Claimed to have tried to deliver twice, its lockdown - I've not been anywhere. Contacted the driver and he was useless

The delivery was estimated 3-5 pm. I was tracking the driver on the map with their provided link. The driver was delivering packages about 2 miles away in another area. The driver never came even close to our street and at 4.26 pm I see the delivery status change to: "We tried to deliver your parcel but it was refused at the door. Please contact the sender with any queries." I had kitten baby food which we ordered with urgent delivery, how stupid I have to be to refuse it? And if they say that no one was home - all 3 neighbors were home, why not to leave the package with them? You can't get on a phone with them, the same machine will repeat over and over again "There is a problem with your package, contact the sender." This company is a pointless use of air! I had to cancel my work for 2 continuous days just to wait for the package. Now we also due to an emergency appointment at the vet, as the kitten is intolerable to other foods and got unwell. Those are costs and not that small - ALL BECAUSE OF SLOPPY WORK OF THIS USELESS COMPANY!

When i received an email stating my parcel had been delivered when it had not, i contacted Yodel stating my issue and was told to contact the driver, after several attempts to contact the driver and getting no response i went back to Yodel customer care where i was told there was nothing more they could do and i would have to get in touch with the retailer myself and try to resolve the issue there. HORRENDOUS customer service with little to no help. Absolute disgrace.

Failed to deliver again. Nobody called. Nobody emailed with time the delivery guy is coming. No text messages. Nobody called my intercom. Like the dude just passed through and marked my parcel as impossible to deliver. Guys are you for real? DO NOT USE YODEL! DO NOT USE YODEL! DO NOT USE YODEL!

Order two cases of wine with a seller that uses Yodel as their courier. Delivery was set for today. Got my delivery slot for today between 1.53 and 3.53pm, and was 60th out 130 of the total number of deliveries the driver was making today. With the tracking number I was able to locate the driver on Yodel's website. At around 3.40pm he was mere 2 streets away and had only one delivery left to do, so I was patiently awaiting by the window, which overlooks the street and house entrance. But after 30 mins no-one had come so I checked the tracking app and to my surprise the driver tracker was gone and message popped up that 'my property cannot be located'. I've attached a picture of the house door from the main road to show the house number is not difficult to spot. Upon messaging Yodel through the webchat I was told the parcel is in the depot and it'll be delivered the next day as the driver could not find the property. I would mind the 24 delay except few hours later the tracking app's message has changed to 'sorry we've missed you, we left you a calling card', which is obviously an outright lie as I've been home all day! Very dodgy.

The drivers are not knocking at the door of the customer , many parcels are going missing Yodel driver seen throwing parcels over a wall in to the garden Not bothering to go knock on the door It’s disgraceful. Me for one won’t buy on line ever again there. Getting paid for nothing unfeeling don’t give a dam prat’s

Expected delivery from Argos - the driver never turned up and posted that he could not find property, every over delivery company and major shops like sainsbury, iceland, and argos can find the address. He had his phone switched off so you could not text him or phone him. The webchat was a total waste of time. Im not ordering from Argos for home delivery whilst they use this company.

Yodel again failed to deliver. Their tracker system does not work (I've been told purposely) waited till 9pm nothing. Complained twice before to Yodel MD and Littlewoods MD. Action was taken and apologies given as well as promises. All fake. Don't know why Littlewoods (Their trading name) keep using them as a courier. I haven't ordered for 6 months but thought they might have improved. They haven't. Will not order from Littlewoods again, MD knows how bad Yodel are but fails to take action, So I withdraw my custom. Yodel have full delivery instructions for me as well as phone numbers, especially as they previously brought a bottle of cheap champagne as an apology, took and double checked my details. Yodel = Fail Can you give less than 1 star. Keep away use another service. Try contacting Yodel if you have a problem. Good Luck. They know that they are so bad that it is almost impossible to contact them. Have a problem. Email the MD and copy your email to the organisation that sent the package. Maybe yodel might learn. Ha Ha not a chance in hell, atrocious organisation led by someone who probably prefers to play golf rather than have a competent organisation, he certainly hasn't attempted to improve.

I was suspecting a gpu for my sff build today. I had the driver come near my house but no-where near my house door. The driver simply looked at my house and drove away before i could ask for my package. Then she marked it as "We tried to deliver your parcel but couldn't access your property." Which was a blatant lie as she made no effort on coming near my door and ringing my door bell. And now im left with the tracker telling me that the delivery is on the way at 11pm at night which is definitely not true. Absolute terrible delivery company.

shambolic service.after tracking an item to be delivered i was shocked to see they had updated the site stating we missed you and card left. no card was left and i checked the cctv to make sure they had not attended as i home all day! i tried to contact them but no one answers the webchat or phone number. the site told me it would be delivered again next day. it is now day 5 with no parcel and no communication from them. total lies. totally useless

Drive couldn't be bothered to deliver parcel so said there was no access. I could see his last delivery as I was tracking his progress. We I had the notification to say no access, I walked the route. There was full access by vehicle from last delivery to my house. I have wasted the best part of my day off waiting for the parcel. A day wasted because of a lazy driver.

Unfortunately there isn't the option to leave zero stars, but I would if I could. I was expecting a delivery today, however I never received it, however I did get the customary 'sorry we missed you, we left a card', however it's not possible to leave a card, because there's no letter box only an intercom, and it's impossible that nobody was in, because during the day the reception desk is never left unattended, how are these people still in business, I've never had a good service from them.

The driver failed to find the entrance to our house so my fresh flowers are presumably sitting In the back of a van somewhere. No other company seems to lack the ability to “gain access to our property” We have had delivery problems with Yodel before. The message I received said all their operators on the web chat were busy and to try later. This has not changed all afternoon.

Dreadful service .i received e mail to say they had delivered , that was a downright lie .I have cctv and there had been no delivery . It was impossible to contact them but eventually they emailed to say “confirmed delivery and left safe the parcel there were a black car and brown front door “ I have a bright red car ! That was their investigation together with a recommendation that I contact the sender. Totally useless .

Everyone was rude, my animal is stuck in an airport - no one seems to care, I’ve been on the phone with the TSA, Yodel, and my sender and everyone seem extremely unprofessional. Asking me for an arm and a leg over a mistake that was made my the sender. Everything about this company seems extremely sketchy. New underlying issues and fees arising every time I look at my phone. It’s unbelievable.

Ordered an Item from Argos and the delivery service was Yodel , as soon as I saw it was them I knew it would be cocked up , I was right I received an email saying it had arrived but it didn’t now I have to collect it from Argos just so I don’t have to deal with Yodel rubbish service again , all i can say is AVOID !!!

For the second time in a week, Yodel have failed to pick up a parcel that I'm returning. Timeslot was given and nobody showed up, instead got a message (only halfway through the timeslot!) that my parcel wasn't picked up because it "wasn't ready". Got in touch and was told the driver had been and no-one was home. This is an outright lie, I've been here the entire time, and now I have been given two different stories as to why the parcel wasn't picked up. It seems obvious to me that the driver just wanted to get around his route as fast as possible and has lied in order to miss a few stops. It doesn't help that "customer service" have also lied in order to cover for him. This has caused a great deal of inconvenience due to having wasted two days now sat around waiting, not to mention the return of the item being paramount in order that I get refunded so I can replace it. Why do companies insist on using this incompetent and dishonest courier?
