Absolutely appalling. Lied to us now just do not respond to our solicitor at all. We have no options as we are moving counties and we have been forced to move in with family for what we hoped was short term as I started a new job here that I would have lost if I didn’t accept. Gone on so long our mortgage offer expired. DO NOT USE. Don’t care about the impact they have on peoples lives at all. I feel for our seller the most. Disgusting behaviour.

Do not, under any circumstances be fooled into engaging with this company. It is people like this that give the conveyancing industry a bad name. Unfortunately they are acting for my son's vendor so we had no choice. First time buyer and probate sale, so no chain at all - still can't get it right. Absolutely terrible company.

Take note of these reviews and avoid this company. They are TERRIBLE. Their excuse for poor service is “”pressure of work”, which is obviously due to their greed in accepting more work than they are able to professionally deal with. The result is a complete lack of communication, taking weeks to pass on information and being uncontactable. The “eWay” website is a joke. What a nightmare!

My sale completion date was the 14th November 2022. It is now January 2023 and there has been no actions on the E-way 'wheel of despair', nor any contact whatsoever from DC Law, for over 2 months. The whole conveyancing process has ground to a halt. I am now looking into lodging a formal complaint, this delay is costing me money. The service that is advertised bears no resemblance to the service that I have received.

Would never use DCLAW again they never answer phone or email’s . We finally moved into our home, but the nightmare is still not over. We are now receiving letters from HMRC they still haven’t paid our stamp duty. Trying to get thru to these people is a nightmare avoid at all cost.

Very bad experience. Please do not read the reviews on trustpilot as the negative reviews have been taken down even after submitting all the evidences. DC law is a paid customer of trustpilot so they look after the DC laws interests not the final customers. They have been recommended by an estate agent, but lesson learnt to use the one I choose. DC law is an absolutely a disaster. They most likely use unexperienced staff or don't treat them well. Not worth the money.

Avoid avoid avoid. This company are useless. Our house sale was so stressful it made me ill. They never answer the phone, nor emails nor messages. They delayed our completion so many times. Didn't act on our contract for 9 weeks after it was sent to them. We ended up with our furniture in a van before we even exchanged as we were left with no more options. Exchanged around 12 o'clock and completed after 5 the same day. It was hell. On trust pilot these clowns have got 5 star reviews. All I can imagine is that they wrote theses themselves. Please, if you value your sanity, do not use them

It's taken 7 painful months and should have exchanged by now but after advising us all paper work was complete now they tell us things are missing!! A week before exchange They have consistently asked and emailed the same questions that we previously answered. Would not recommend them to anyone

My son and partner could have easily lost the sale of their house yesterday,8months this company has been dealing with the sale! Appalling service, luckily the buyer has had his mortgage offer extended, the exchange should have happened 28th November only to be told by DC law that more information was needed,This information should have been gathered at the very start of this process which they have apologised for,not good enough!! It's peoples lifes they are playing with and they don't care the stress and upset they cause, this company is not fit for purpose !!!

Avoid at all costs. To cut a very long story short, delays after delays. No replies to emails, no replies to voicemail messages, endless time spent waiting on the phone for somebody to pick up. No call backs as requested when they eventually pick up the phone, as they are very reluctant to pass you through to your allocated conveyancer. When the customer advisor tries to help instead of pass you through, you’re misadvised - which adds further stress, inconvenience and delays. Go to the Director of the company, you think some action is going to be taken but then they continually move the goal post. In our case, agreed a completion date after pushing and pushing, to then raise further enquiries. Agreed a completion date, without checking the sale of the property we was getting our deposit from was ready to complete also. Leaving us having to find all the deposit and fees within 2 days by other means otherwise we would have lost the house completely. Now turns out the buyer of our old house is also a client of DC Law and have had the same issues as us, as this sale still has not gone through after 6 months and still no completion date in sight. Even though we accepted this offer before any other offer in the chain was agreed. Now in a situation where we owe family money back from this sale, that may not even go through as the buyers mortgage expires tomorrow. Complaint made, compensation of £350 offered which I think is a complete insult and completely under values the stress, upset and financial damage caused that has been a result of them. Currently waiting for the legal ombudsman to investigate independently.

Please note if the situation regarding the property were to be resolved by DC Law, I would be more than happy to provide an updated review, including a star rating.

Thanks! Your review counts. You reviewed DC Law Add photo A.Pol 0 reviews GB I neively appointed these solicitors at… I neively appointed these solicitors in Jan 2022 at the recommendation of my estate agent. Lost a sale due to these clowns and now on the brink of losing another! Constant delays in replying to buyer and client emails/calls, delays to requesting paperwork from land registry. I have put them on 8 week notice of complaint for the ombudsman which has no difference to them getting their act together - in fact got worse! The second buyer which is meant to be a quick cash sale has now taken another 4 months! Same delays again, not answering calls or emails to enable me to complete and get out of this terrible service or no service I should say. I have asked for a manager to call me back 6 weeks ago - no reply. Again asked for one to call me back yesterday - still no call back. Perhaps they might call me back after reading this as they seem to reply quicker on this platform! On I go to the ombudsman as the 8 weeks notice is up. Never ever experienced such bad service in my life!! Please DO NOT use these clowns!! They might tell you the delays are due to it's unprecedented pressure from the current housing market but don't believe the lies! It has been like this for me, since January 2022!! Please DO NOT do any business with them

We would never have used DC Law for our property purchase/conveyance if we had known how long they would take since the 25 July 2022 date, the seller has informed us that their solicitors have passed everything over to enable DC Law to complete The seller has now told us they look like losing their mortgage offer and said they would have to take the property we are buying (cash buyers) off the market. The DC Law Solicitor Louise Lewin will not give us a completion date but has promised to escalate this matter. DC Law Reference D147628.00001 the seller and us want our solicitor DC Law to complete this week, but the conveyance solicitor Louise Lewin has told me this is impossible. If we had read the DC Law reviews before engaging the services of DC Law, we would NOT have used DC Law, who is described as the worst conveyancers.

DC Law are a total joke. They don't care about their clients. Don't reply to emails, or phone calls. They are messing with people's life's taking their time. I wished I read the reviews before I went with them. I will never use them again. They take your money quicker, then doing your case.

PLEASE AVOID FOR YOUR OWN SANITY!! If the 170 odd other 1 star reviews hadn’t convinced you to go with another conveyancer hopefully this one will. Our buyers are using DC Law and as a result the chain is on the verge of falling apart. They have caused months of delays by not responding to enquiries or exchanging documentation. A lot of conveyancers have a bad name but these guys take the biscuit. If you are buying from a seller using Purple Bricks then be careful as the seller may have been recommended these cowboys. I’d go as far as to say that you should threaten to pull out of the purchase unless the seller uses a different conveyancing firm otherwise the stress of having them involved in the purchase will take years off you and you may not end up moving. Absolutely and utterly terrible and should not be able to get away with the effect they are having on people’s lives. AVOID!!!!

Our buyers are using DC Law. We accepted a lower off due to wanting a quick sale and the process has been anything but quick. DC Law did not answer any calls or emails for a month. When they finally did, there were enquiries which were unrelated to the property - they clearly have no idea what they are details with - yet our solicitor answered these immediately. 2 months later and we are still waiting for their legal team review the responses!! Avoid at all costs.

AVOID WITH A 10 FOOT POLE!! The absolute worst experience of my life, caused me several panic attacks over the longest most dragged out 6 months. They will ignore you and fob you off during one of the most stressful and expensive times in your life. Kirsty Rimmer was atrocious (that's me putting it nicely)! They take on way too many cases and make you do all the work. I ended up cutting them out of everything and just went through my estate agents to contact the other solicitors. They also lie on a daily bases saying they've done things they haven't. FOR YOUR OWN SANITY... AVOID!!!!!!
