“The delivery service was excellent. I was disappointed in the quality finish of several parts of the building. Much of the wood was un finished and rough sides and edges, easy to snag on clothing and hands.
From a distance looks great, closer up no so great.”
“I was initially so impressed with the whole process, delivery day updated etc but on building our garden shed this weekend we have a few missing products and broken items. The shed itself is great quality, and we are super please aside from the missing/ damaged parts.
It’s a beautiful design and very sturdy.”
“Unfortunately the delivery of my shed was delayed on 2 occasions. Additionally, the roof was only just sufficient to cover the shed with no overlap which is less than ideal.”
“The shed arrived at 08.00 in the morning- 4/5 hrs earlier than quoted. Erected 3days later and joiner remarked the wood was extremely dry & brittle!......2 x exterior posts were split in 3 places & therefore useless (thank god we could use supports from my original shed to patch it.
The ready made slat sides have huge gaps meaning I'll have to purchase filler to keep bugs/ mice out!”
“Item acceptable although needing some remedial work I.e removing poorly hammered nails on 5 occasions. Delivery was dreadful, told mine was on transport as the 5th drop spent all day waiting never arrived. No communication from firm. After a few phone calls was told delivery would arrive a week later. Very annoyed customer.”
“As an ex mechanical/electrical engineer ,the instructions weren’t very explicit and negatively the holding down kits were wrong-even when your subcontractor sent 2 replacements they were the same,so l gave up complaining and bought real rawlplugs industrial types—on the other hand it was reasonably priced so 3 out of 5 stars.

“The service from elbec has been great. But the shed itself, terrible. I put my foot on the base without any weight and it went through the base. Upon closer inspection, the base has a hole in it as if someone put a finger through it. I have has to reinforce the base with some pieces of mdf so the distribution of weight is greater. Not happy.”
