“Purchased a garage which, turns out Elbec we're selling on behalf of Mercia garden buildings.
Took over 2 weeks of delivery being cancelled on the morning of delivery on a few different days (when leave had been put in from work) for eventually the totally wrong item to arrive.
Carrier was blamed... how when it was the wrong item I have no idea??
Told they could re order the correct item but could not say when it would be delivered???
I would not buy from either company after this!
Refund was paid after the wrong item was collected.”

“The building itself (Woodstore with shed) was great- once all the pieces were delivered. Took 3 attempts to get all the panels, felt etc delivered before it could be assembled. So great product, just a shame about the lack of care and attention from the logistics/customer service team.”

“Great value shed. I put it together on my own and it was a 12x6 …. Yes it took a good few hours but the fact that it all sat right and I was able to pilot drill and screw together is testament to the quality.

“I paid extra to order from Elbec because they promised faster delivery than other retailers. Unfortunately, the shed arrived damaged and incomplete. The delivery driver removed the damaged part and I was assured replacements would follow, but I then received the wrong part and had to chase repeatedly.
In the end it took weeks, multiple failed deliveries, and a lot of frustration before the correct part finally arrived — far slower and more stressful than if I’d ordered elsewhere for less.
The product itself is fine now that it’s complete, but the customer service experience was very poor. Based on my experience, I would not order from Elbec again.”

“Delivery was as expected with no issues. The Canopy product was competitively priced and is of a good quality. The instructions on installing it with the right tools were very clear and you definately need two persons to do it as recommended. It was up within an hour of its delivery and looks great.”

“The shed was decent overall but not outstanding. It went together quite well after a little bit of fettling here and there. We had to replace some of the feather edge boards as some of them on one panel in particular were not straight and left a gaping hole. It does the job of storing tools, gardening equipment etc and looks good at the top of the garden. Ok for the money.”
