“I had a quality issue with my shoes a metalic piece come lose in the back hurting my foot an obvious quality defect that I did not contribute. The shoes were not new normal wear and I went back after more than a year to the store where I purchased Oakville Burloak plaza - I found two young ladies one was the actually store manager willing to help me she spend 30 minutes on the phone explaining my issue getting approvals etc at the end I was able to pick a new pair which make me really happy to see that Sketchers employs great ppl that actually care and also they are recognizing issues and manage correct issues with products. Great day thank your for employing great talent it is rare to see such dedication and passion for customer service. They absolutely made my day ! Way to go Skechers!”
“I was a brand loyal customer to Skechers Alley Cat and Tom Cat for 15 years . So durable as I work on concrete floors .
As of the past 3 years all pairs I have purchased have had failures in the leather upper . The last pair of Alley Cats have the surface peeling off in just 2 months of semi- regular wear .

“Shoes fit perfectly in a store, very soft and comfortable. However after using them only for a week left insole start to relocate and wear off. There are wear holes around heel area only one week of use! One week! I used them with brand, new socks, no running, just slow 2 mile walks! Photos below.

“Comfort is the only reason I buy sketchers 2 pair twice a year. As of this week I will no longer be a customer. The issue isn't the Sketchers it's the customer service. I bought two pairs on 3/25/25 and had to return or swap out a pair due to size. I was told I had to pay 10.85 for the exact same shoe but one size larger. I had just received a 10 dollar discount from Sketchers. I have no problem paying 10 dollars more for them, when i bought them not to swap them. Called customer service and they said i would have to deal with the store i bought them from. If 10 dollars means that much more than your customers then I will find another brand to buy.”
“My bad experience was today 3/26/25 @7:12pm store #00541. Pearlanf Tx. I took my 76 year old mom to buy shoes which she bought 6 pairs and both sales associates working were very rude! The young man was not friendly at all and when ask for help seemed very bothered then the cashier lady was very unpleasant I told her it seems like no one smiles here she responded “that’s just our faces” I asked her for there names since she didn’t have a name badge on and she responded “ we are not allowed to give our names” she was a young woman (assoc:130471) Both of them made our experience unpleasant and we still bought 6 pairs of shoes! Please train them to give better customer service!!”
“I bought a pair of sketchers, the hands free ones, I wore them to work today and they hurt my feet so bad.They are the worst shoes i have ever had on my feet. I called sketchers to see what they could do about it and they offered me a thirty five percent discount on another pair so buyer beware!!!!”
“11 months ago i purchased a pair of Skechers shoes (Go Run) and was disappointed with the quality. The sole's gum is not strong, causing it to wear out quickly. The overall build of the shoes feels subpar, especially considering the brand's reputation. I expected better durability and comfort, but unfortunately, these shoes did not meet my expectations. Skechers should improve the sole quality to ensure better longevity and value for customers. And should replace this pair of shoes.”
“Don't know about their other models, but the Slip-Ins are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, even with my orthopedic inserts, and I'm 74.
They have many different styles and colors, I own 3 pair, and may buy more in the future.”
“I bought the sketchers zip up work shoes and they are the most uncomfortable work shoes o have ever wore. I’m on my feet 10 hours a day on concrete and I have tried 5 different pair of inserts and the shoes still hurt like hell. For 109.00 u would think they would be a comfortable work shoes and they are not slip resistant very slick on rainy days. Would not recommend sketchers . Had better luck with Georgia giant work shoes.”
“I visited The Pinellas Park Store on 66TH Street in FL. Kathleen the store Manager helped me find a different pair of footware that i could wear as slippers. I had bought a pair of Dog slippers by Bob, a budget shoe for Sketchere. They were adorable with a dog face on the toes part but their cushion in the heel part became flat in just 2 months. They actually caused my heel & foot to hurt! I returned them and bought a soft shoe with lots of cushion, especially in the heel & has a bit of arch support, as it is not a flat shoe, & has Memory Foam, as it lasts for years! They are also washable! She gave me credit for the slippers I returned even after wearing it for 2 months and I paid the difference. She is very personable, helpful, knowledgeable, & common sensed down to earth & seems very upbeat and energetic. I bought about 8 pair for Christmas for the entire family. It is about the only brand that is comfortable and holds it's comfort”
“I was ready to check out standing at the registers. The young man saw me turned his back I wasn’t sure if he was an employee so I walked down the isles and this girl was shelving shoes. I asked if there was someone who check me out and it was the boy. In my world I’m paying his wages and he should treat me like I’m very important. If I did not really want the shoes I bought I would have walked. This store is on 288 in Pearland Texas”
“Ordered for the first time the August Air, medium width, because that's the width I usually have to order. These were too wide and felt loose. When I checked back, there were no narrow widths to exchange to. So, I put in some arch insoles and now the shoes fit better. If I order more shoes, I will definitely get narrow!”
“If FedEx loses your package your on the hook until fedex contacts sketchers back. That's not how good business works, I didn't lose my own package, I didn't send the package. I shouldn't have to pay for something I didn't receive. Sketchers is blocked on everything and I will be deleting my account after all of this is settled.”
“Today I went to the Skechers on West 34th Street and was amazed to see the huge amount of merchandise. The employee who helped me, Lami, was very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions in addition to being patient and kind. I was happy with the selection and the good service.”
“Do not buy Sketchers running shoes! I ran in the Go Running line for years and got 600+ miles. Now at less than 200 the tread comes off (faulty glue) or wear through (tread too thin). I’ve made two complaints to Sketchers but they always say “normal wear and tear” and off small discount for a new pair but do not stand behind their product.. DO NOT BUY!!!”
