“I'm giving 3 starts, because I'm not supporting Viagogo in this what they are doing, but fortunately I had good experience and everything was without problems. For example, I bought 2 Post Malone tickets 2 days ago. Post Malone had concert yesterday in Copenhagen, so I bought it only one day before the concert.
The FIRST problem is that they used the common tactic, how to persuade the customer to buy the ticket. U can find that system on the internet. Firstly they show you really good price for the ticket, they say that there is only few tickets left (1 in my case), they show you the fake timer of you reservation (so take your time, there is no real timer :) ), then they ask for your personal information included your credit card number and so on, and in the very last step, they show you the final price, that includes high handling and booking fees, usually 20-30% of the price of the ticket. BUT, that's not a SCAM, that's not a fraud. It's only because people are naive and inattentive. I knew that this ticket is not the last one, that I have no timer and that there will be high fees, however, I still bought tickets under the real price. Real price was 650kr (88€), ticket price on viagogo was 395kr (53€), fees were approximately 30% so total price was 512kr (68€). So I still bought tickets under their value.
The SECOND problem, is when people order tickets to their home, to their address and don't order E-Ticket. Don't do that, there is a chance that these tickets won't arrive to your address :). My e-tickets came to my email few minutes after purchase.
Here comes the THIRD and BIGGEST problem. These tickets are valid, however, they can be sold more than once, respectively the seller that sold this ticket through Viagogo, can go the event as well. That's why it's really risky to buy tickets from resellers. This applies only for tickets where information and code are not changing by reselling. However, they can't be used more than once. That means, that there is a CHANCE, that you won't be able to entry, because this tickets was already used. So if you want to limit this chance, the best way is to be there first :). We had seating tickets, that means, normally, people don't rush to the venue. They can come 15 minutes before the concerts, and they will still have their seating place. So we were 1 hour before the opening of doors at the entry. We made sure that we are first there, and we successfully got inside. I'm also sad for people that maybe had the same tickets as ours of course, but they chose to buy through viagogo, their duty was to check the reviews of Viagogo and to find out that it's risky. We knew the risk. I'm not happy with the way that Viagogo works, but it's NOT a SCAM, everything is legit, because Viagogo is only reseller, that's why this website is still running and selling :).
The FORTH problem is service, in the most cases, if you ask for the return because the ticket haven't arrived or was already used, you won't get answer :) You can try, but it's not guaranteed.
To sum up, I DON'T recommend buying tickets from this website. Try to find another way, It's risky and misleading. However, if you know the risk, and their misleading tactics, you can try :).”

“Completely inflexible when my friend broke her leg since booking our tickets and was in a wheelchair - They would not even consider moving us to the disabled access area even though are tickets were in the same area. They kept telling us they could not upgrade us. We weren't asking for an upgrade, we were asking for disabled access.
I will never use this dreadful company again.”
“Scam site! Don’t buy any tickets from them, we booked tickets to watch the Eubank fight on Saturday and when we got to the entrance, we were told that the tickets were invalid! Ruined our whole night!!!”
“This is an appalling company! Zero stars from me but unfortunately default is one star! Bought two tickets for Prof Brian Cox event costing £132. Received tickets with face value of £25 each. So paid excess £82! A disgusting and immoral company!!!”
“Booked tickets to see Borussia Dortmund on Viagogo said unrestricted view, when we got there a barrier in the way, Viagogo replied we don't do the seating at the venue, they are not interested even tho they have had their share of the money. Be careful people you have been warned”
“I order football tickets to a game in Berlin on viagogo. I was traveling from California; I bought the tickets three weeks before I left. On the site they give you the option to have the tickets delivered to your your home address on the last day you can retrieve them there and if they cannot arrive before you travel to the game the tickets can be shipped to the second address they let you enter, which is the travel address. In the end my tickets arrived to my home address 7 days after the last day I said I could retrieve them there. I then had to pay for the tickets to be mailed to the correct travel address in Europe. They didn't arrive on time. I missed the game. It was a big disappointment and waste of money buying tickets from Viagogo.”
“VIA GOGO TICKETS -
Horrible service!!
I LOST MORE THEN $300... TYhey JUST SEND TO ME THE TICKET 30 MIN BEFORE THE CONCERT - I LIVE MORE THAN 1 HOUR FROM CONCERT...I LOST THE SHOW... I SENT MORE THEN 5 EMails, TRY CONTACT BY PHONE CALLS AND NO ANSWEARS
DON'T USE THIS SERVICE!!!”
“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A RIP OFF !!! WILL DO MY BEST TO ADVISE AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE OF THEIR UNDERHANDED BUSINESS METHODS .SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN !!!”
“Well, as you can see pretty much on all the reviews, this company is a scam. If you want to pay 3x the avg ticket price, go for it! I used them to buy tickets for Florence & The Machine / Tears for Fears and realized afterwards that the ticket cost £45 pp and they were selling it £85 + £30 Fees etc.
You are ripping off people and it's just unacceptable. Are you not ashamed ? With all the trials you are facing, i hope you'll go to court and just shut down the company.”
“We have now had 3 attempts to buy tickets - the first didn’t happen as the seller never had them in the first place, the second set were sold to us but were the wrong date and now having paid for a third set viagogo are telling me they can’t get the seller to upload them. It’s a shambles and tickets are costing nearly 3 times their face value. Sadly my son and his friends now won’t be able to attend the concert .a complete shambles. - never use viagogo. Staff simply fob you off with promises of tickets which don’t materialise. Not a credible company. Avoid!”
“My mom was scammed by them just yesterday- paid 220EUR for two tickets worth 65EUR each, and now we are told to wait one month to receive them! (this would be just 2 days before the concert). While she made the booking, she had no idea viagogo was not the official seller as they popped as official on her google search. I cannot believe google still takes their adds after years of controversy- allowing many people to fall into these scams easily, thinking they buy from the genuine organizer. Google plays a crucial role in their scam- without popping first as an ad in google search, viagogo and their likes would go out of business. I have reported this to Google as I believe they need to be held responsible. Given all the bad press over the past years, Google cannot deny they are willingly part of the scam where viagogo claims to be an official reseller, charging last-minute fees just before making a purchase, offering tickets they do not own!”
“If I could give them negative stars I would!
I am absolutely appalled at the customer service provided by viagogo! They have lost a pair of my season tickets twice and continuously send threatening emails daily saying they’ll charge me for replacing the tickets that need to be bought for the customers who bought my original season cards!
I have had to pay to replace my season tickets twice and every time I ring to resolve the matter they hang up or say I’ll receive a call back. I have NEVER had a call back. 37 calls later within the space of 3 weeks and the issue is no further resolved than when I first rang.
Don’t ever use this service!! They are scam artists that will rip you off anyway they can!
They will be hearing from my solicitor as according to there own policy and my earnings from my tickets, I have roughly £1200 from this company.”
“Never buy tickets from this company. They blatantly lie about the number of tickets available, and say that they are going to sell out, when in fact there are still lots left.
They also charge way higher than the original ticket price, and never mention this.”
“Will never use again. Never. Bought two tickets for England v Italy for partners Xmas gift. Have never bought rugby tickets (don’t know anything about rugby or cost of tciekts) before but wanted to get him a special gift.
Paid £389 for what looked like amazing seats. Tickets arrived this week and marked at £90 each.
Really disgusted this site should be allowed to continue.”
“This should be no stars, but their website wont allow you to leave a no star review - says it all really.
Absolute rip-off.
Please would all serious artists and other performers, etc. ban this company from selling their tickets”
“Apparently viagogo courier has lost our tickets for Scotland Italy rugby tho Saturday. They say they are trying to find us replacement tickets I don’t understand why they have a problem with this as they are still available to buy on line. Absolutely rubbish service”
“I would actually rate it at zero stars. Basically in short got ripped off and couldn't get in touch with customer service by phone as friends couldn't either. I did the online deal and filled out information. I then received a call back and I was told viagogo is going to refund all my money from 2 tickets and plus extra compensation. Well I received half the refund of tickets with a small amount of compensation which was a voucher for viagogo. Again couldn't contact by phone. Contacted them by email again and i was receiving replies that didnt help the issue that I had with what I was told they were going to fulfill. I really was ignored about situation over and over, also no body would call me. I wasnt the only one that got ripped off. Myself and all I know will not use there site. They should be shutdown.”
