Well I didn't think we would have to fill in so many holes from wood knots and loose ones. Mainly to keep wasps from nesting. We decided to use a wood preserver stain as it was very orange. Glad we did as it blends in more. Then decided to waterproof the floor for extra protection. Even though my husband made a concrete base from scratch to make it more stable. The roofing is like a thick roll of sandpaper. It ripped very easily. We will have to patch up during the summer. But at least it's waterproof for now. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Reasonable product for the price, a few minor defects several holes needed filling where knots had fallen out, rear gable out of shape and tongue and groove split in one place on rear section.

Had a piece damaged… then the whole front missing, still waiting for part to be delivered and reinstalled, so at present unable to review… hoping the product isn’t more damaged after being later on top of each other for nearly 2 weeks

The service from Elbec was great, delivery on time with a very helpful driver. The reason for only 3 stars was the log store was definitely on the flimsy side and probably not worth the price. The floor had to be substantially strengthened. Also the back and the roof apex I put a support in.

Received a 18x6 Summerhouse with Patio, the supplied screws were like plastic, the bag of screws had different size screws in the bags which doesn't help, the instruction were not very clear, need a magnifying glass to read them. The doors are warped and the fittings are about as much use as a chocolate fire guard. Never received any sealant for the roof had to buy separately. I suppose you get what you pay for. it is up and looks ok but will need to do some work to make it more secure and Durable and less flimsy.

This review relates to the lean-to wooden greenhouse. Delivery was excellent. No instructions were included, fortunately I'd prevuiously requested them. The instructions leave something to be desired; specifically the advice to treat the green house AFTER is has been erected. I would advise treating it BEFORE whilst it is still in its constituent parts. Having read the instructions it was clear that thoroughly treating it once erected would be impossible so I treated it first. Erecting was fairly straightforwards but for one complete pain in the 'you know where', namely fitting the styrene window panels. Had they been a mere 5mm wider all round (or certainly on the long sides) the better to overlap the timber frames, the advised method of assembly may well have worked. As it was the styrene constantly popped out the frames and, especially once the roof had been put on, was a real trial to replace them, requiring partial dismantling. Eventually managed it, but at the first hint of significant wind two panels popped out again. It's clear the arrangement for installing the styrene will require considerable amendment if this issue is not to recur repeatedly, a problem which may well have been averted with bigger panels that allowed a greater overlap on the wooden framing. Having said all of that, I was pleased with it when I finished building it, and I'll be pleased with it when I've found a way of satisfactorily ensuring the styrene stays in place. It fits the available space perfectly and will provide the space I need to bring on a few plants.

Doors and static front panels an inch too wide to sit on frame and make flush?? Perhaps our misunderstanding but needed to cut an inch off doors to fit?? Whole structure leaks rainwater...possibly expected to?? Absolutely love it and poised waiting for first seedlings to emerge...wonderful. Quick thought. We live in windy location and the wind lifts the window wether shut or open. As such, we fitted locking hook and eyes to prevent this.

Bought this greenhouse as it was the perfect size for our space. It’s a case of you get what you pay for. The Perspex windows are covered in a very thin film both sides which you have to removed. Any joining pieces together into panels is nailed not screwed. It went together ok except when we added the centre door panels they didn’t fit and my husband had to take about 3mm off each side. Luckily he has the tools and skill otherwise we’d have been stuck. But hopefully it will serve as for enough years to be more cost effective than the plastic one I seemed to be replacing most years. We still have the pieces to add to fronts at side and are adapting shelving so they can all be removed when seedlings are done and cucumbers need space.

Shed was decent quality but really poor instructions for assembly. Got there in the end but it wasnt easy. Would love to just get instructions for the shed I bought not other sheds all loopped in the same paperwork.

The summer house/ shed itself seems good and delivery was prompt and polite, great service however, I would advise people to be wary of using their construction services. Whilst one builder was prepared to put the entire building up the other refused certain elements, he clearly did not want to do it. This was not the main issue though. He put the handles in a ridiculous position at the top of the doors, he missed the wood in various places leaving screws sticking out and unattached, put hinges on in the wrong place and out of alignment etc. It is a really shoddy job. The disclaimer for the warranty had already been signed so he wasn't accountable for any structural issues but that's no reason to do such a poor job. Very disappointed with this element of the service.

My order arrived very promptly back in February. I had expected the courier to make contact with me prior to delivery but happened to be home and found him dropping off the pieces at my back door. This was not an issue as I was there anyway. We have only just got round to putting up the structure and I have reviewed that process below. I will make contact with Elbec asking if they can resolve the issue with the facing planks which are too short.

This is not a premium product & the price reflects this. I was aware that it would require wood preservative treatment, which I did along with 3 coats of paint, but one floor panel arrived damaged & had to be replaced, a pent side panel was not square & I had to re-align & the instruction manual showed pent windows attached when in fact they arrive as separate units with instructions on how to fit. Anyway, a few additional screws & silicon between all joints (not suggested in instructions but does provide a better seal) and it now looks fine.

The corner summerhouse we had is generally of good quality. The issues we had were that the doors were not aligned properly, and it was not an issue with the levelling of the summerhouse on the base. The window and door would not align properly partly due to half the screws missing from the hinges

Only 3stars as I’m still painting each part before assembly. One piece has broken where a large knot weakened this decorative roof strip.

Nice building, but shed door doesn't fit at all, so I am waiting for a replacement. A piece was missing so they had to come back to fit it. I think the wood bearers should be thicker and higher off the ground. They are letting water sleep up with all this heavy rain. Delivery and installation very good.

Thought that the timber quality was rather substandard, there are many many knot holes in the boards which will need to be sealed and the roof was rather awkward to fix into place
