I'm really disappointed with the recent service received from Asda and given the nature of the purchase, angered by it also. On Tuesday 24th March 2020, I ordered a celebration cake, candles and sparklers for my partners upcoming birthday on Tuesday 07th April 2020. Order number 19579118014. To align with work I booked a delivery slot for Sunday 05th April 2020 between 7pm and 9pm. I received an order confirmation email straight after placing the order and awaited the dispatch note to arrive today (Sunday 05th April 2020). Only that didn't happen... To my utter surprise and disappointment, instead of receiving a dispatch email. I received an order cancellation email instead! After having a cry because I wanted to surprise my partner with a birthday cake as its his 40th and he hasn't had a cake since childhood, I took a look into it. According to my online banking, the money is still in the account and it does not even look like an attempt was made to take it! Not only that, but trawling through all my emails including the junk folder, if there was a failed attempt to take the money, there was no correspondence to me to indicate there was a problem with the order! As far as I'm concerned you saw the problem and chose not to inform me about it! If you bothered to communicate with me properly, I assure you, I'd of put it right straight away. Although highly upset by this, and debating whether or not to still go through the process of re-ordering from you, I still clicked the 're-book order' button found at the bottom of the cancellation email, in the hope that I may still be able to salvage something from this wreckage. It took me to my order which highlighted the supposed order issues. But also had a message that stated I had until 10pm on Saturday the 04th March 2020 to amend the payment to keep my order! This really angered me as it indicates a chance to put it right which you never bothered to make me aware of. Then to rub salt in the wounds further, your delivery slots are now booked out for weeks way surpassing my partners birthday. So your failure to give me the fair chance to keep my order means you have let me down entirely as I can't get anything delivered and I now only have 1 day to try and source something as I can't get to a shop today! Which is rediculous as in my mind I had this sorted over a week ago. Poor service, non-existent customer care. I can't trust in your company, and will sure as hell not shop with you again and if asked to give feedback, you can guarantee it'll be negative.

The delivery drivers could not even follow simple instructions, making excuses in order to cover his back. Definitely would NOT use ASDA again! Rather than ASDA, Sainsbury's and TESCO are much better...

The packaging was bad. 2 packs of fish with the delivery day being the use by day .They were in a carrier bag on their own . Fresh raw chicken placed in a bag with microwave food and vegitables .Bagels with a 1 day use by day . 2 kids easter eggs broken to bits as rattling around in box. I'm severely disabled and I actually do not want salmonella either. I phoned customer service I was promised a refund but I have not heard anything. I was surprised that customer service could not see my £75 order when i gave them my order number. Tesco and Sainsburys can and they can even take your shopping to the check out when I was having problems .

The Asda store in Oldbury are ensuring 2 metre social distancing outside is adhered to, however once you are in the store its a free for all as there is no process in place for social distancing. They have arrows on the floor directing you everywhere, so pretty pointless. The staff also not adhering to the 2 meter rule and although you have your space they dont seem to be bothered about their health or other peoples. My suggestion would be to shut shop and only offer delivery or click and collect service to prevent this from happening, however at the moment the click and collect or delivery is constantly sold out, which is slightly confusing due a large portion of the car park being blocked for click and collect and no one is ever in that section collecting....how many slots do you have if any???

Asda management are stupid, they were limiting the number of customers in store in Torquay last week but now they have reverted to letting all customers in, which makes a mockery of social distancing ,and there is no protection for the staff

My online shop was delivered with 19 items missing ? But they where happy to charge me for all these missing items ! Took a good few day untill I finally got my money back, if you don’t have the items fair enough I understand but don’t charge me for them ! You packed them and know what’s missing ? Also very p that ASDA has cancelled my recurring slots (no reason given or email of any kind to say so ?) My online shop is for my family AND for vulnerable people I shop for ! So just want to say thank you very much to Southport ASDA for putting vulnerable people in my family at risk now having to go out !

I have an delivery order online (I was Lucky to got one) but They don’t deliver my order only because can’t find my flat when they are already downstairs. When I was discussing my address with the driver who called Adrian, I saw his van already left without telling me. What the hell? No patient with customers? It’s special time for everyone, a lot of people stay at home while lockdown. The whole family are depending on this one delivery to live! And they have shown no responsibility to their customers! If ASDA keep doing this, I won’t order anything from Asda in the future. And I will ask all my friends to do the same. They don’t own our respect! And I tried to ask for redelivery, the customers service said they won’t deliver my order again. What? You kidding me? only because the driver doesn’t want to deliver? It’s so unprofessional!

Used Asda delivery as wanted to avoid the shops. All of the meat, bread and dairy products has the expiry date of today or tomorrow so a weeks food shop may be wasted as no space to freeze it. Butter tub was smashed to pieces. I will have to now got to store to get my food for the week. I know the pickers work hard but ffs these dates are ridiculous. Never again.

I work for a care home and for the past 5 years we have spent on average £800 a week with Asda. Since the crisis, we have been let down badly on the two deliveries that we have managed to get. One was £300 short on what we needed, and the second over £350 short. We cannot now even get a slot or order the number of items that we require to feed over 40 elderly and vulnerable residents. We are very disappointed that they have not prioritised a small nursing home, trying to feed it's residents and have limited us to the same limit as a domestic customer. We have had no choice than to move to a wholesaler and I am afraid that Asda have now lost our custom.

Felt the need to write this felt so disgusted with Asda. My cousin who is a nurse at NGH kindly got me a few items from Asda on Monday morning on her day off. She told me the upstairs in Asda was still open with plenty of people with children shopping this was so not necessary, I am aware the guidelines of what to do and what not to do have tightened since then but it was left to company’s to use there common sense and close the upstairs off as only food was important. Also she was very annoyed with a member of staff (very sorry she did not get a name) at the shop and go section who was annoyed at my cousin who asked her politely to allow her to pass without getting too near to her as she was talking to another member of staff, as my cousin was trying to follow the guidelines as best she could, when she finally got to pay help needed from a staff member for her to to complete the transaction, she clearly heard the staff member who had been rude to her say to another member of staff in not a nice tone of voice “ you can deal with her”. I was so angry when she told me what had happened, she is trying to help both me and my sister plus look after her own family on top of doing the demanding job like so many others. I really wish I knew the name of the staff as she ought to be ashamed of herself. Two very annoyed and disappointed customers of yours.

They simply CANNOT COPE with the internet shop -they blame internet providers for this - web breaks down all the time , can't get on the site ,they keep kicking out bits of order saying unavailable , but then when replaced them they go back in as available , but then they kick them out again and so you go on , can't get delivery slots at all as not listed as available in the time given and and none listed after that ,so nothing , if you do get an order slot , you cannot amend or you loose your slot , cant check out , all you get in trying to put in the CVv no is that there are postcode problems or statements that ASDA can;t retain the information , this can all take hours , can;t speak to ANYONE about the problems for hours on end , when you do you just get a a laughing woman who tells you everyone is having the same problems , they are simply not providing a service

Firstly i find asda a very dishonest, untrustworthy and liars, I have been shopping online with asda for almost 30 years, so a valued customer as far as im concerned, I made an online order on the 13th of March available slot was on 23rd march, so i thought ok have to wait over a week, thought no big deal beings i have had trouble buying from asda stores for the past 2 weeks previously due to shelves being empty and freezers empty of food despite working in the healthcare system, having diabetes and asthma i risked my health by going to my asda supermarket, anyway i checked every day to see how my online order was going everything fine untill the morning of 23rd march when my shopping was due, the £53 online order had gone down to £21, 38 items had gone down to 15 items, even my 1 each of toilet roll, bar of soap, washing up liquid, beans, tomatoes all became unavailable, i wasnt annoyed at that point untill 5 minutes after i looked on the website and they had the unavailable items in stock, what a disgrace, if anyone is making people panic buy it is asda as they seem to be holding back on essential items off the shelves, shame on you, to make matters worse they had taken my full £53 payment, can't get through to customer service, no replies on any of my 6 emails, i go back on my asda account and its asking for my full name and date of birth and the sort of card i used ??? This rings alarm bells in itself, so people BE AWARE!!! As for you asda you can wave goodbye to my custom now after almost 30 years for now and in the future, ASDA you need to remember, if it wasnt for customers there would be no ASDA!!! I am urging family friends and others to boycott, i will now shop elsewhere. Stay safe everyone.

Very bad!! Ordered a delivery on Monday, next available was for Friday, everything was fine all in stock. Come Thursday I receive an email that half of my shopping wasn’t available!! I wasn’t greedy I purchased 1 of everything I needed!! It was dried food!! Toilet roll etc (not fresh items) all these items were available Monday! So Asda must have given them to someone else Now Asda shouldn’t have taken my money Monday, to receive a message on Thursday no shopping!! And then have to wait for my refund. Disgusting.

I'm self isolated, underlying health issues in vulnerable group totally reliant on home delivery.went on line to place order with asda today at 3am thinking to avoid busy times to start site wouldn't let me text in items, after TWO hours I finally completed my list and available slot( which would expire at 6-18 am) after all the time trying to compile list I was unable to complete because it kept sati g sorry town or city does not exist.....errelevant because I was putting in my cvv number and as a longtime registers customer my details are automatic!! At 6-45 nearly FOUR hours later extra security info asked for via card issuer not automatically directed as at any other time when security is asked for told to phone card issuer!!! No shopping, complete failure by Asda and at a loss as how to get food, cats food,oh PS as I tried to complete my slot was cancelled...next available would have been 18th of april.! I'm not an impatient person, this is a war,but Asda you failed in your promise to provide and passed the buck back to me as a customer, perhaps you might be more efficient if you adopt Morrison's box policy?
