“I pre-ordered a pair of waterproof sneakers, waited 5 months, wore them occasionally for 7 months before they started to fall apart. The warranty is for six months, falling apart after seven months is regarded fair wear & tear, the warranty is therefore worthless. These shoddy shoes are made with poverty wage labour in sweat shops in Vietnam & cost £60 on offer, God help anyone who paid the full £90 for this rubbish. I would have been better off buying a cheap £30 pair from eBay or another pair from a quality manufacturer like Sebago, my old ones being 4 years old & still look like new.”

“My hive backpack came covered in mold on the netting on the inside. I have a severe mold allergy and contacted the company because I also have a trip coming up that I bought this for and the only solution they gave me was a normal exchange with the 4-6 day turnaround time after they receive the item which is not helpful. Especially considering how severe a mold issue is. This is a quality and safety concern that I now have to deal with 7 days before my trip. Hope this helps someone else if they are struggling to decide if they want to spend $300 on a back pack.”

“I had a good experience with my Sunsets (very comfy) but the Geysers are another story. Yes, they are comfortable (after breaking in) but the quality is poor as the sole seams split on both shoes after 6 weeks (of very light walking, max 30 mins per day) so they are no longer waterproof. This is not isolated - my friend has two pairs of Geysers which have failed in the exact same place. Tropicfeel's answer to this is to provide a voucher for another pair with no indication that they plan to address the quality issues - this is not a sustainable approach at all. I can't get a refund because the items are used. Very disappointed and ashamed of myself for recommending Tropicfeel to friends who have made purchases and now regret it.”

“Poor shoe sizing and a poor customer service policy in response to customers whose purchases do not fit. I won't buy from this company again after a disappointing first experience. They are more interested in their revenue than keeping customers happy. If shoes don't fit and haven't been worn, then returns and exchanges should be at the company's expense, not that of the customer. Other companies manage it. Why can't you?”

Compré los Dune Chocolate cuando aún estaban a la venta durante el periodo previo al lanzamiento. Mi intención era conseguir un par que fueran cómodos y se secaran lo suficientemente rápido para un viaje de un mes al sudeste asiático, pero me decepcionaron rápidamente: Acabaron muy gastadas después de 1 sola semana de uso en Asia del Sur Este en condiciones mas que normales. Tras 1 mes de viaje y +/- 500 kms andando están en un estado realmente penoso, no las podre utilizar para otro viaje. A este precio es imperdonable. I will take advantage of the fact that my comment on the Tropic Feel website is strangely not published, I wonder why? I bought the Dune Chocolate when they were still on sale during the pre-launch period. My intention was to get a pair that would be comfortable and dry quickly enough for a month-long trip to South East Asia, but I was quickly disappointed: They ended up very worn out after only 1 week of use in South East Asia in more than normal conditions. After 1 month of travel and +/- 500 kms walking they are in a really bad condition, I won't be able to use them for another trip. At this price it is unforgivable. Je vais profiter du fait que mon commentaire sur le site de Tropic Feel n’est étrangement pas publié, je me demande bien pourquoi… J’ai acheté les Dune Chocolate lorsqu’elles étaient encore en promotion pendant la période de prélancement. Mon intention était d’avoir une paire commode et qui puisse sécher assez vite pour un trip d’un mois en Asie de Sud Est, j’ai très vite déchanté : Elles ont fini par être très usés après seulement une semaine d'utilisation en Asie du Sud-Est dans des conditions plus que normales. Après 1 mois de voyage et +/- 500 kms de marche, elles sont en très mauvais état, je ne pourrai pas les utiliser pour un autre voyage. A ce prix, c'est juste impardonnable.”

“Etant en tour du monde depuis 6 mois, nous avons acheté avant de partir la NS40 seulement ce fut une très grosse erreur ! Nous avons traversé toute sorte de pluie et la NS40 n'est pas pas du tout imperméable. Nos vêtements sous le vêtement sont à chaque fois trempés. Nous sommes loin de la publicité avec l'homme sous la cascade... Extrêmement déçus, nous ne recommandons absolument cette veste pour la pluie.”

“I've been using these shoes for almost 5 months now. They are very comfortable. I can walk with them without any discomfort. However, as others reviewers, they do not answer their main purpose: waterproof. I'd been walking for 20 minutes under an average rain (even not a heavy one!), and the inside was all wet. I was really disappointed as I mainly brought them for this purpose. In addition, they are difficult to put on: I tried to use the tab at the back, but it snapped off immediately. I have to use a shoehorn... The price is too high for this.”

“Spent a lot of MONEY with Tropicfeel. £500+ and i've never had to deal with TERRIBLE customer service until last week. Purchased NS40 in July and product shipped. Noticed the white print RUBBED OFF after a few months. Not so bothered about this. During Xmas used the hood for the first time and elastic cord SNAPPED which rendered the hood COMPLETELY USELESS. Felt like a badly made product or DEFECTIVE. Customer service NOT interested at all and batted me off.”

“Ce sac semble très pratique, mais propose très très peu d’espace. Il pèse déjà 3kg, on ne peut pratiquement rien mettre à l’intérieur car le support qui semble pratique est bcp trop large et empêche rapidement la fermeture. Il n’est pas agréable à porté et fais mal au dos. Très déçu, surtout au vu du prix..”
