“I purchased something online and went in store to exchange it as it was to small. My purchase was made with a disposable visa credit card which I no longer had so I asked them to place the whole thing onto a voucher. I had explained this at the counter.
The lady told me not to worry as my $28 would come to me as a voucher online.
My voucher came to me as $2.90.
I went back in store ans the guys told me that the money went back into the credit card I paid with.
I told them I paid with a disposable visa card I no longer had.
They told me that there is nothing they could do for me and could not place the money onto a voucher.
Because of them I lost $25 so RUDE and unhelpful!
They have lost a dedicated shopper for Myer. They ate my money I will never shop there again and will ensure that no one around me shops there either!!!!”
“Ordered a Christmas tree online on Dec 4th. Still waiting for it to be delivered. Running out of time for me to have it by Christmas! Customer service is awful. Tried the "Myer Online Experience' a few times now I have moved on to calling. Very unsatisfactory. Dreadful shopping experience.”
“I bought a 5-Tier Bookshelf Display Shelf and Room Divider in Brown.
The order number is 1123943048. It has been almost one month (the delivery was supposed to be in 5 days). Have been calling Myer customer service, each time, they said that they are sending an email to the seller. No one knows where the product is. The seller is not responding. Still, Myer refuses to cancel my order and refund my money. They say I have to wait until I receive the product and then post it back to get refund. How stupid is this way of handling a customer complaint. You said, five days delivery, and it is almost a month. It is obvious that there is no product. You need to refund the customer, and apologise, not saying that wait until we send another email. So frustrated, will never purchase anything from Myer Online, and will never recommend this. If you google what has attracted your attention, be sure you can find the same item on one of other platforms such as eBay, Amazon, BigW, Coles, Woolies, they all sell online, the same product, just google it. Myer does not care about customer reviews or happiness, so, sooner or later, they will end up ceasing this platform.”
“Horrific online order experience. Purchased item online on 6/12/23 on website assurances that item would be delivered in time for Xmas. Have been advised item has been given to Aramex for delivery (note overall 1.8 star reviews for nearly 2 thousand reviews). I have been given what seems incorrect tracking number and have no idea where item is. Advised by Myer it will be 3-5 days before they can get an update from third party supplier. I asked if they could call them to get quicker update but no. So now facing situation where no update likely to be received until end of this week and if not received, have to go and purchase another gift for the person who was meant to receive this item. I am unable to cancel this item. Customer Service of very little assistance. Avoid online shopping with Myer!!!”
“I ordered a product online and when it was unboxed it was faulty so I returned it to the store where I picked it up from.
I then had to go through the process of getting a refund, which takes 3 to 5 days for my account, and purchase a new one. So for 3 to 5 days I have paid for two products.
It's just a frustrating and stupid system.”
“Terrible experience. Vowing never to purchase from Myer ever again. I purchased a $400 speaker online on 7 Nov for an event being held on 26 Nov... it's now the 15 Dec and I still haven't received it. Got an email from Couriers Please on 5 Dec saying they attempted to deliver my parcel but I was home that day - no note in the letterbox. Called Myer and was told they could lodge an investigation and someone would be in touch. Week went by and heard nothing. Called again to ask for a refund as the service I paid for had not been delivered and was told that I had to wait for the package to be recieved by Myer before they would refund the money. So who knows how long that will take. Then asked if they could tell me the address of the depot so that I can go and pick it up and they said they would email the courier to find out so just hung up in the end.”

“Went to Click &Collect Counter to pick up some towels. I didn’t like the colour so asked for a refund. The goods didn’t leaver the counter. The salesperson said the credit has been processed and I would receive an email confirmation. The incorrect amount was given and I have rung their Experience Centre many times and have had no satisfaction in getting the balance of the refund. It’s the worst customer service I’ve come across EVER. MYER DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE!”
“Waiting for xmas tree ordered Nov 27 this is the second late notice now Dec 11 ? Kids waiting and waiting for postage services in Victoria why does this happen every year. Mailing system is incompetent in regional rural areas having local mail go to bigger city for sorting then sending it back to town. Why cannot town post office do sorting in local town and free up major postal services.”
“The worst customer experience I have ever encountered. I ordered online and the order was returned to Myer Chatswood by Australia Post as it was damaged. I didn’t receive the goods, they were simply ‘returned to sender’. 8 phone calls to Myer, numerous emails, and they have yet to refund me for damaged goods I didn’t receive. The staff recruitment process and lack of knowledge and ability to help is appalling”
“Purchased two products online, both said they were in stock, two days later they received an email stating they had cancelled one item, the next was cancelled couple of days later. No process for complaints. Wish I had purchased these elsewhere as I was trying to make the most of a sales day, now I have to pay full price elsewhere. This is what happens when you buy things from a company with no interest in customer service or ethics - profit focus only. Other companies have live chat, email address, online forms, Myer only have a phone line with a long wait time.”
“Brilliant staff. The line up at the fittings rooms (which are hot, stuffy and far from nice) is an absolute time waster. I work in the city and no matter which day I’ve gone through the ladies wear this year I’ve lined up to try on clothing for way too long.
I’ll not be returning until I hear they’ve unlocked the other change rooms permanently and cooled the others down. Best and Less change rooms in midland gate are 5 star in comparison to Myer city.”
“My past 4 purchases at myers have been disappointing. Poor products, lack of testers and undelivered promises. I have had to return two products due to faults. On another visit I wanted to try a couple of perfumes and all testers were empty. I complained then went back a week later to find they were once again empty. My latest problem was purchasing products with a free gift only to be told 3 days later it was out of stock. Stock was available when I placed my order. I could have got it at another store that day if my online order had not gone through. I expected a lot better from a store like myers. I think I am finally done with shopping at Myers.”

“My husband and myself shopped at Myer store, Joondalup 2 days ago and my husband wanted a particular shirt and I have to say that the young woman that served us in the men’s department went over and above her duty to help find the size my husband was looking for. The size was not on the stand and we thought it was sold out. This lady knew where she could find this particular shirt, and my husband was so happy when she returned a while later and had found one. I cannot recommend highly enough how jolly, helpful and so pleasant this woman was. Her name is Michelle and if there are any awards to go to staff service, then this lady deserves 2. She made our day with her happy sense of humour too. I wish all visits to Myer, Joondalup were the same because many times I have visited the downstairs make-up counters and the girls are so short staffed, but doing their absolute best. Many times I have walked away and gone to David Jones in Kari yup, as absolutely refuse to waste my time and money, waiting to be served. The girls are always so very polite, and apologetic, but can do no more, as they are always rushed off their feet. More staff are definitely required.”
“Went to the black Friday sales at Northland store today. The main fitting rooms were closed. This caused ridiculous amount of people waiting to try on clothes in the women's department. Gave up left the clothes and went home. Not happy.”
“I ordered a present online on a Sunday afternoon. I paid $12.95 for express delivery rather than free postage as I needed it for a birthday present Friday. It stated the parcel would arrive by Wednesday 22. The courier did not collect it until Wednesday afternoon. I am now trying to contact the courier. This is my first online order with Myer, and will be my last. I ordered product from Sydney from another company at the same time. That arrived Tuesday! My order was coming from the Perth store, I live in Perth! I rang Myer yesterday, they had no idea with where the parcel was. Why if you pay for express post, was it not posted Monday? Not happy, bad customer service. Hoping my order will arrive in time now to gift my Dad for his birthday. Not a great first time experience at all.”
