This company is a SCAM. DO NOT USE. My nonprofit books 8-10 hotel rooms a month. I was psyched to learn about SnapTravel. But when we got to the hotel they only gave us one room, instead of the two that we paid for. I had to share a room with my co-worker (embarrassing and not professional). I was sure that SnapTravel would make it right, once I let them know of the hotel's mistake, and that they would give us SnapTravel credits for the room that we could use for our next booking. But they didn't. Such a shame. If they had done that one small thing, we would have been fans for life! Sad to say that this company is probably a scam :(

Datum 23.06.2021 Mit Abstand das unseriöseste inkompetenteste Team was mir je untergekommen ist. 1. Jedes mal ein anderer Mitarbeiter im Chat wo keiner weiß was Sache ist und man sich ständig wiederholt. 2. habe das Cosmopolitan Hotel für eine Nacht nutzen wollen (22.06.2021-23.06.2021) . Das wie ich in Erfahrung gebracht habe bei einem persönlichen Besuch schon längere Zeit Corona bedingt geschlossen war! Wie kommt dann ein solches Angebot in diesem Zeitraum zu Stande? 3. Wurde kurz nach der Geldüberweisung und Buchungsbestätigung in ein anderes Hotel vertröstet. Ich solle warten auf Rückmeldung entschuldigten sie. 4. bis zum heutigen Tag der Abreise 23.06.2021 wird sich entschuldigt dass das TEAM (was wahrscheinlich aus Bots besteht) noch etwas Zeit benötige sich um die Hotelreservierung in einem anderen Hotel zu kümmern. 5. Zwischenzeitlich bekam ich eine Mail das mir mein Geld nicht zurückerstattet werden kann da ich die Buchungsdaten schon bestätigt hatte. 6. Im Gesamten hatte ich also weder das Hotel was ich wollte noch überhaupt irgend eine andere Art von Unterkunft die mir angeboten wurde. Keine Rückerstattung. Höhere Kosten durch kurzfristige Hotelsuche in der Innenstadt. Meine Zeit wurde verschwendet durch 100 verschiedene emails. Kein entspannter Aufenthalt mit viel Ärger statt Relaxen und Wellness.

Room not booked, even after confirmation received it was 2 months earlier, alternative offered accommodation did not know about my booking. No response to my emails asking for refund of payment paid.

In these cases, we cannot access your account, and any resolution must continue through your financial institution. I booked a hotel in Manhattan for 2 nights and called the hotel the day before to ask for an early check in.. Well the hotel is not even open!! Had I not called, I would’ve shown up to a closed down hotel! So I called the company and they said “oh we will fix this for you and give you another hotel, we will call you back to book”…… Nope! They never called back and when I persistently called hour after hour, they sent me a text saying “we refunded you money” good luck…. I didn’t want a refund! I wanted a new hotel.. 12 hours before check in! Seriously? You really screwed me and offered, get this… a 20% credit towards another booking on their BS site.. except.. the prices of hotels the night before is like twice the cost as it was when I first booked during the troubling covid times…

Honestly if I could give them -5 stars I would DO NOT use this to book rooms!! They pratically took 135 dollars from me and my fiance and we never got a room they couldnt help us in any way customer reps were very very rude!! Never got a hotel room had to end up going home and trowing away 135 dollars for nothing!! Now no one will anwser us back about a refund or getting our room!!!! Very upset! Do not use them!!!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. robots, scam, no customer service at all!!! 1 star, avoid at all costs. i got approval to receive a refund from the hotel (left for medical reasons) 1 day early. hotel approved it, yet i cant reach anyone at snaptravel to refund the money. I’ve reached out 5 times for the refund that the hotel approved, and get automated messages. I think they have 2 employees at most using fake names every time horrible site, do NOT trust this company. avoid at all costs

My wife and I booked a room through snap travel because we knew we would need a place to rest on our long drive from point A to point B. We booked the day before and prepaid and received the confirmation number and were even followed up with a text message about our booking confirmation. We arrive at the motel around midnight and we were exhausted. We get to the window to check in with our confirmation number and the front desk clerk tells us that they are sold out. He claims he informed the booking site to stop excepting the reservation for his motel because he has been sold out and can not accommodate us. So we tried to contact someone from the website to help us and we had NO luck. I began to look for other options out there and all hotels in the area were sold out as well. We were in the middle of Bakersfield,CA and did not feel comfortable sleeping in our car out there. Both my wife and I were both too tired to continue on. So the man at the front desk noticed this and told us hey we have a room under construction in the back it has a bed and working bathroom you can take that. With our situation and being stuck where we were we had to take it. We get to the room we first noticed that the door had been kicked open and then was kind of fixed but it left a 1 inch gap between the frame and the door. The bathroom door had a huge hole in it. Only 3 of the lights in the room worked, the smell was awful it was a mixture of cigarette smoke, corn nuts and old urine. The sinks or tube did not drain, the carpet was so thick with dirt that you wouldn't want to walk on it with bare feet. With door not closing all the way we had to barricade our self in the room with a table and a chair. It was awful. My wife got rest I stayed up to stand guard because there were alot of shady characters around the place. The police showed up in the area for one call or another at least twice. I don't blame the motel because they did there best help us when they did not have to. The Snaptravel.com people should of handled all of this better. They should have a 24 hour customer support phone number. They should have communicated to us that the motel was sold out. This website us untrustworthy I believe and I would not use them again. Awful company!!! They take your money. Avoid at all costs. Had to call the hotel I originally reserved and pay AGAIN! When I called customer service was told “sorry it’s non refundable”. I didn’t want a refund, I wanted the reservation for the correct dates that “somehow got changed”

They took my money, I got no hotel room. Zero customer service- these guys are complete fraud. I got to the hotel and there was not adequate parking for me. The hotel cancelled the reservation with Snaptravel. We tried contacting their customer service, but all we (me and the hotel) was send them an email. They still charged me for the room, and the hotel got nothing since they could not provide service. COMPLETE THIEVES!

What a worthless service. I have booked and paid. Because I was not allowed to enter Mexico, I requested to get a refund. I have been asked to send an e-mail to which there has been no response to date. Very sad that these kinds of organizations get away with it so easily. I'll think about whether you want to stay at a resort where they only want your money.

My experience with snaptravel this past Saturday was unbelievably HORRIBLE. I went to Downtown Cleveland for my anniversary. I booked hotel couple days in advance. At 3pm I attempted to check in to Hotel. I was advised by hotel that snaptravel had cancelled my reservation one day prior for some unknown reason. I got on phone with customer service in which I was then referred to "urgent care team". I waited in hotel lobby for over 3 HOURS waiting to be "relocated". Finally after 3 calls by me I was put on "priority". At about 730pm I was contacted by snaptravel urgent team and advised there was nothing they could do for me besides give me a refund. They could not give me a reason behind the mistake that was made regarding my reservation. By the time I was advised there was nothing snaptravel could do every single hotel downtown was booked and I was stranded 3 hours away from home in Michigan. My evening with my wife was ruined and the trip was a disaster because of snaptravel. For my inconvenience they gave me $27 in credit which didn't even cover the cost for parking that I already paid for at the hotel which was a waste of my money. The customer service was unbelievably horrible. I sat in hotel lobby for over 3 HOURS waiting for a resolution. The hotel manager came and talked to us and basically said we had to leave if we didn't hear back from snaptravel soon. It was somewhat embarrassing. The entire trip was a disaster and already ruined. I ended up booking a hotel near the airport and calling it a night. Waste of a trip because of snaptravel. Thanks

Snaptravel is a scam. They send you a confirmed reservation and when you get to the hotel to check-in the hotel does not know or accepts the reservation. Spending hours trying to get a solution from customer service without any resolution.

I booked a resort Sheraton Vistana at Orlando for 24th May to 26th May 2021 via Snaptravel.com. When I reached here, I was told by the hotel that they received an email for cancellation from booking.com. So i tried calling snaptravel through whom I booked. They put me on hold for atleast one hour and told me that there is some error on hotel’s end, we have it confirmed. After 5-6 calls and waiting for 2 hours, they told me that the booking has been cancelled by their partner company and according to policy it is non refundable and they cannot do anything about it. They apologized and hung up. I suffered a lot because I couldnt get a good hotel at the moment. This is unacceptable. They said we cannot return your money back since that isn’t allowed by the company policy. SNAPTRAVEL IS A FRAUD. NEVER BOOK THEOUGH IT. They may give you lower prices a few times but they will compensate for it from you.

Do not book with them!! I tested positive for COVID a few days before my trip. I sent snap travel documentation of my positive test result and requested that I get refunded as I did not want to put others at risk of getting COVID. They were very rude and non accommodating. All I asked was for a refund for one person as there were two other people that still went on the trip. I asked that they change the room accommodations from 3 to 2 which they did, but they refused to refund me my money. Do not book with them. They are very difficult to work with and will not accommodate for emergency situations out of your control. I am out $600+ now.

My reservation was canceled by you , because my bank put a hold on my credit card until they made sure it was not a fraudulent charge , by the time I contacted my credit card company within a couple hours Snaptravel had already cancel my reservation

This is the worst company ever. They are dishonest, thieves and do not keep their promises. I had a credit issued due to Pandemic cancellation, but then they took it away and said it expired. DO NOT EVER BOOK FROM THEM!

I booked a hotel in anchorage via snaptravel and upon arriving there were hypodermic needles in the parkinglot. Inside the hotel there was a drunk unconscious man sleeping in the lobby covered in vomit. A woman stumbled in and slept there as well. It was a very unsafe place to say the least. Several calls with Snaptraveles customer service resulted in a few very incinsere automated emails and no refund. Ordinarily i would not ask for a refund when cancelling a booking but when they allow customers to book in an unsafe location they should own their mistake. The hotel said they would cancel our reservation free of charge so we know that snaptravel is just keeping that money for themselves. I will never book with them again.

Do not use snap travel. They put me in a hotel next to people isolating for covid and then refused to refund me when I cancelled, even though the hotel agreed to do so! Honestly, you only save $2 vs other reputable companies and please note, they also drip feed pricing.
