Rudest delivery man ever. I’m disabled and he bellowed at me from the communal hall downstairs, told me I was lucky it was a small order or he wouldn’t be bringing it upstairs to my ACTUAL front door and then aggressively said he couldn’t deliver food into my bedroom?!?! As if I would ever ask or expect that!? Stupidest reply ever from Iceland to my complaint, telling me that drivers are not insured to enter premises - er, I’m fully aware of this -and ignoring the rudeness, shouting and appalling service that I experienced. How do other supermarkets manage to insure their drivers, train them not to be rude and to assist those who are disabled? Maybe Iceland should look into this. From their response to me, it’s clear that Iceland think that this delivery driver’s rudeness, arrogance and lack of helpfulness is acceptable behaviour. If you are disabled, elderly or expect decent service I suggest using a different supermarket. I think I’ll stick with Ocado; they bring bags into your kitchen and the delivery people are always charming and helpful. Strangely, they don’t have any issues with insurance...

Appuling service from Iceland online service and customer service on the phone! We ordered our shopping online and proceeded the the payment,we never got confirmation of the shop at all, I took the day off work and to my 'surprise' the shopping did not arrive, I then rang Iceland asking what has gone on! They said that the website must of had a problem and that they would return the money and it could take a few hours depending on our bank, 2 days later we still haven't got our money back, I rung them back today to find out that the woman on the phone LIED and the money had not even been sent back or arranged to be sent back, I'm still waiting now with a hungry family and hungry animals, with no money to go shopping because Iceland still have my money. I determine to take this further if the money isn't returned. No-one should have to wait over a week for a food or money back!! NEVER SHOP AT ICELAND THEY JUST ROB YOUR MONEY OF YOU WITH NO CARE IN THE WORLD!! THEIFS

Absolutely appalling customer service in Iceland Supermarket in Tooting. Cashier seemed very uninterested in working on the Till. He rang the bell to call the Manager/ Supervisor several times to get some help with price of an item. Nobody came, to his credit he went and looked it up himself, however, there was no please or thank you from him and when I suggested he should say please and thank you, he looked at me as if I had said a dirty word! I asked to speak to his manager and he rightly said that he had 'called' but nobody came (he didn't actually say those words, but that was the gist of what he said) I asked his colleague to ring the bell, but nobody came) I looked for another staff member and spoke to one who 'Claimed' to be a Manager and when I explained my complaint, he said he was upstairs, so either didn't hear the bell, or couldn't care. He said if I wish to complain I have to contact Customer Service. Unbelievable. I will NOT visit that Store again. Iceland, you should be ashamed of yourselves. All team members should be trained in old fashioned courtesy - it goes a long way, both with respecting others and also Iceland's reputation. If you believe in Customer Service, that is.

Overcharged me for 2 x pack of eggs when i only bought 1 pack. Went back and asked for my reimbursement. Treated me like a thief then checked CCTV only to find i was right and the cashier overcharged me. They didn't even apologise and displayed a very bad blaming attitude, as if I had done wrong by spotting the overcharge. Will never go back.

Ordered online for home delivery. Paid 2.29 for a bag of potatoes, but they were unavailable on the day of delivery. My bill clearly shows a charge of 2.29, but they refunded me 2.12. There was no promotional code relating to potatoes, just buy one for 2.29 get one for 2.29. Clustermuck Services replies range from "you were not charged for potatoes", to "the promo code reduced the price of each individual item in your order, so you only paid 2.12 for them". This is the one they are now sticking to, although there was no promocode associated with potatoes. I have asked them to tell me what code they used, and show me how they worked these figures out, but they are unwilling or unable to do so. They are also unwilling or unable to look at my bill and add the items up, which proves that I was charged 2.29, and received a refund of just 2.12. It is really sad to see grown people unable to think for themselves and just keep repeating what is in front of them even when there is a simple way to resolve this issue, I don't even mind if they use a calculator. The funny thing is, and they cannot work this out for themselves, that if I had not bought potatoes my bill would have not included 2.29 and therefore no refund. Well, I wont be shopping with them again, and I advise anyone who does to check their change.

Poor poor customer service . He never said a word to me , he was too busy talking to an other employee . He wasn't talking about work , some rubbish about loosing his temper if he was tired . I paid and he still didn't say anything , I would at least liked a thank you but not a word . Disappointed as there are some good people that work there , he really needs training in customer service .

Iceland Tolworth where the customer comes second. Usually one checkout open, long queues.People with a basket have to wait forever, behind a filled trolley, food already defrosting. Staff hide in the back, make it an Aldi or Lidl.

I made my first order on Thursday 28th June 2018 for next day delivery I thought that’s great. So I sat waiting for my order my slot was between 12-2pm but it never showed up I ran out to get my son at 3pm from school thinking maybe it will still show up I was back home by 3.10pm as my sons school is close but I had to call when I got home as there was no delivery and no contact to say they were coming or not or even been. When I called the the lady was nice but she told me the driver had already been and there was no answer I told her I’d been in all morning and even stayed in an hr after my slot. She said sorry the next slot is between 4-6pm when the man turned up he had no idea my shopping was late so no apology which I kind of understood because it was someone else but I thought they could have told him. Then opened my shopping to find my coleslaw was open and leeked on my milk and an item not available. This has put me off shopping at Iceland again I’ve contacted them and had no reply. Kerry unhappy shopper

An assistant, only her second day working in store, was left by herself to operate the only till open. So the queue with already 5 customers waiting grew and grew. Another till was eventually opened but ONLY when a customer asked why another till could be opened. By the time the second till was opened, the queue was practically twice as long.

I have used their delivery service for over a year. Their drivers are polite and punctual. The problem, is that the fresh food has only a few days left on the "best before date".Iceland customer help were notified but it occurred again the following week. Just not good enough.

I have spent thousands of pounds with Iceland Foods. Over the last 6 months they have failed to turn up at least 10 times, sometimes an excuse given, but today for the last time they have not even given us a reason. I called customer services at head office, to be told they could not reach the store (I expect because it's closed) and they would call me in the morning to let me know what was going on. If you order from ASDA, Tesco or Sainsburys or the like, if they are to cancel for any reason ot if they intend to be late, they call you and let you know. So Iceland why can you not do the same? I love Iceland Foods for value and for the quality v the value. Problem is when they don't deliver, you may as well go elsewhere as anything is better than nothing, right? I don't understand how they can refund so many customers and not learn from their mistakes, surely there is a regional or area manager somewhere looking at all of the refunds, you could be making double what you make by just getting things sorted. I have no trust in Iceland. they also breach the Data Protection Act when they bring you a paper to sign for your food, it has the names and full address of a number of other customers.
