I am leaving this review as a seller, as I am furious at the way Vestiaire treats sellers. Their quality control is just a joke. They will nitpick or literally make things up (such a saying a watch is not working, and then it comes back to me... actually working and on time.) Or take the worst pictures to get the buyer to cancel the sale. On a black background, with artificial light, with fingerprints and dust on it, which would make anything look bad. Obviously the buyer will say that they don't want it anymore and cancel the sale without even having a chance to look at the item. These cancellations happen a lot more than they should and it wouldn't be the case if Vestiaire did not actually profit from them: they get to charge you higher fees for 30 days when this happens, and they also charge you of flat rate of £15 each time. The way sellers are treated, the lack of customer service, the opacity, the fact that listings are non-modifiable, or that we don't have a right to respond or get in touch with the buyer (or the quality control team) in case of dispute... all of this is shameful and ends up profiting them and them only. Of course the platform gives you access to a lot of customers, but honestly, if you have a chance to sell your items elsewhere, I suggest that you do.

I have been a happy customer withi Vestaire for around 4 years and have been happy with every purchase, it’s always as described re the condition and an authentic item. Once it’s been authenticated it’s promptly shipped with an estimated arrival date and will usually be delivered on or very near that date. I cannot comment on poor service because it’s always been very good. I feel I can buy with confidence. Highly recommend Vestiaire

NOT FOR SELLERS! I sent a pair of shoes to the buyer and the buyer never received. The buyer and I both opened a case because the parcel seemed to not have even gotten to their state. I didn’t realize there was an issue until I found out I wasn’t paid for the shoes I sent out over a month ago. Trying to reach out to through the support chat seems to be unsuccessful. They basically give you a form to fill out stating I need things like the delivery address and such THAT A BUYER WOULD HAVE TO FILL OUT! Mind you, I AM THE SELLER! They would go around in circles and responses are hard to come by when you start asking more questions. So I still didn’t get an answer. All they told me was the buyer canceled the order. So I am out of a pair of designer shoes and no money for it…. Sounds like a great deal for buyers, but sellers get scammed out of their money.

Rubbish. Avoid! Would post 0 if I could. Scam. VC stole my money. Will report them to Consumer Ombudsman. Since week I get this kind of messages: We've not forgotten you! This website is a scam. Sold a pair of Louboutin with studs. After the sale they picked up the shoes with a UPS label and received them in a day. They reported that 1 out of the 60 studs was missing to the seller but failed to report I included spare ones in a pouch and after 3 full days they cancelled the sale. They are now refusing to tell me when my shoes are coming back to me but it’s gonna be days. This means I can’t sell them elsewhere and I’m losing money every day. Their customer service is non existent and a person called Ruphin R has been the rudest agent I’ve ever dealt with in my whole life besides not understanding basic English. As of now I’ve lost a sale and don’t have my item back nor I know when I will have it back. I tried to raise a complain and was told this is not something they care about Please be careful !

Todo fue mal. Me tomó lo que parecieron décadas para recibir mi compra. Seguí comunicándome con el servicio de atención al cliente y sentí que no les importaba. Bueno, seguro que se preocuparon por tomar mi dinero enviándome recordatorios sobre lo que había en mi bolso. De todos modos, vives y aprendes, y he aprendido que nunca más volveré a comprar con ellos. Debería haberlo sabido tan pronto como sentí que su sitio web se veía feo y barato de mala manera.

I have been waiting for a month for a refund. All you ever get is a message that someone will get back to you in 24 hours. It’s a lie. They never get back to you apart from to say it will be another 24 hours. Horrible customer service. There are so many other sites to use now that are better than this one. What company has no phone number to call in 2023!

Site is not user friendly for sellers! Vestiaire wants all control of any edits. I can’t access my items by description ! I have to scroll through each item. I can’t do cross listing! So I’ve pretty much avoid listing here as it’s to time consuming, difficult service, No to little seller control!

Probably a good venue for buyers. Terrible for sellers. Bad customer support, poor communication, poorly designed site, appears to be run more like social media site rather than commercial endeavor.

I don’t think I’ve been through so many people to contact to deal with a problem before in my life. When it had been delivered to the buyer it hadn’t been actioned by verstiaire as ‘delivered’ so my payment had been in limbo for soooo long. Took me around 6 people to finally approve my payment. Never again!

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PEOPLE. DAMAGED MY SHOES DURING QUALITY CONTROL AND DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO TELL ME WHAT WAS GOING ON. I HAD TO SPAM THE CHAT BOX FOR THEM TO EVEN RESPOND. NEVER USE THEM EVER.

It is horrendous, the delivery company they use (Evri) messed up totally, the seller and myself tried to sort it out and got banned from chat, not before it transpired that they seem to do that regularly, Evri apparently doesn't scan items but hands out receipts which Vestiaire then refuses to recognize. They are using the worst delivery company for luxury items, then try to cop out of refunding buyer and seller. The "positive" reviews are most likely bought or their own people, because I tried to buy twice and each time Evri lost my parcel, it took ages to contact somebody from "Customer Service" as the chat function didn't work, so I sent an email, they sent a generic reply, showing they haven't read it (similar to the answers they leave here), they didn't even know that I was the buyer and told me that once received I would be paid in 72 hours, hello, I AM THE BUYER. I finally get a message they tried to call me but I wasn't available, seriously, the mobile is next to me, there is no missed call! They use the nastiest parcel delivery service, their customer service is basically no customer service, you can't call them. Nobody seems to be interested in doing anything, I think they are trying to mess you around until you give up and then pocket the money. They need to be reported!

Worse company EVER... They "verify" fake merchandise and will not refund you...3 months of bogus emails and still no refund. No phone number and shipping is a fraud. Stay away

Do not sell with those liars!!!! Their delivery service apparently didn't scan an item, however I have a receipt, I sent this to them, they are lying and trying to cop out! As for their "good reviews" see how many details they offer, I bet it is them. This is the reply I got from Vestiaire, after I sent them my receipt from the parcel shop, a copy of my passport, time and date where I handed in, I have evidence that I sent it, their chosen cheap delivery service loses my item and the scammers from Vestiaire don't pay! You might as well burn your items at least scamming Vestiaire then doesn't make money! Here's their reply: "I am very sorry that we are unable to locate the item since it has not been scanned in Evri's system. And, a final outcome of the investigation has been provided by the courier. We are recommending to contact the courier directly and open a claim with them. Thank you for your cooperation. Best wishes, Anna Marie from Vestiaire Collective" I am sending an official complaint to Trading Standards and encourage everybody to do the same! Do not let them get away with their lies and fraudulent business practises
