I needed a product replacement for a faulty foot stool that’s wooden leg has become loose. A collection and delivery was arranged for 20/12/19 since argos couldn’t replace the leg alone. I received 3 consecutive phone calls from an Argos delivery driver asking for directions on how to find my road. He told me he was in the area but could not find “the road”. When I called him he said he was “nearly three”. Nearly there turned into 10 mins. If he was where he said he was it would’ve taken him 2 mins. When I tried calling him again he didn’t answer his phone. He never showed up. Understandably, I was livid. He’d lied to me and didn’t have the courtesy to apologise for his own stupidity and incompetence. I called customer service and explained the situation, but was told that my order was still out for delivery despite the stupid delivery driver going awol. I tried to reschedule another date but was told to call the next day. I did and was told no dates were available and Argos would give me a call once dates were available. But I know they’re fobbing me off because I made a formal complaint. They even tried to say there was nothing they could do for me because it exceeded 30 days. I can’t go in store to sort it out because I am sick and disabled. Having to deal with these robots in customer service has caused me emotional distress to the point where I haven’t eaten since yesterday. I will never shop from here again. There are better, more reliable stores with products that actually are in stock and they don’t try to sell you torn boxes and used rejected products either.

The after sales service is a joke. I am currently in legal battles with Argos due to a faulty washer dryer that they refuse to take responsibility for which had faulty dangerous wiring in and could have caught a light. They refused me a letter of deadlock. They lied twice about speaking to the repair company “domestic repairs ltd” and blaming myself for the installation. To this day they refuse to reimburse me or compensate me for the machine, my high abnormal energy bill caused by its use or even my repair bill or correspondence. To all head office staff and “customer service” staff at Argos I wish you good luck with the legal battle, you are going to need it.

Customer service . Waited for about 10 minutes staff are rude and some of them don’t know what they are doing. They talk a lot about their personal stuff. Don’t care whether the customers are waiting for their product.

Appalling customer service. Don’t buy anything for your kids for Christmas as it won’t arrive and they won’t care. I can’t see this company carrying on long term

Purchased a fridge freezer on 29th november 2019, scheduled delivery for 16th December 2019, it never turned up. Spoke to someone on the live argos chat who basically told me she couldnt get hold of DHL so for me to do it myself and she ended the chat rather abruptly. I then phoned argos who also said the same, I asked for someone to phone me when they could find out what was happening and they said I'd have to phone them again the next day or phone dhl myself. My argument is if I've paid argos for an item surely it's there place to find it, not mine, they obviously think differently. Very dissapointed.

Faulty Christmas tree delivered, followed by a replacement of another faulty tree. Requested a refund and over two weeks later I am still waiting after receiving an email saying £0 had been refunded I queried this and was told to wait 5 days to see if the refund came through. It didn't and when I chased I received the same response. Now they say the refund has been issued and to contact the card supplier but so far have provided me with no evidence of the refund being issued to enable me to query this with the card company. I have shopped with Argos numerous times over the years and have spend hundreds if not thousands of pounds with them but never again.

I rang up Argos today to follow up an order we made and when it would be delivered. I was just explaining the details to him and unexpectedly he appeared to divert me to DHL!! I don't know if this was a mistake but either way I found this extremely rude and when I rung up to complain, the staff weren't very helpful claiming they could track who I spoke to. But after this experience I'm not sure if I'm going to order again from here!

I purchased a Ten Pound soft toy online to be collected in Britania Way Clydebank. I used my Argos card to pay for the purchase. I arrived at store with my text order and pin only to be told I couldn't pick up my purchase as I didn't have my Argos card but had my full account number on my phone and id. The store manager refused point blank to give me the toy. I returned home and canceled my order via phone as I was so angry. The refund was applied. As I was near the Drumchapel store 2 days later I ordered paid for another toy. I arrived inshore with my card ready and was not asked for it as I had already paid for my goods. The jumped up manager from Britania way Clydebank wanting to make himself feel important not only is an embarrassment to himself and his employer. He obviously was incapable of making an executive decision based on a £10 sale.

Terrible on line service. Awful. I ordered from argos and each time transaction failed despite there being sufficant funds in my bank. This also happen with argo a month earlier. My money has been taken off me and I have to wait 5 days to have it refunded before I can reorder. Its Christmas, I cannot afford to wait!!!! Argos management team are not accepting responsibility for anything. Terrible, I will not shop there again!!!!

Will never ever buy from them again. Ordered a camera to look for our missing dog. They advertised two very similar products. We bought the wrong one. No image on the box so didnt know until opened. Refused return on unused item with receipt. Left us uable to buy the correct camera after our dog missing from a horrific car accident. Will never buy from Argos or any of their sister companies

Only delivered half the order. They had no idea where the rest of the order was, and advised I should just keep going to Sainsbury (delivery point) for another 7 days. If it did not arrive I could then get a refund. Total Rubbish! Company run by morons who really do not give a damn about their customers

Shocking how dense customer service are. Someone quoted computer says no I 100% agree! An advisor firstly sent me on a wild goose chase after approx and hour arguing that although the item had been bought over a year ago, thus over warrentee! We had only opened an used it for eight! She then accused me of lying and said that you could have used it for longer. Wow. Just wow. We bought a chest of drawers for my daughters room. Although we bought it over a year ago we have only been using it for 8 months. The drawers have literally fallen off! Nothing they can do?! 😡 I didn't even want a new one or a refund, just a new set of runners to try and fix it! Only because the ones used on the chest of drawers are specific to it and we cannot buy. Pathetic! Rubbish customer service, rubbish product (Argos own), never again.

The delivery was a complete disaster. Following a missed timed delivery the driver miss truthed to us by reporting back he was being unable to contact us although he had phoned us earlier with an eta. They then said they couldn’t even attempt to deliver saying the road was too narrow! Rubbish, we have home removal lorries coming down here. The re arranged delivery was cancelled at last minute. However the next day day it turned up, unscheduled, and the excuse this time was that it shouldn’t have been cancelled. Beware of this company,

I’ve made order during Black Friday for PS4 Pro Bundle as a present for may nephew. After it hasn’t arrived I’ve contacted Argos support team and after spending almost an hour on the chat while I was redirected 5 times between different departments I was told that their system didn’t record this order and it will be cancelled and my money will be refunded in 5 to 10 days. They were quick to take money out of my account and now I have to wait for up to 2 weeks? Is this a joke? This is unacceptable this close to Christmas. Also all the deals are off now so I also have no chance to but this same bundle in reasonable price which leave little boy without his Christmas present. And what I’m most disgusted with is how Argos advisors handled this situation. I didn’t even get an apology just statement they’re aware its frustrating and trying to minimise such situations. This is not how you deal with customers for whom you just ruined Christmas. Shame on them and I don’t think I will be going back for more of your poor customer service.

Worst customer service I’ve received in years. Take your money through fast track, the order gets “stuck” or lost, don’t bother telling you and then when you try to collect it, change their story 5 times and refund a week later. all aspects of their service delivery including local store, online chat, customer service and Facebook messenger either misinform or fob the customer off. Then when they finally agree to raising a complaint, say you’ll not hear anything more about it cause of GDPR even though you’re complaining about their procedures and not specific staff. Anyone interested should read the recent visitor posts on their Facebook page to see how much Argos values their customers.

I bought present from Argos. Arrange delivery for exactly day I need it but I didnt get it. So cancel it and buy in shop another one. Next day they bring it to me, my miss didnt knew and took it. I try to talk to them to return it and get refund. I talk 6 times with different agent and all of them promise to do collection and refund money. But no action at all. Last time they even charge me pick up price but no one come.
