Thank you to Nivashni & team at Sunningdale Shopping Centre for arranging my order of orchids for my dads memorial. They went above & beyond to ensure I could collect at their store. Thank you for the assistance & making my day easier. I really appreciated the effort you made.

I am sincerely hoping something can be done about the management of our Woolworths store in Market Square. In Plettenberg Bay. Yesterday we were at Woolworths Knysna. The shelves were well packed and fresh stock was unpacked in all of the fresh produce aisles continuously. The staff had a sense of urgency, walked fast and were super helpful, unlike what I experience here in Plett... I had forgotten a number of items and today early afternoon went to Woolworths Marlet Square. Yet again the shelves were empty. I canNOT understand how all the stops are pulled out and shelves are well stocked during peak season and now we have to tolerate this sad state of out of stocks during the week and even on a Friday. All I can say Thank goodness for the likes of Robberg Fisheries and The Deli. My shopping patterns have changed since moving to Plett, but having a Woolworths store here that is just so poorly managed is not acceptable. Why can our annual visitors enjoy a great shopping experience and yet for the locals they don't care. It is a real disgrace.

Woolworths centurion is a dumpster fire! I went shopping there today at the food market- when I queued up to pay, they actually made me and some other customers take our huge trolleys and walk right to the back of the store to pay at the men’s clothing section!!! Firstly, it was an effort walking through all those sections full of people to actually get there. Then when we finally got there- the line was packed! Finally, when it was time for us grocery shoppers to pay- our trolleys were barely fitting through those narrow booths! What an effort it was to take our heavy groceries out in that small space- and plus when the teller was scanning the items, half of them were falling off the counter because there wasn’t any space! Ofcourse there wasn’t- those tills are made for clothing NOT groceries! People’s groceries were falling, we were crashing into one another- what a damn disaster!!!! And the staff were just standing around watching us, not even bothered to help! Their staff at centurion are not only stupid for making such a rule, they are also rude and inconsiderate! What a terrible experience! Especially at a place like woolworths! I’ll never go back

Be warned - when ordering online from Woolworths, the delivery service is appalling. I ordered online on the 26/11 number: o827666132. The delivery date has come and gone and nothing has been delivered to date. The call centre is unable to provide answers. Still waiting...

The website and app is absolutely annoying. It is so slow and possibly the worst website and app to use. Please make this better to use.

My husband and I had a somewhat disappointing and confusing experience with Woolworths in Baywest. My husband received a gift from his grandmother in the post for his birthday which consisted of 2 pairs of shorts from Woolworths with the tags still attached. Unfortunately the shorts were hopelessly too big so we decided to take it in to Woolworths to exchange them for a smaller size. When my husband had found suitable items to exchange for the large shorts he was told that they can't assist him as the shorts had been removed from their system a month prior. We asked what does that mean and were told that because the items had been removed from the system, "they aren't even worth 1 cent" and that they refuse to exchange the items. That seems like a very bold statement for a retail store that constantly boasts the best quality in everything that they sell. I'm somewhat confused by the statement that was made, what does that tell us about the quality of the items they sell to us, the public, if THEY DON'T even want it back. We have received gifts of clothing in the past from other retail stores and have never had any issues in returning the items provided we still had the tags. Yet, Woolworths refuses to assist us. My husband phoned their head office to complain and was told that he should have brought it back a month earlier. Have I missed the latest news, has the time machine finally been invented?!?!? I checked, it hasn't sadly... Perhaps Woolworths should change their Customer Care department into the captain hindsight department. At least you would know what to expect before attempting to contact them. Let me save you the call, their response is "We can't help you". My advice for people who STILL shop at Woolworths is to not purchase a gift for anyone who is on the other side of the country, be kind and purchase a gift elsewhere where customer care does exist, otherwise the gift you purchase might end up being about as useful as an ice cream toaster. From what I have seen in other Woolworths reviews, other people are getting fed up with their lack of customer care. This Woolworths in particular downsized recently, yet they still make no attempt to provide a pleasant shopping experience. Sadly, many businesses have closed due to the effects of the pandemic. Are these the signs of the last days of Woolworths? Perhaps, we'll have to wait and see. One thing I know for certain is that we will no longer be supporting Woolworths due to their bipolar tendencies and self-focused, questionable policies. We would rather support other small businesses and retail stores that know the value of true customer care.

The only herb they know how to use is cilantro/coriander. Someone failed to tell them that 13-26% of the population genetically taste soap when they eat cilantro. There are so many other herbs like parsley, basil, rosemary etc, so I don't see why so much coriander needs to be added to everything like the samoosas which is literally just gross mince and coriander. That's it. Like seriously you need a chef that knows how to make samoosas and doesn't only know how to add heaps of cilantro to literally everything.

Don't even try anything at Woolworths as their customer service is non-existent. They don't ever give feedback on any requests or complaints. If there had been a no-star option that is definitely what I would've given this company. I applied for an account, I then called to check on things and was told it has been approved please go pick it up at the Riverside Branch. That branch is 25 km away from my home. I went there after work out of my way home and after being there for half an hour was told that they have an issue and can't print the card(i don't even understand that) I was told to come back the next day. Went back the next day after work and was told that there are technical difficulties. that was after 45 minutes of the instore clerk trying to get through to the head office helpline, an idiot at the head office kept on dropping the call, cause obviously they didn't know what they were doing. I had asked if i can go to another store once they have sorted out their internal NONSENSE of no service and was told no they will not send it anywhere. "You can drive all the way out here again" I called on Monday 14 June again to find out where they are with things. Again nobody knew, they will call back, it is Wednesday no callback or even a mail. What the actual hell?? Also, the store at Riverside Mall had no covid protocols as people were literally standing on top of each other and the clerks kept talking in goobly gooks that was not a language I understood.

Great quality and you can pick your exact delivery slot. However, you have to go to a store in person for any returns.
