“Yodel’s customer service is rubbish. Do not use them!
I received a call through the intercom of my flat on 6th May for delivery and the delivery driver was coming up. After giving him access to the flat, I waited behind the door for ten minutes - no one knocked or delivered anything.
When I checked the status of the parcel it says ‘delivered. Unable to sign, Covid’
When I contacted yodel on four occasion they said they will investigate and contact me in 24 hours but that didn’t happen. So I contacted them again and they said the driver put it through the letterbox. Ebay will not give me a refund now because the delivery status is ‘delivered’ and so I’m at loss. Yodel take no responsibility and feel its the senders responsibility. REFUND from last Yodel is not possible. How pathetic!”
“Very late reply or no reply at all. Considering the way all the others work, Yodel is very bad in every way. Companies should use just post office instead. No Happy customer. Thank you Yodel for being this useless.”
“I must state that I have not recieved my parcel yet. if I'm honest, I dont think I will. Yodel has to be the only company I have had the displeasure of engaging with that has resulted to me laughing at serious errors although it simply is not funny.
My parcel was supposed to be "next day delivery". A week later, no one can tell me where the parcel is. Tracking hasn't updated since it went live. Rang the driver, what an experience. He said he is only the driver and cant help. Of course he can't, he most likely knows where my parcel is, funny the depot don't though.
Please research when ordering products online and where possible, check the courier. I will never use the company I ordered from sadly due to the fact they use Yodel.
Shocking service, can't speak to a real person. Rude web chat staff as well as those who shut the chat when you ask a valid question.
Still awaiting a response on an urgent priority base search at the depot to locate my parcel. Optimistic I will recieve feedback let alone the parcel...

“Appalling 'service'. I live in a 10 storey block of flats and just by pure chance found a card 5 days after their 'delivery' in the foyer to say that a parcel had been left in a safe location in the foyer itself! First of all I live on the 1st floor and neither was the card pushed through my letter box or the parcel left outside my door. Obviously too much trouble for the halfwit who got into the flats foyer but didn't bother to go up one floor but instead left the parcel in the foyer for anybody to steal as well as leaving the calling card in the 'junk mail' folder next to the caretakers office. I cannot believe the sheer stupidity of the individual concerned but can believe it of a company who really should be closed down for a complete lack of anything resembling an efficient courier service. I'm loathe to give them even one star!”
“Yodel are nothing but liars and thieves. Ordered a kingsize memory foam mattress topper. Tracked my delivery and was in all day. No parcel. At 3pm I had an email to say it had been delivered, through the letterbox. Online chat is a waste of time, they keep closing it down.
So the only conclusion to be drawn from this is that the driver has stolen it. I hope he slept well that night I'm now £80 out of pocket”
“Useless! Tracked delivery van, saw it stop outside, next thing the tracking said parcel was delivered but no knock, no card, no parcel. Van gone.
No phone line (other companies can still operate call centres, why is Yodel uniquely inept?).
Webchat takes ages to connect. Then gets cut off as I am typing my query - give me a chance for god's sake!
Second time I get through on webchat, they cannot contact the driver to ask what he did with the parcel. They suggest I contact the sender (like they'll know?!) or go up and down the road looking for my parcel. They were supposed to deliver it to me, not anywhere randomly - house even has giant numbers. It is not rocket science.
Webchat also use phrases that make no sense, and claim to have said thing earlier in the chat which they hadn't.
Thankfully the next day I see my neighbour and they have the parcel - they had a knock at the door and found the parcel, no driver to tell that it was for the next house along.
They invited an online review, and later replied to it offering to help. When emailed, they then said they couldn't due to Covid-19.
Useless, inept, incompetent, dishonest - sort it out Yodel. Delivering parcels is not brain surgery.”

Left a card saying my neighbour had my parcel, we share the same porch.
He did speak to the delivery driver asking him to leave the parcel in the porch as all other companies do.
No sign of the parcel so I can only assume the driver then walked off with it.
I was home but no ring on the door bell he had been and gone in 15 minuets. The porch is off the road and can’t be seen it’s in a private courtyard.
They can’t be contacted all useless automated phone response and their online chat is permanently busy.
Why are they still allowed to trade I don’t see a good review of their business anywhere - crooks”
“Yodel tracker said could not find address. Web chat would not speak to me said I wasn’t recipient cut me off. I check amazon order. It is MY sole account, MY deliver to name, MY credit card. Web chat said they would only chat to husband. His name not anywhere on order. They rudely cut me off again. Husband puzzled web chatted. They would not say how they got his name or what was wrong with delivery or address. They have breached data security by speaking to him about MY order. They delivering Monday. This is 2020 I do not need my husband to handle my life. I work have my own money! I feel belittled by Yodel. And am now very upset and low because of them. Yodel I have news - this is not 1950 women can do all kinds of things. Terrible terrible customer service. I want to give them minus stars. If It is not delivered Monday I will cancel order. So upset by this experience! Horrible”
“Terrible company and customer service. Ordered through amazon yodel tracker said address could not be found. Web chat wouldn’t talk to me as said I wasn’t the recipient. But I checked my order it is my amazon account my name on the delivery and my credit card. They said my husband was the recipient. They cut me off twice because of data security. My husband web chatted. Yodel would not tell him how they got his name or what was wrong with the address. They are now delivering Monday. This is 2020 I do not need my husbands permission to order and pay for my goods. What’s going on yodel - yodel breached data security by discussing MY order with him! Terrible terrible customer service. I am now extremely low and depressed by their behaviour. Avoid Using Yodel it’s not worth the hassle and being treated like in 1950s! I would give minus stars if I could.”
“Extremely poor service. I am a teacher working from home and urgently needed a laptop. The first message said the parcel had been delivered, which it had not. The message the next day said it was returned to the delivery centre as no one was in to get it in spite of the fact that there are five people living in the house. There was absolutely no way to contact them. Fortunately the company I ordered from was very helpful and dealt with my queries and I got a refund.”
“Ordered an item on April 30th 2020, as of today, May 8th 2020, I have still not recieved my order. On their tracking system it says it has been in the Aberdeen depot since May 2nd.
Only way to contact them seems to be via webchat. Did this and was told they had raised a base search for me as a high priority. Nothing further has come of this and no update on my order. THE ABSOLUTE WORST DELIVERY COMPANY IMAGINABLE!
How they are still in business I have no idea.”

Today after what seemed a lifetime finally got through to the CHATLINE.
What a waste of time that was the advisor was Rude and ended the chat because i was asking him questions he could not answer

“The delivery woman buzzed three times. Each time we answered but before we could even say hello she just walked off around the building only to come back and buzz again. Left no note, it was only after I called the company I was expecting a delivery from did they confirm that she had attempted delivery but was REFUSED entry.”

“Shocking! You were asked to deliver flowers because of a bereavement to a friend on 2 occasions and failed on both. The number given by yodel for the driver doesn't work. Web chat people were not helpful at all and closed down a conversation when they got fed up with me asking them to resolve the problem. I was at the property when the driver said he attempted to deliver, so i know he not telling the truth.”

“Extremely upset. My valuable parcels were launched over my garden fence. When I politely said you didn’t knock. She shouted I’ve been standing there for 10 minutes. I said no you haven’t my cctv confirmed it. She shouted in front of all my neighbours that she won’t deliver to me anymore. I am so embarrassed.
