Driver snapped a blank photo said it was delivered and stolen the food. 62 dollars worth.

Here is one for the books! Ordered pizza via Amazon Prime/Grubhub program. Looked simple enough. The food I ordered totalled $62.99 and no delivery charges so I was happy at the time of ordering. The food was delivered on time and everything was there (only issue with the pizzeria was they forgot to hold the cheese on the sub which they always do). THEN I GET MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT AND SEE A CHARGE FOR $90.07! Upon researching, Amazon and Grubhub are in kahoots and add 40+% to the order line items to MORE THAN OFFSET the delivery costs. WOW! Upon questioning Amazon they could care less, the pizzeria gets its the $62.99 and they are happy, then there is Grubhub who banks the 40+% add-on and laughs all the way to the bank. The Amazon Prime people don't give a damn and point at Grubhub, Grubhub says they are doing no wrong by not disclosing the true prices that WILL be charged so they are happy, the Prime Chase people are useless because they say everyone is doing their job correctly. WHY DOES THE CONSUMER ALWAYS GET HURT? Greed has taken over our country to the point of total insanity. I ended up paying a illegal unauthorized upcharge of 40+% for pizza and can't do anything about it. Anyone want to start a class action lawsuit?

I am absolutely appalled by the service I received from Grubhub. Not only was my order completely messed up, but they also *stole money from my account*! I was charged for an order that never arrived, and when I contacted customer service, they were utterly useless and dismissive. Instead of resolving the issue, they kept giving me the runaround, wasting my time and patience. It’s infuriating to think that a company this size can't manage basic customer service or safeguard customers' financial information. I am extremely disappointed and will never use Grubhub again. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this platform unless you want your money stolen and to deal with horrible customer support.

This is the last time, we order anything from Grubhub. We ordered a pizza that was supposed to be here by 10:35 pm. We have tried to call the driver a couple of times, but she did not respond. We recieved a pop up picture that our ordered was delivered to us. The driver leaves the pizza on top of the lift arm gate for the property and never called or communicated with us. Totally unacceptable. Grubhub is not screening their drivers at all. This is not the first time, but my last time. I would not order anything from here ever. Look at picture attached....

I order food that was over an hour late. The food was cold, half off Houston is with power. I have not way to warm the food I ordered. The customer service lead should be demote very poor service. I wanted a hot meal if you didn't have drivers why take the order.

Absolutely terrible company. Driver said he delivered food, and sent me a pic of someone else house. I said you delivered it to the wrong house and he never responded back. Their customer service only said oh ok well we canceled it and refunded you and we will give you 60 days of grubhub+ Keep it, j will never use your service again.

My order today was canceled and I was told that they are going to give my money back in 3-5 business days and can't do anything for me. This is not the first time either. This happens all the time and they end up telling me that they are giving me a $5 discount code which wont do anything. Never received the order and have to wait for a refund. Do not order using Grubhub because there are no guarantees

The app showed driver on his way. I’ve waited an hour. Now, it says my order is in the works and will be here in another 45 minutes. I also do not like that I pay a tip on tax, delivery fees, and other fees. Unbelievable and unfair to Driver. Consistent poor customer service. There are other companies to choose from. I continually give this food delivery my business. Not any more.

No one ever reads the directions. And 9 out of 10 cant Even read them cause they speak and read only another language. Also the pics and name never match the delivery person. Christina is on image but Jose is the one dropping off? Foods always cold and good luck being compasated for their issues. I'm bout to cancel my membership and delete that app. No other app has this much issue but these fools get lost Everytime!

It was my first time using GrubHub. I received two separate text messages indicating my order would be late or later than expected not a problem no big deal but then when I get my order, it’s not correct. They delivered the wrong pizza. The driver must’ve turned my mother’s food upside down because it was leaking from the bag when we received it and when I tried to do online chat with customer service, it didn’t seem to work, you all charged a delivery free and then you charge a ridiculous amount for “operational” fees and then we’re expected to tip the delivery people. So by the time I finish paying all the fees and tip I end up paying another $15 for an order. Do not believe I will be using this service again.

Don't use Grubhub they steal your money as well as the person the worker who brings you the items that you buy from the store or restaurant they lie to your face and say they Dont have it because they Dont want to carry it. I personally suggest “UBER EATS” I'm not gone worry because I'm a child of God and they will get what's coming for them.

I work in a very oddly shaped large building with several entrances, unlike a standard office building that typically has just a front and back entrance for deliveries. That's why whenever I place a delivery order, I choose the 'meet in person' option and wait downstairs, in addition to providing instructions on how to find my entrance. Regardless, most of the time, the couriers deliver to the main entrance, which is fine because if they call me, I can just walk over to meet them there. I've never had issues with other food delivery services like UberEats or DoorDash. Today, I did the same with grubHub and specifically asked in the instructions to call me. However, the courier not only went to the wrong entrance but also just dropped off my order there and marked it as delivered. I contacted him but never heard back. There were no photos provided, which I always get from UberEats or DoorDash. I was looking for my order for almost an hour. Just after I got something else to eat, a lady from the same building called to let me know my order was left with her company. Even though grubhub refunded my order, the driver was horrible and didn't follow the instructions at all, so I won't use the service again. I deleted the Grubhub and Seamless apps.

We ordered 6 boxes of pizza. We thought that they gave an extra so we were happy… until we opened the box to find crusts from someone’s pizza COMPLETELY EATEN!!! Not to mention the driver of the food delivery car. We saw him outside EATING the pizza!!! Last time I EVER order from grub hub again!!! 🤬🤬🤬

I've only recently been standing up for myself on my orders that are contently missing items, or the quality of food is bad. I was so tired of wasting money, so I started to let GrubHub know every time anything was wrong or missing. Now my account has been escalated to a review and they won't even refund me for any items I actually paid for that was not in the order!!!! Nor bad quality of food. Which is not as bad, but if I PAID for an item that was not received, and they won't refund me, THAT IS FRAUD. I'm going to report them on any level I can find! Canceled my membership and will try Uber Eats.

I simply cannot overlook the fact that their customer service is horrid. Taking on charges to orders, sending them to the wrong location, and not allowing you to have a genuine resolution to your complaints. Not going to use them again and I recommend you do not either.

Upon accidentally ordering from them. I thought I had it “pick up” on Yelp, immediately I called the company to let them know it was an accident and that my husband was already a few minutes away to pick up our order seeing they are super close and fast when ordering from there. They absolutely denied to help us cancel the order that had been placed within minutes, and told us there was nothing they would do to accommodate. And we were more than welcome to leave a review, because “they accept all feedback”. The guy was very rude and condescending and was not willing to understand, listen or helping anyway. I will never make this mistake on Yelp again .
