Well made Gazebo. Easy assembly instructions and looks great.

I bought a Mercia shiplap apex shed and the ordering process went smoothly. I am encouraged by the guarantee on the shed but not impressed by the quality of the timber and some of the wood is warped, although not too badly. My main complaint concerns the assembly instructions for the roof panels which could so easily be made foolproof but have resulted in my having to take them off and reposition them. The response from the "Customer Care" team was in effect that it was my fault as it was clear from the diagrams how they should be positioned. I would also add that the assembly instructions also recommend " that the building is sprayed with water during extended periods of warm sunshine and sheltered as much as possible during rain or snow". So it looks as if I will be spending most days in the future spraying water or holding a large umbrella over my shed to retain the guarantee!!

The product was described as "easy to assemble". I found that not to be the case. However, I got there in the end. The packaging was damaged on arrival, with some of the panels scratched. I would suggest better packaging because the delivery drivers seem to just throw the product around, hence the damaged packaging.

Arrived as advised, however left on an enormous ‘pallet’ the size of a double bed that was very difficult for me to cut and dispose of. The product was inferior but maybe naively I expected it to at least fulfil the requirements of a greenhouse. In this area it failed until a family member intervened to resolve the numerous issues. On a positive note the prompt and efficient service I received from Elbec customer services has been excellent and appreciated. I’d recommend the company but not that product at all. Not worth the money.

Delivery was great , on time and driver was more than helpful. the quality of the wood used was some thing of a let down .why anyone would use wood with 2" knots in the window frame is beyond me .overall the shape and size was just fine for me but could not recommend this shed as the wood was of such poor quality

Delivery slots were great packaging was also great but shed build instructions leave a little to be desired especially when it comes to the roof and didn't come with enough 40mm screws. Also apex of shed is offset so enless you fit the right way round you won't know it's wrong until you fit the roof boards. I would say unless you are really good at DIY I would steer clear.

The summerhouse arrived intact (all parts present) delivered by a very helpful driver. The quality of the materials is not great - softwood that despite application of the recommended treatment is already swelling in the rain. The resulting structure is not completely square, to the extent that I have had to bring in a joiner to make doors fit. This has been caused by a lack of clarity in the instructions - to make the building square the first corner post would have to overhang the base, which didn't seem right and isn't part of the instructions.

It's a great shed, and I would recommend it, however the felt was missing, so they quicky sent it afterwards. 3 lengths x 2.7 metres acording to manual, but they only sent one 6 metre length. Poor maths by someone. Used my own. Drilling instruction confusing, 6mm drill shown at beginning of manual, but 5mm actually required. The tempered glass provided is easily broken, so the shed is easily broken into.

Dear John, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're pleased to hear that you would recommend the shed overall. However, we apologise for the oversight in providing the correct length of felt, and we appreciate your understanding in this matter. We'll also look into the discrepancy in the drilling instructions to ensure clarity for future customers. If you have any further concerns or if you require additional assistance, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team. We want to make sure you have all the support you need! When constructing the Arbour we found that the seat and backrest were twisted. We could not get them to lie flat. We had to discard them and construct our own seat and back rest. The angle of the back rest as supplied when fitted meant that the seat was too narrow to comfortably sit on. 1 small angle bracket was supplied to hold the roof panels together. Before making this review I phoned company to raise issues was promised call back but never happened.

Very flimsy plastic panels are like video box materials would have paid the extra money and got a Keata Shed as material is much better quality not impressed at all.

The quality of the shed is good but the delivery was poor. Having booked a day off work the delivery did not occur due to a “broken down vehicle” in this day and age that always seems suspicious to me. We were going away that weekend so could not take delivery that weekend especially as we were told it was upon us if we were not there. Therefore it was going to be arranged for a future date. To our horror we had an email the very next day informing us the delivery that morning. We were away with no chance to rearrange so unfortunately had to come back from our break as the shed was left on our drive. Not the service that we expected

I found the quality to be poor, I had to place extra struts in the roof space and sides to give the shed some strength

The shed is okay, we've had it just over a month now and theres been a few leaks during the rain, one through the window sills, and the other through the wood itself. The treatment on the wood is poor, it soaks the water and allows it to drip through the other side, the structure is okay but ours arrived with damaged posts, it still did the job but not what you expected for a £500 shed.

A bargain shed which could do with some improvements as a bit of wind blows rain water under the slats of wood causing dampness inside the shed

Bought this shed 5 x 7 (1.44m x 2.07m) Forest Overlap Pressure Treated Apex Shed which arrived yesterday, exactly at time stated, great service. Only issue is the cheap quality of build – I realise it wasn’t the most expensive shed to be bought, but still – there are standards. Whoever put the panels together should check whether the nails they use actually go through the wood, I had to fix several panels before I even attempted to put the shed together. Floor panels were lose from the joints and the roof wood panels were warped. There’s a piece of wood that attaches to the door which I have had to sand down to prevent splinters just from picking it up. Great design, but as I said quality and workmanship is rubbish. regards steve

Bought my garden arbour from them because it was cheaper than similar products elsewhere. The assembly instructions say it is a 'garden technology' product from Estonia which probably explains the delay in delivery, which was communicated to me. There was a piece missing which took 2 phone calls to sort out, but the staff were very friendly. I knew it was self assembly but it took 2 people 2 days to put together as there were no pre-drilled pilot holes for the screws & I didn't know this initially. We did manage it but it was not easy. One of the pieces was out of shape but it hasn't affected the finished product. Great value for money but not sure I would do it again.

Delivery was on time & driver was very helpful. Let down by the fact there are screws missing, the bolt is partially rusted & bent, also one of the cover strips is incomplete due to knots in the wood have fallen out. This is very inconvenient & should have been quality checked before delivery. Just to add I wouldn’t recommend this company since customer service is very poor and quality control is even worse !!!! Sent me a rusted pad bolt on first delivery and the replacement is even worse ???did anybody even check this before it was sent to me ??? What a let down DISGUSTED!!! Oh just to add nearly 2weeks for 1 thin length of wood, 1 pad bolt & 2 screws. Give a wide birth if you are reading this
