“Without a doubt, dealing with Runnerinn was the worst online buying experience I have ever been subjected to.
It got off to a disappointing start when the running shoes I ordered took 10 days to arrive, but this was nothing compared to what followed.
The shoes didn’t fit, so I contacted Runnerinn to ask for the returns address so I could send them back, only to be told they would not accept me arranging this myself and instead I would be obliged to pay £10.99 for a pre-paid label from their preferred delivery company. This was non-negotiable and forced me to pay around double what it should have cost me.
Forcing customers to pay an extortionate delivery charge just to return goods is a particularly odious way to extract money from them and I am sure Trading Standards would be interested to hear about it.
However, the worst was still to come. Despite their tracking information showing the goods were delivered back to Runnerinn on the next working day after I sent them, no refund was forthcoming after a week so I tried to contact them, which in itself is an adventure as there is no phone number and even contacting them by email is not as straightforward as it should be. Week after week I emailed them and they assured me repeatedly that my refund would be processed but nothing was ever forthcoming so in the end, after MORE THAN 8 WEEKS of their lies, I gave up and asked PayPal to intervene. PayPal reviewed the facts of the case, found in my favour within 24 hours and refunded me in full.
Runnerinn were an absolute disgrace at every step. DO NOT GO NEAR THEM!

If your item never comes, they will ask for 15 days to research. That is unacceptable. They should be able to easily track there product through customs.”

“I placed a blackdiamond running light in Nov 2021 when it was in stock. Chose the Royal Mail delivery service the website provided, well now in mid January of 2022, the product still not be delivered. They said they had been investigating in late December and shouldn't take more than 10-15 days, but still nothing. I asked them to give me refund and I can post back the product if it arrives, they just said NO. Terrible service, very unreliable, avoid them.”

“Ordered 2 pairs of Altra shoes on this site. Size recommendations were wrong and both shoes didn't fit me. And of course this was my fault! I sent orders back at my own expense. Tried to clarified whether it is possible to send 2 orders in one parcel by Russian post as their suggested DHL service was too expensive. There was no response from the store. So I decided to send both orders in one package. Sent them back on August 20. For 2 months, the parcel was at the Spanish customs. The support service promised to contact the customs, but they did nothing at the end. Today the package was sent back to Russia by some annknown reason. So I paid money for the return goods and what now??? If I send it again by DHL, then I will pay the entire amount of the order. Disgusting store and return policy. I will never buy anything from you again and I do not recommend it to others.”
“7 WEEKS TO ACCEPT A RETURN using their courier service. If you are based in the UK you must not shop with them. Apparently the long return delays its to do with Brexit and there's nothing they can do. if anything goes wrong expect long delays and lots of hassle to get them to refund or replace”

“DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SCAM WEBSITE. I ordered a pair of Nike running shoes from runnerinn almost six months ago. Initially, they sent me the wrong item. After weeks of hassle to provide me with a free return label (they claimed that they had sent me the correct pair of shoes even though the size label was clearly different than what I’d ordered), I sent back the shoes for return using the shipping label provided by them. According to Royal Mail the parcel arrived at its destination almost two months ago. I have yet to receive my refund because runnerinn claims they haven’t received the parcel. This has been an absolutely awful experience from a terrible scam website. Steer clear at all costs.”
