“The products are great BUT if you’re going to cancel parts of an order it might be nice to inform the buyer BEFORE you send and give them an opportunity to replace for other items or even cancel. Just a suggestion”

“I placed an order, and it was sent out for delivery. Royal mail informed me that they would deliver on Saturday. Upon their attempt to deliver we had nipped out. A card was posted through, and I've attempted to collect the parcel from the post office. The post office showed me a photo on their screen saying the parcel had been left in bushes in the garden. I have checked the bushes and no parcel is there. Please can you advise me what to do as this was ordered for a party on Saturday the 18/2. This is totally not your fault. I'm just looking for advice of how to deal with this situation. I had emailed this privately and got no response. Hence why I am now putting this in this section”

“Worst experience! Worst customer service!!! Because of your bad and shocking customer I left a review on trust pilot, and you tried to have it removed by lying and saying it was fraudulent!!! Also I didn’t receive a single email from your customer service team regarding my missing order. Not even a single apology. And after seeing the other reviews I’m not the only one who’s had the same experience.”

“My order number 23851 arrived incomplete I informed you of this as soon as my package arrived haven’t heard anything from American candy now your asking for my review what a hike.I ordered 2 8 pack box’s of hostess coffee cakes cinnamon I got 1 8 pack box and to loose packs so I ended up with only 12 cakes instead of 16.I won’t be using you again THANKS”

“I placed an order for some cereal on Christmas day. Because of the date, I didn't expect quick delivery but the confirmation that I received implied that it would come within 1-2 working days. It would have been good to have managed my expectations a little better and explained that they were closed until the new year. After reading terrible online reviews, I panicked that I had lost my money (£60+) and I emailed support. No response. I did get my order on the 5th Jan and it was great! It just would have been better to have an improved 'out of office' response to keep me informed.”
