI numbers on the receipt. Some one lost or stolen them mobile, they couldn’t get insurance claim. Because argos receipts no one will trust. Be careful.

I ordered 3 items. 2 items arrived and the delivery driver said they couldn’t send out the third item as it was damaged but assured me it was fine and it would be delivered the next working day. Low and behold I’ve waited in all day and no delivery, went onto live chat and spoke with Edward. He advised me it’s not even been shipped and I should contact them again? Ridiculous service, requested a refund and in future I will never be purchasing anything again from this company. Rude Staff and customer service is shocking.

Went in to the northfield branch to buy my daughter a ring for Xmas I had seen online. Sales man there was rude couldn't care less if he served me or not after requesting several different rings I was told everyone I asked for was out of stock how he knew I don't no because no checks were made I eventually left without making my purchase the northfield staff are generally rude unhelpful and really do need retraining in customer service this has been reported to argos head office

Brought a single mattress protector in error but didn't realise till I opened. Return to store to exchange for correct one only to be told No as I had opened it. I appreciate hygiene issues but was i served by the same lady and everything I purchased was for double bed which can seen on the receipt. Also was obvious it had not been used. Spent £1000 in there this month and will not be returning there as this is bad customer service.

Treated poorly, no assistance when delivery went wrong, paid my money, no goods received to date & awful customer service when phoning them for help, just fobbed off about it being out their hands and to take it up with the courier. Disgusting attitude since I didn't choose the courier, my contract and payment was to them.

WE DON'T RECOMMEND ARGOS YOU GONNA BE DISAPPOINTED!!!! BAD SERVICES AND QUALITY!!!! I made a order around £1500 and we paid choosing a day for delivery and I'm very disappointed,one of the products broken another one cracked and we ask to replace it,they rebooked our order and we wait in that day to received but they cancelled and rebooked for 1 week later and aswell in that day when we suppose to receive finally our delivery they send me email saying is cancelled.WE DON'T RECOMMEND ARGOS,disappointing service and quality!!!!

Argos are a bad company, expensive too. Did you know they sell older models of items like laptops etc, which they buy up from manufacturers at knock down prices, and then sell them at inflated prices? Much the same as pc world. Oh, and many others. The moral of this story? Shop elsewhere. They are no cheaper on Ebay either.

I ordered an iPhone X in november and I still haven't received it . They lied about dates, after some delays they told me I would have my phone before Dec 15th . Now they are telling me that there was a problem with their site and I am going to have my phone until 30th . Besides they ruined my Christmas , they don t respect their promises. A bunch of liars!

Spent £250 on tablet exactly 1 year ago. As I was a week out of Warrenty they would not consider the diagnosis OF THE MANAGER AT PC World. The digitiser had completely gone. I am on benefits,pension credit, and do not have the money for a written report , plus I am stuck at home, my tablet and telly are my life as it is now,.They said, no report no help. The Agos manager couldn't have cared a less. I cannot afford to buy a new one. Rotten purchase. NEVER BUY REFURBISHED AT ARGOS! Lonely Christmas for me. ARGOS...I recommend everyone "stay away"

Awaiting for delivery of 2 chairs first date cancelled called my landline once and didnt attempt to try again so left waiting for them to arrive athos then rebooked for tonight between 5&9had email about 1.5 hours ago to say its on its way 10pm now and guess what no delivery this happend to me last year as well my adbise folks take your busdiness elsewhere these guys really do not care about your plans and inconvienence no attempt of communication i will now cancel these items and my long standing account there are better compamies out there that ate far more competent Disapointed is an undet statement

Please do not depend on argos. I ordered a unite from argos they gave me a delivery date and time slot. Time slot was changed. They didn't arrive on second time slot. Delivery man called to say he would be with me shortly but delivered to wrong address. Now argos are saying my unite has been sold and is now out of stock won't be able to get one till 23dec really upset as I had been warned by family member they had terrible problems over a micro wave and ended up cancelling.

I waited in all day and then when all the other shops were closed you text me to tell me that you were not coming. I would have preferred to know that whilst I had the opportunity to purchase my items elsewhere

Whole van of orders was stolen by a Yodel driver. Customer service repeatedly lied to me about sending a replacement and would not cancel order. Had to constantly chase them and chase Yodel myself. Live chat is incredibly unhelpful. Thought I’d finally got somewhere over the phone, only to find I was lied to again - there were no notes on the system about the “fast tracked” tv I was promised. I was passed around from department to department, told to phone to speak to a manager who didn’t exist. No phone calls or emails as requested. Compensation voucher mysteriously has never arrived. I sent an email to complain, with no reply. No help whatsoever. I have ordered over 300 times from amazon with no issues. I’ve ordered once from Argos and it’s been the worst shopping experience ever. Still waiting for £350 refund. AO.com offer order tracking. Amazon have Prime delivery. I would recommend any of those as they have great service and actually help their customers.

I placed an order and paid for it to pick up from a local shop. I was unwell and couldn't pick it up so they cancelled my order! I didn't get a notification that it would be cancelled or a reminder to pick it up. They items are now double the price but wont honour the original order price! Terrible customer service and wont be buying from them again!

Purchased a cloth dryer and was told if i buy with insurance will cover if i change my mind to return after opening it. I opened it, did not like it took it to the argos who flatly refused to return advising need to take it to the same store and speak to the same person who had already let the store. Not going to waste my money again with these cones

Only given one star because zero wasn't an option.ordered two tickets for my granddaughter who was due to fly home to the USA. Was going to shop at local branch when husband broke his hip. So was dependent on their so-called next day delivery. Ten o clock at night, email to say unable to deliver. Next available slot, two days later. No good to me as they will be flying home! Cancelled. Will not use them again. Rubbish!

Order was a no show . Then order was incorrect . After trying to speak to someone helpful , spoke to almost every member of staff all said they would help all useless and passed on to yet another unhelpful member of staff . Refund was recieved only half the amount . Promised within 3 days the whole payment would be refunded . More calls more promises . 2 weeks later full refund was recieved . Useless

I wouldn't even give a 1! Absolute joke from initial pick up to aftercare. Sent two left doors on a wardrobe (holes in for handles ), asked to drive to York to pick up replacement , explained I couldn't as wouldn't fit in my car, the most abrupt man in customer services told me I had too or I wouldn't get a replacement . I asked to speak to his money to be told I wasn't in a position to dictate his job. I asked him his name and he told me to fxxk off and ended the call. I will never ever deal with this company again , I use AO.com , excellent customer service . Argos , you are a shambles , I advise training your in store staff who couldn't help me lift the item into my trolley as all staff were on their breaks even though I had my two young kids on my own and sacking that rude disgusting man. I ended up having to put two new door handles on and transfers to cover the existing holes. Not only that , the product was badly made and quite frankly bad quality . Never ever again
