Twice I have booked with them, both times after hotel approved refund they do not refund for a month, now 3 weeks and still waiting for second refund. No return email or phone call to me or hotel after they said they would get back to us immediately... They never paid the hotel..

I booked a hotel room through this agency. When I arrived at the hotel, my four-year-old who is special needs (with a trach and feeding tube and various other medical challenges) started having severe reactions due to pet allergies/mold in the pet friendly and not very clean hotel. We immediately left and booked the hotel next door to stay and administer emergency breathing treatments. The hotel willingly tried to issue my refund given the fact that we had to leave immediately after check in. Snaptravel refuses. When I called, the agent refused to put the supervisor on the phone and refused to give me information about their corporate office. She said she can't even tell me WHERE the corporate office is located. The agent then said the supervisor would call me back... As I expected, I never got a return phone call. I have an email from the hotel clearly stating that they are willing to give me a refund but since it's booked thru a 3rd party (snaptravel) they're standing in the way. They claim they were unable to negotiate with the hotel on my behalf which makes absolutely no sense. I have never seen a company so unwilling to cooperate. This company is a sinking ship at the rate they're doing business and how they treat their customers. If the hotel witnessed this situation first hand and is willing to give the money back, this company should not stand in the way. Above all, customer service is extremely hard to reach and very unprofessional if you finally do reach somebody.

Hi Nicole, sorry for the inconvenience. The reason we can not issue a refund is that you have filed a chargeback on this booking. Therefore, any compensation will have to come through your financial institution. We're sorry for the troubles caused.

They stole my money. The hotel did not even get their money and I did not even get to stay at the hotel I was booked at. Horrible customer service will never book with this terrible company. Definitely a scam

Never used snaptravel before. It is not a good way to go if you want customer service. They use bots. I checked into the Days Inn in Butte Montana and it was filthy. There was dirt on the duvet and though they switched my room, the next had used wadded up tissue on the floor. During covid, this is not a comforting sign. When I asked for a refund they refused even though I offered to use their service for another booking. Skip Snaptravel for your bookings. It's a customer service nightmare. I will use Expedia or even Priceline next time. They seem to have higher standards for their hotel clients.

Company refused to refund a booking which was cancelled by COVID-19 quarantine; attempted several communications with company with no results. Worst booking experience ever. Now, it appears as Snaptravel has charged my Paypal account again for the same charge! Time to sue...

The pictures of the hotel were not accurate! We booked the Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Ft. Worth North/At Fossil Creek for 3 nights for $198. Seemed like a good deal and the hotel looked nice and clean in the pictures. We arrived at 2am & when we arrived there was loud drunk people in the parking lot. I go inside to check in and find another loud and drunk couple yelling at the receptionist complaining about tvs not working. When I provided my info to check in I was asked for more $ from the hotel for a deposit. Snap Travel said I wouldn't have to spend more $ because my stay was already paid for in advance. Fine, I paid it cash because it would be refunded at the time of checkout otherwise I would have to wait for the refund if I paid it with a card. I go back outside to go park and unpack and the parking lot didn't have enough lighting. We parked on the side of the hotel since there was an entrance there close to the elevators. As we are getting things out of the car I see a man who seemed drunk or on drugs approaching my kids and I. He sees my husband and walks past us. Then we proceed to walk to the door and guess what? Another drunk couple standing right in front of the door smoking and being loud. We get in the elevator the loud drunk man that was yelling at the receptionist gets in the elevator with us. As soon as the doors open in the second floor random doors start opening and females come out to the hall to see who's getting out of the elevator. I assume prostitutes maybe because of the way they were dressed. At this point I tell my kids to walk super fast next to me because all I wanted was to safely make it in the room. As we are walking down the hall looking for our room the loud drunk man is following us and when he sees we noticed him he turns back. We get in the room and lock the door and the room was horrible. It looked old and dirty. It smelled humid and it was a strong smell. The closet doors were broken (I took pictures) about to fall off. At this point my husband was furious and not having it he didn't want to spend the night there. He took the kids to the car and I asked for my deposit and I told them we had our kids and we didn't feel safe. They refunded my deposit and said they would refund Snap Travel and Snap Travel would refund me because we didn't stay. I contacted Snap Travel in the morning and was given the run around saying if the hotel said that then they should refund me. Snap Travel can keep the $200 because I will never do business with them again. Bottom line is they don't care about where you end up staying they are in the business of making money and that's all. They should include pictures of all the junkies and drunks outside and inside the hotel then you can decide whether you want to book or not after seeing the reality of what they're selling. In the end we stayed at the Tru by Hilton for the same price. This place was modern, clean and safe with security outside the hotel! Turns out you don't need Snap Travel to get a good deal

I booked a Hotel at the beach. Couldn't go because of forrest fires. After evacuations, the Hotel said yes you should get a refund. Snaptravel said no refunds? Taking advantage of the Forrest fires! And keeping the money! How is this legal?

I booked a one night stay in Nashville, TN four days in advance, and when I arrived, the hotel did not have my reservation. I spent two hours with Snaptravel's chat bots, asking to speak to an actual agent, until I received a phone call from a real-enough-sounding person who told me they never made my reservation, but were very sorry (I'm skipping an additional 20 minutes of added time-wasting where they called me back and apologized and offered to book me a new reservation at the same hotel -- though not for the same price I had been offered originally. Of course not!). They finally offered a refund plus 20% Snaptravel credits (credits which, let's be honest, will go unused. With a vengeance. Because, fool me once....), so I took the refund. Bottom line, if you like sitting in your car for two hours while nothing is being solved, by all means, book your stay with Snaptravel the way I did.

Booked a hotel in an country 1 week in advance. Two days before checkin date I received an email stating that I would have to choose another hotel. I’ve been calling snap travel every since I received the email and they said they would look for another hotel. Here it is the day of checkin and I still don’t have a confirmation number to any hotel. Every time I called they would give me the run around ohhh we’re working on the confirmation will email you. Never happen here it is 2hrs before checkin and I have to waste money again to book another hotel!!!!. I don’t recommend anyone use this site at all. I’ll have to wait 2-4 days for a refund.

We booked a stay at Travelodge Macclenny FL, and upon arrival, the room was a total dump! Broken windows, shower curtain rod falling out, busted microwave, and worst of all, in q pandemic, SOMEONE ELSE'S BLACK HAIR on the towels, and gross yellow mystery stains on the sheets. We immediately walked back out of the room, to the night window, and said no way we felt safe staying there. We took photos and videos, and notified Snaptravel immediately. Since then, i have gotten nothing but the runaround from them, and a flat refusal to be of ANY help. The hotel also refuses to make it right. This place is a scam and their customer service is abysmal

The worse experience I have ever had… The worse experience I have ever had with an online booking. I am a senior and had to travel due to an urgent family matter. I was very stressed about covid and family matters. I used Snaptravel to book a room in hotel Podollan in Grande Prarie, AB. I went to book in and was shocked to be told my reservation was for the night before. Yes it was my mistake. The Hotel was very accommodating and told me several times it was not charging Snaptravel for the night I missed. However, Snaptravel had already charged my credit card and they refused to refund even partially the funds...even though the hotel did not change them. I had to deal with so many txt messages from different people and they just kept throwing out "boiler plate" responses. I know they have a no refund policy however policies are for guidance and exceptions can be made. I dont believe anyone ever followed up directly with the hotel or looked at the financial records where they would see no charge was made for that reservation. I know this because I contacted the hotel. A horrible experience .... I am so disappointed in the lack of any "compassion " and how simple it is to hide behind words . I am not a wealthy senior and this is so disappointing.

I had a terrible experience with SnapTravel. I booked with them online for one night in Nashville. The deal was amazing! 40 dollars a night for a hotel that was normally 120 dollars a night. I received two confirmation text messages and one email. So, I thought I was good to go. However, when I arrived at the hotel they did not have my booking. After speaking to the representative from snap travel and waiting for over an hour, she informed me there was nothing she could. I had to rebook the hotel and they would refund me the difference in 2/3 days. For someone on a budget, this wasn’t a feasible solution. They refused to book me at a different hotel or book the hotel I had been waiting over an hour at. I will never be using this website again and I highly recommend not using this company. If you do, you might find yourself hotel-less in a city you don’t know.

There is no one you can actually talk to. They have a bunch of people who message you and write from a script. No phone numbers available. Covid-19 was beyond anybody's control yet this scam of a company engaged in profit-only behavior by refusing to give refunds and essentially causing additional stress to customers. Plus, they are taking 20% of your money if they do offer a refund even after the hotels give them back 100% of your money. I will NEVER book with this company again. Buyer beware!

Do not ever use snap travel. The city I was going to is under evacuation order because of wildfire and they did not care one bit. Hotel burning down? Can’t check in? Ah too bad, no cancellation.

This booking site is a SCAM! I booked a hotel with this site only to be told by the hotel that they don't have a room for me. I called Snaptravel while at the hotel lobby and after long wait was told to wait for 10 minutes while they talk to the hotel staff. I waited for over an hour and there was no call. I eventually left to find hotel somewhere. I've been requesting for a refund for several weeks now but they refused to refund my money. Yet, they keep sending solicitations through text messages. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM!

The big SCAM ever =Snap Travel.com The big SCAM ever. Do not book your hotel with them,YOU will remain without your money. SnapTravel took advantages of these time and steal people money without to offer them the accommodation. I paid fully for the hotel Innside Calvia Hotel Magaluf and the hotel has been closed 3 days before to check in,(07.09.2020) Snap Travel DID NOT provide us an alternative room somewhere else, they DID NOT replay to my emails. All what We got from them was the ignorance.
