Other cars were arriving as I waited nearly eleven a staff member told me that the store was not opening until one I told him, it said online eleven. To which he replied it times were up on the door and I informed him , it’s hard to see the door when the shutters are down. Get your act together Lidl it is not good enough poor management and lack of planning and good customer service. Customer do not want to be driving quite a distance to be let down.”

“Lidl's Aldershot, Hampshire branch. Firstly, I must praise the store Manager Kripa - 5-stars. That's why I am prompted to post. Hardly ever spoke to her before. On 10.08.2021, she handled brilliantly an issue I had: calmly, politely listened, and then she logically addressed it, working with me, proving it was not related to the store or Lidl. That was very important. I have been shopping there since it opened. Never had to shop elsewhere if I could get the product quality and price there. ONLY after 3-4 weeks of no deliveries to the store, today I went and purchased bleach 2L elsewhere. Other staff I spoke to earlier on the matter have been good too. 17 or 18.08.2019, another member of staff evidently had 'clocked off' but still stopped to help me. A few years ago I saw someone doing a very diligent job, prompting me to say, "Where is the Manager when you need one?", meaning to see her do such a good job. Back came the reply, "I am the Manager." She is still there. Sorry, I can't post my name.”
“Purchased BBQ pork rib rack! Didn't realize it would need 1 and half hours cooking, then a further 20min !!! And still another 10 minutes before serving. After all that serves 3 people. Your having
a laugh hardly enough for two. Come on Lidl bin this product.”
“I purchased a quiche Lorraine yesterday, as I always do when doing my shop, they are usually delicious. However, on this occasion they were full of lumps of fat - disgusting. Standards are dropping. The staff & service is good, but it's the food that's letting lidl down.”

“I recently purchased a carton of Newgate gravy granules and was so disappointed with this product I ended up throwing it out, not only was there no flavour but the granules themselves only partly dissolved leaving gravy still thin and lumpy.”

I’m vegan so it would be good to have more selection but the fruit and vegetables are great!
I buy the Alpro plant based chocolate but have to buy the Vanilla elsewhere and it’s more expensive so please could you stock it as well?
Also vegan Magnum ice cream!!!

“Almost got into a fight with a member of staff, after he started mouthing off to me as I was walking out of the store. This isn't what I would expect, when going for a night out, let alone trying to buy some groceries.
This happen at the Loughborough, Leicestershire store on Saturday 26 June 2021 at approx 21:45. Judging by the reviews written here, it would appear that they do employ a lot of aggressive louts.”
“Work for Lidl and starve!
Lidl deducted the whole of a months salary from a warehouse worker without any notice, leaving them penniless. The employee only found out about the deduction when he went to pay for lunch at the warehouse canteen. When contacting his bank he found that his wages were not paid in. Querying this with management he found that Lidl claimed it had overpaid him 10 months ago and was deducting the monies "owed" (a whole months wages) now. He didn't even have the cash for transport home. Management response "Not our problem file a grievance report" No money for food, rent, energy let alone money to get to work. Is this an example of a good company or one that is not fit to work for?”
“Virtually none existstant customer service. Made a warranty claim and Lidl think it's acceptable for me to wait 3 months for a replacement! Only time they will reply in a decent time is if you complain about them and that's only to refute your accusation, not to actually sort your problem out. Lost my custom.”
“Lidl used to be my favourite. Yesterday I went to the Swansea Parc Tawe store and manged only a 2 out of 7 fulfilment. That's the worst in any supermarket ever for me. Large areas of empty shelves, many lines out of stock or disappeared, tins of peas spread across 3 shelf sections to disguise other missing items. This the new store and it has been a disappointment from the day it opened, bleak and unfriendly with a poor fulfilment record.
I spoke to a staff member "It's due to Covid". Really, well it ain't happening in Tesco, Sainsbury or Aldi so I don't believe that. It feels like a new Financial team insisting on faster stock turn or some similarly unsuitable management policy change.
I tried to post a feedback on their website. Their feedback page crashed my browser. No surprise there then.”
