“I bought 2 quilts online from Myer and after nearly 1 month I still not receive my order. I made a several phone calls to Myer and ask about the order. They keep telling me call back in a week. I won’t shopping with Myer again!”
“The worst, ordered 2 items that coordinated together, lowest price item arrived first and weeks later no sign of the second more expensive item. Contacted myer, no reply, contacted again no reply. 3 months later lodged a PayPal case, no response, elevated PayPal dispute and 2 weeks later recieved a refund. No contact from Myer, no email to say you will be refunded or apologies for this! Unbelievable disrespect for customers. Their myer one program is simply laughable, it takes 2 months after you purchase to receive a reward, but wait!! Then another 2-4 weeks to actually get the digital “card” you can redeem. Then when you buy online you need to log into a seperate myer one website to obtain the card details, go back to the original myer website and enter a 12 digit number which you can’t copy and paste and wait for it… another 4 digit pin from the card in the seperate platform to redeem $10, from a purchase you made 3 months prior. Are you laughing yet?”
“Dreadful online furniature service. Sent notice order on its way via Australia post tracking number given by myer. Ausralia post had no information re tracking number given to me by Myer, rang Myer dockland held on for 22mins given same wrong number again, rang a second time and whoops! I had been given wrong carrier information as well .Still waiting for an apology for their mistake and my order. Worst online company I have ever delt with.If you want any online furniature, DO NOT USE MYER ONLINE furniature department.”
“I tried to buy a watch online and it took them a month to tell me that they can only refund me. No email updates, no reason just didn’t deliver.
Terrible store for online shopping. And of course I’ve got to wait 5 business days for my money to be refunded. Unbelievable.”
“I didn't receive my order that I placed with Myer in March this year because the courier that Myer use (Aramex Australia) stole it, but they fraudulently claim that they delivered it to me. They originally did deliver it to my house but then they took it away when they believed that I wasn't home to sign for it (because they didn't give me enough time to come to the front door), and I visibly witnessed the courier leave my property with the parcel. From that point onwards the order went missing and Aramex are denying knowing anything about it. Yet I never received any standard automatic system generated confirmation of delivery email either which are always issued to customers when a successful delivery of order has been made, which also proves that I didn't receive the order. Consequently, I are now $157.95 out of pocket. Importantly is that I was also never provided with any tracking details or tracking number when I placed the order with Myer, so I had no idea who was delivering it or when it would be delivered. Myer won't do anything about it to help me and won't give me a refund, even though they have a duty of care to ensure customers receive orders placed with them. Given that Myer never sent me a confirmation of delivery email which proves I never received the order, they know full well that I didn't receive the order. Myer are aware that Aramex Australia have a very poor reputation and that numerous customers have had their parcels go missing with Aramex, and that they also don't receive tracking details either so that their parcel can't be tracked when Aramex lose or steal it so Aramex get away with it. Aramex are running a huge scam so don't ever use them, because there is a good chance that they will misappropriate your order like they did mine. Myer need to step up and start using reputable courier companies because ultimately they have a duty of care towards a customers order from start to finish. I demand a full refund from Myer for the misappropriation of my order by Aramex, which Myer have enabled.”
“Their couriers with the exception of Australia Post do not attempt deliveries. All my parcels over several orders were dropped off at a newsagent two suburbs away. No deliveries attempted as someone was always home and the doorbell works. The only order I received at home was delivered by Australia Post.
I have not shopped at Myer for a while but thought I’ll give them another chance. No more after this.

“This ancient woman working in the Lancôme section of Myer Macquarie centre on a Monday afternoon was quite possibly the rudest person I have ever spoken to. I have worked in retail before and I have never spoken to someone the way she has spoken to me. Maybe Myer should reevaluate who they have on their team. Even if I’m just asking a few questions I’m still a potential customer.”
“I purchased a ln item online with velocity points on black friday and had confirmation of purchase soon after. 30 mins later an email informed me it was out of stock and myer credits will be issued to me! I didn't want the credits i wanted my original transaction refunded. After around 3 months multiple phone calls and emails and calling fair trading NSW they finally agreed it was the wrong thing to do and got refunded. So much time spent on hold and stating my story for false advertising. I wonder how many people get stung with this business model. Refunding in myer credit when they advertise an item in stock online. Be careful what you buy!”
“MYER online double charged me and did not process any order. The amount debited was over $630 which affected my cash flow. Spent over 2 weeks on the phone to several different agents who did not provide any solution but told me to wait until the refund is processed. Have reported MYER to Fair Trading, upon reading the rest of these comments, appears something fraudulent is occurring… will not be shopping with MYER again.”
“Spent 15 minutes at the Aesop stand in Myer Centre, Brisbane City being ignored by the shop assistant. She managed to speak to me twice though, from a distance, telling me that there were testers I could use. Would've been nice to actually have some courteous service however. She would probably use the excuse that she was busy serving someone else, except that another customer got served during the intervening period of her (a) ignoring me; and (b) telling me off. I went to David Jones instead.”
“WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I am only giving one star because zero stars is not an option.
I placed an online order with Myer and paid an additional fee to have express delivery of my items within 3-4 days to ensure my order would arrive well in advance of my upcoming international travel. My order had not yet arrived by the time I departed the country more than 2 weeks later. Because I was unable to collect my parcel from the post office when it ultimately did arrive (due to being overseas), it was returned by the post office to Myer. I have contacted Myer to follow up on at least 8 separate occasions, wasting multiple hours on the phone and communicating through their online customer service. I am still waiting to my my money refunded NEARLY THREE MONTHS LATER! This is inexcusably poor customer service and I will now be reporting this to the NSW Fair Trading and ACCC for investigation.”
“I sent an elderly friend a gift card for Christmas so she could get some goodie’s for herself from Coles. Checked online before purchase from post office, website said was valid for, Myles, Coles, Kmart, Target, etc. she went to Coles and tried to use the card and was told it was only able to be used at Myers. Feeling ripped off. She cannot get to a Myles shop, so money wasted.”

I was sent the wrong item over 6 weeks ago by Myer online. Returned it the next day using their return system. Still waiting for refund or exchange. Absolutely impossible to speak to anyone about this because the chat assistant is no help whatsoever and the phone number keeps referring me to the website which is no help and I cant get to actually speak to someone. I have tried so many times now I have given up and going to have to take this further. I have never ever had so much trouble dealing with a simple return with any other company.
It amounts to fraud. Customers rights are ignored I will never shop at Myer again.”
“I PLACED AN ORDER IN STORE ON THE 23RD OF NOVEMBER. ITEM WAS TO BE SENT OUT, I THEN RECIEVE A EMAIL ON THE 24TH OF NOVEMBER TO SAY THE ITEM IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. “I bought a Christmas gift for a friend. The order was said to be shipped on 22 Nov 2022 from Gold coast to Brisbane. It didn't arrive on time so I called them. They said they lodged an investigation and promised if I don't receive it by 15 Dec 2022, they will refund me.
On 15 Dec (almost a month later) I still haven't received anything and Couriers please also have not meaningful update. I asked for a refund as they promised but they rejected the request.
Don't buy from them. They will take your money and don't guarantee you get what you paid for.

“Dont waste your money on the Myer care plan-I purchased A Myer Care plan, with my breville coffee macine in good faith (as it displayed the Myer logo). I do like the Breville machine, however I have had it repaired twice through Breville. Breville were fairly efficent at organising the repair and also organised a loan machine, overall a good experience. The Machine now needs its 3rd repair in 3 years and the Myer care plan is proving incredible difficult to deal with. I would not waste my money on the plan again and will be following it up with the ACCC”

I Myer is the worst place to buy anything online, they use 6 different delivery companies most of which have no customer service, the myer customer service is always rude and tell you to call someone else who don't take calls from public. I have no idea what is going on with my delivery and no one is able to help me... this is crazy, how are they still in business??”
“I ordered a present for my Grandsons 5th Birthday on the 17th November - paid express post. Parcel sent with Couriers Please - I still do not have this parcel. Grandsons birthday come and gone and I am still out of pocket. Couriers Please told Myer it was due to the floods my parcel has not arrived. The parcel is coming from Roselands in Sydney to Mosman in Sydney - floods????? Couriers Please and Myers customer service I am going round in circles. Still no parcel and Myer refuse the refund. They offered me gift vouchers for the postage cost - are they allowed to do this for a service fee not a product - I am sure this is not allowed. Be careful when buying online from Myer and using Couriers Please. You will be one of the few if the parcel arrives. Go to google and read the comment for Couriers Please. Good luck in getting a parcel delivered and or a refund from Myer.”
