My experience has not been positive. I sold shoes that took over a month to get to buyer then buyer contested sale due to package condition( it was lost for a month) I do not trust or plan on using them ever again. The real real is much more professional.

I sold a Fendi bag with them, and my buyer has received the bag and DHL has also confirmed that the bag has been delivered. However, after a month they have not paid me. They told me that DHL has lost the bag and that is completely a lie because I confirmed with my buyer and she told me she has received the bag. Their customer service is terrible, they will always reply back with no solution and keep telling you the same exact words. It's as if they are using bots to reply back and there is no real associate. I have had 5-6 people reply back to me, with absolute no solution. all they say is " we will get back you in the coming days" and they will never do. They also have no phone numbers which make things even worse. Don't ever use them. They will steal your money.

Believe the reviews.... they are real. I wished I have read those reviews before started selling on their platform. They would hold payment without a reason even after the item has been accepted and approved. Customer service kept pushing payment date each time when you reached out. Just stay away and consign with other companies

A terrible experience!. I am still waiting for my payment. I sold a CDior saddle bag, limited edition, for 1.800E. When it came to payment they sent me an email saying that for security reasons they had blocked my account and that they wanted proof of my address. I have been receiving payments from them before, I actually have sold 5 items and I have been labelled by them as an expert seller. I cannot provide them with the documents they are asking from since I temporarily live in a new country and the address on my commodity bills doesnt coincide with the address in my passport. In this case their automatic system where you have to upload the docs doesnt accept a purchase bill. I did sent one from Decathlon, proving where I am staying right now. My mobile bill is from my previous country and obviously doesnt coincide with my passport either. They have no right to ask me that my address coincides with my passport or my bills, I move around a do change my address quite often. In fact I am going to live off-grid next month and I wont have gas or tel bills no more. So they have built a security system that fails and it is illegit but I have to pay the price for it because when it comes to complains they make everything really difficult, a labyrith, so you give up. They redirect also every complain to a help center and in my case its been a month and they have not even answer, on top they dont give you a case reference number when you put the complain. They keep on sending me an automatic email, with a non-reply, asking for these documents, as it is my fault and the ball is on my roof. Laura B. Rotger Greece

Terrible customer service. I bought an item that was lost being sent to their office for authentication. It's now lost over 2 months ago and they refuse to refund me . They say it's now an investigation with the shipper who I don't even know is . They send you pointless emails trying to reassure you , but never follow up . I am now too nervous to buy anything else off Vestaire. Very poor customer care . Doesn't even warrant this star .

I am a buyer from Singapore bought a bag from a seller in France. Vestiaire collected 'import duties' from me. But when DHL Singapore tries to deliver the item, it demanded for payment of import duties before it could release it to item. To my horror, I discovered that Vestiaire has declared the shipment incorrectly, resulting in DHL seeking import duties from me. Both I and DHL wrote to Vestiaire on 1 Apr to seek clarification but it refused to clarify directly with DHL on the custom declaration and even requested DHL to ship the item back to France. This is ridiculous. I have paid for the item and yet it is detained and at risk of being shipped back. I will bring this issue to both Singapore and French tax authorities to check if Vestiaire is accounting for the tax collected from its customers. The whole experience is extremely unpleasant and frustrating!

Everything, hours spent chasing DHL paperwork, inability to download shipping labels, endless unresolved chats ,very low selling prices,& hanging around for couriers. I’ve deleted remaining items,& the app, stress wasn’t worth it, so unprofessional

My seller was apparently slow in shipping my purchase so Vestiaire cancelled the transaction and returned my money, initiated entirely by them. Turns out the item had already been shipped and I received it a few days later. I was happy to pay for the purchase and keep the item but Vestiaire only offered the option of international bank transfer which would would of cost me a significant amount in bank fees. I requested an alternative method of payment, which took a long time to be provided. Eventually an option to pay by credit card online was offered, which I did. I was then asked to provide proof that I had paid - but offered no advance warning would need do this and their link did not generate a receipt. The whole time this was going one (over 4 weeks) I was constantly harassed with emails, arriving almost daily, clogging up my inbox. The emails were often vague and mentioned an enquiry I had never made. Wasted a lot of my time, plenty of polite platitudes in the emails but their way of handling this displayed a lack of concern for the customer. Very disappointed. Offered no compensation for the experience despite me requesting it.

No one checks the items properly but you are forced to send them to be checked and thrown pay for it. It really is a shocking website and I wish there was an alternative. Bought this Hermes bracelet marketed at 6,5cm. I received it after it had been “checked” by the Vestiaire team only to find it was 7cm. I sent it back and they still confirmed it was 6,5cm. I have many Hermes bracelets so I know what 6,5cm is. Anyway after complaining they refused to give me any refund still insisting it was 6,5cm. Total crooks. So upsetting

Ordered an item that was over 500$. The item was lost by the carrier and Vestiaire “investigated” and won’t issue a refund despite the fact they know the item was lost. They told me I was on my own and had to file a dispute myself. Shipping companies won’t let the buyer file, they want the seller to file.

Followed their procedure, have proof of posting, it’s been lost by courier “ allegedly “, now four weeks since postage, all I keep getting is lies, lies and more lies. They say get back to you in 24 hours and they dont. Latest one investigation take 30 days, well it’s now over that since I posted and done everything asked. Never use this service again

I purchased a Mini chanel handbag and was expecting to receive it via FedEx, well it finally arrived, I signed for it and when I went to open the box I found a “Book”!!!!!! I immediately contacted Vestiaire Collection (it’s a painful process, they don’t have a phone number) and FedEx and initiated a case with both companies. FedEx has been very responsive and reassured me such an issue is definitely on the end of Vestiaire. The label on the box was from Vestiaire but like I mentioned there was a book in the box, they don’t even sell BOOKS!!!! I haven’t stopped trying to speak with someone from their company and they have yet to reach out or resolve the situation.

The worst customer service ever!!! They only communicate with the customer to the extent that that wish under their rules without any serious explanation about their decisions! And not reliable with their authenticity evaluation. Such a great idea being so badly treated!

Selling FAKES! I purchase a pair of Gucci boots in May 2020 for £547.00. I always pay for VC to authenticate to be safe. I found that I didn't wear the boots as much as expected so listed on VC in Feb 2022 for £370. On receipt of the item the buyer raised an issue with authenticity... I raise with VC that I purchased these boots from them initially and they were very nice and said they would be sure to check that. Today I chased for an update, only to be told the buyer has been refunded... which leads me to believe they've decided the item is not genuine!! This means they sold me FAKE Gucci boots and took my £547 even after apparently checking them in 2020. I will be happy to remove this review if this gets resolved but its important for potential users of VC to see this as it raises worrying questions over other items I have purchased now. I will NEVER purchase from VC again...

This is the worst company I have dealt with. They lost my shipment over one month ago and will not provide a refund. I have used Ebay, Poshmark, RealReal, Mercani, and Vestiaire is the worst of all. Stay away from them!!!!

Beware of the seller “Haute” they sent me a pair of boots described as “fair condition” but the photos looked great. I received the boots, they were brand new and actually laughable. The seams were coming away and the quality of the material was a joke. I emailed Vestiaire and sent pictures, they told me they would take it very seriously with the seller and admitted that they were counterfeit. I received a refund. However, the exact boots are back up for sale with an extra edit to say that some stitching is coming undone. It looks like this seller is able to carry on selling his fake products to the unsuspecting customer. So Vestiaire support selling counterfeit products. I have emailed them again asking why the boots are back up for sale and why is the seller allowed a platform, with a professional seller badge??? Will never ever buy from this horrendous company again.

Do not use Vestiaire Collective under any circumstances. I listed a coat on the platform in December 2021 which was sold at the start of 2022 after accepting a price offer a buyer sent. I posted the coat out the next day and the day it arrived the buyer flagged an issue with the coat. I started to panic the buyer had damaged it so they can send it back then the next day Vestiaire confirmed they'd cancelled the order as the item didn't match the description. I requested full information on what the buyer claimed and said how worried I was on the state I'd get my coat back. They came back showing me the photos the buyer sent in and it was of a yellow dress! The buyer claimed I sent a New Look/Asos dress instead of the coat so I go into full panic as I realise the buyer is in fact stealing my coat. A few days later I receive the dress through the post, my £395 coat nowhere to be seen and stolen by the buyer. I go un-paid as the order was cancelled due to it not matching the description... Vestiaire have spent over a month and a half 'investigating' providing copy and pasted responses to the emails I've spent hours writing and collating photo evidence to prove what's happened. They've given me absolutely no re-assurance I will be paid and it seems the buyer is free to go on stealing from others. I hope nobody ever has to go through this experience, it has been upsetting and never-ending.
