Booked a return for the remote of my Xioami device. On the return request I stipulated that I cannot included the complete system as we cannot sit without TV and that I have replaced the broken remote with a usb keyboard. 11/12/21-21/12/21 they were in possession of the broken remote. Nothing was repaired and they refuse the test the broken item. This is not the 1st time I have problems with returns that is why I even included the batteries as they previously refused to replace a broken item, simply because the batteries weren't' included. One person attempted to investigate why it could not be tested / replaced and that took 2 days for him to get back with the same rhyme they all seem to use like parrots: Thank you for your response, Please allow us a moment, whilst we investigate the matter and request more information , As soon as we receive any feedback, we will notify you with an update. We do apologize for this inconvenience caused. Warm Regards, Chrisvin.B So my remote was sent back to me after I requested they return the broken item that they simply refused to test/repair or replace. That was on the 14th of December. I received the broken item back on 21/12/2021. So to date they send the same boring rhyme and I am just glad I didn't sit for 2 weeks without tv because this is the type of service they provide to replace/repair one of their faulty or broken items. So the answer to your rhyme is still: Yes because you are still refusing to test/repair/replace the broken item, you have definitely lost me and I am sure many other people as customers

Drivers are idiots. Delivered parcel at wrong address. Still waiting for them to call me back. I want my money back.

This company don't respond to customers, don't care about hellopeter. Com and often deliver products that is either wrong or only with half the contents. After that the customer is on its own

Extremely expensive but my problem is delivery time. Is it possible to have a specific time delivery cause seriously telling me to wait before 5pm is like telling me to cancel everything and just stay home and wait...

Cancelled! This has happened to me twice this week. For customer service all I got was endless points of different emails saying the exact same thing. It shows it online. In stock. You order. You pay and wham they cancel. Did this twice this week and paid for exact same product twice at a higher price, but zero delivery. They have now cancelled an order I ordered twice and failed in delivery. It was suppose to be a gift. TakeAlot your suppliers are appalling. You really need to get your systems in order. Messed up the Xmas gifts Deluxe!!!! Perhaps Amazon should take over SA after all.

Rather then the long wait. I could have gotten what I ordered at a Clicks or Dischem store. The wait for "in stock" items is ridiculous.

Lately service has been shocking. Order items state IN STOCK and wait two weeks to get them - only to be delivered on a Sunday; and short delivered; and now not even sure if the sanitizer i ordered is fake or not and somebody is making lots of money on the side - as label is placed upside down incorrectly. Kettlle received terrible cheap plastic. And still had to wait for it. All i get is an answer that it is escalated. Still waiting for my missing item.

My name is Gloria/Riah. I don't seem to learn because I keep buying from this stupid store. I face the same simple problem each time. The stupid illiterate driver, drives away with my goods despite there being people waiting to receive my goods. Every time!!!! I can never personally receive my goods just like I never have....Then customer service????It's as if they are doing you a favor by taking the call. Can someone please let me know if there is a better online store, I'm gatvol of this stupid one......🤬🤬🤬

Stay away from takealot,waited 5 months for a delivery when half the order arrived after 5 months it was cheap replicas from what I ordered

I have been bated by takealot with "in stock" for the last time. Most of the time I order a product from takealot because it is in stock and it's easier to just drive to the warehouse than go to a shop. These days they falsely advertise that a product is in stock and once you buy the product it's not, then you end up waiting weeks when you could've just gone to the shop. My last order they only updated the new shipping date once I picked up half the order. That's false advertising and wasting my time.

Incompetent. My order was a COD order, hearing from many friends, decided to open the order in front of the driver, wrong oRd er, driver refused to give my money back, insisting I opened the package, which was addressed to me, but not my order. Being a women, at the time I was home alone, very tramutasing in counter. Everyone should check order before going your money, returning items even thou not your fault, is an ordeal, including getting a refund. The driver, takes , ore advantage, because you are a women, with men, this isn't an issue personally, loyal , long time customer , will, not do business with them again.BASICALLY that's theft, wanting to take your money without having your goods. Be aware. Pathetic service

My order was delivered without the Kirk kids bear table and chair set that I paid R615 for.That was almost month ago.Countless calls to customer service,no updates received,no solution.most disappointing online shopping experience ever!!!!!!!!!!

So we bought things from take alot and guess what they send an old box that was open with the price sticker removed just to show u they went to go buy this cutter from the China mall. My daughter bought a charger it burned the same night,she bought earpods one is working one is not working. Bad really bad. My daughter still waiting for her refund of her charger after months of waiting

In short, I ordered a fridge from Takealot. Fridge reached us with dents on the door. They collected the dented unit and delivered a new unit on the same day. Guess what? The replacement unit also has a dent on the door. Can Takealot handle major appliances? Clearly their QA or delivery process needs a revamp if they intend to compete with Amazon.

I ordered 3 items from Take a lot only received one been calling their customer service everyday they telling me stories after stories a week later the credit me without notifying me and honestly I want my cash back I’m officially deleting the app.. the service is really really bad

So I order something super important from TAKEALOT on the 29th October assuming it will get to me by the 6th November (Today) when I need it. Cool. TAKEALOT sets delivery date for the 2nd of November. Cool. Plenty of time. The 2nd passes. Nothing happens. They don't update me, they don't update their app, no customer service whatsoever. So because they're silent, I (the paying customer) reaches out to THEM like a day later. They respond to me like oh sorry for the inconvenience & usual copy & paste schpeel like they just forgot there was an order at all. They finally deliver like 2 days late & guess what when I open the box? Not only are they late but half the stuff I ordered aint there! Remember, I need this stuff for the 6th (Today). I ordered & PAID (TAKEALOT already got my damn money!) on the 29th! Now I'm ****ed & I'm emailing & DMing on Twitter & all these people can tell me is we're sorry for the inconvenience, we're checking with the warehouse blah blah bull****. I email multiple times again & I get an email saying it will be delivered on Tuesday the 9th! No incling of customer service from TAKEALOT throughout, no offer of compensation for the inconvenience, no special delivery offer or offer to make special arrangements because it was THEIR **** up or because TAKEALOT knows I need it by the 6th, ordered & PAID WELL in advance, NOTHING! *** must I do with the thing on Tuesday?!! *** do I need it for then??!!! It's your mess up, go the extra mile to fix it! I'm a paying f*$king customer! You didn't deliver on a service, go out of your way to fix it ffs! TAKEALOT is a piece of trash company if I ever experienced one! To make matters worse, I still didn't get my order by the time I needed it even though I repeatedly said to TAKEALOT multiple times that it needs to get to me by today. Not a f does TAKEALOT care! Now I'm being ignored by them completely via email, via social media like I'M a nuisance not a paying customer. Today I get a "delivery update" saying delivery will happen on Monday! *** does that help me???!!!

Takealot delivered the incorrect item but they have not refunded the delivery costs after more than 10 days and after numerous telephonic reminders. Would have expected a better service and If a refund is not forth coming in the next few days, I will remove them from our supplier approved list.

Placed order, just to find out they didnt have stock after it showed stock online. Placed a 2nd order for the item that was out of stock onlt to see a credit on our account because the new item was also out of stock which did not show. So decided to cancel both orders because of long delay for delivery then. Now struggle to get refund from them, order was about R4000. Will never order or recommend them.

This is the 1st time having a bad experience with takealot and i must say , very disappointed. I bought a beauty product and when i opened it ,could clearly see that it was used and opened!!! There were missing items and because i bought this product from another store initially , I was aware of exactly what it was meant to look like and clearly takealot are using cheap fake products and passing them off as discounted items online. Sad , disappointed customer.

After they delivered a food processor instead of a watch strap that I had bought, the nightmare begins. My daughter's gift will now arrive well after her birthday!!! Instead of just delivering the correct item when they collect the food processor, the food processor needs to be collected, checked whether it qualifies as a return. If yes, they will then schedule a delivery. If this is how Takealot deals with their own mistakes, then I can only hope that they got competition soon. Hello Amazon - I already get brilliant service from them in the USA, and most at better prices with 5 day delivery :)
