I do all my shopping online, I have never had such a terrible experience as I did, this time, with YODEL. 1st time - The driver couldn't find the property, okay fair enough, I rang the company sending the parcel and asked them to pass on my number. 2nd time - The driver couldn't find the property, wait, didn't he/she have my number? 3rd time - couldn't get access, wait a minute, that was a complete and utter filthy lie. After MANY attempts, and being cut off by the robot woman from hell, I managed to speak to 2 people, one blatantly lied to me and the other sniggered and then cut me off. I then tried to live chat, 1st one (Keenan) cut me off even though it would have been obvious to him that I was typing. The other twit, I forget her name, cut me off also, I didn't think I was such a slow typer, no that's right I'm not slow, 10 seconds is unreasonable. If you can help it, never use these numpties, they will not help you, AT ALL, if there is a problem

Told me parcel was delivered and signed for 2 weeks ago!! Router from Virgin. I know nothing about it and certainly didnt sign for the delivery. No "proof of delivery" available on the tracking system, no telephone number to speak to anyone in customer services and the webchat appears to have been busy for the last two weeks ie. since the date this package was suppose to have been delivered. How does this company survive???

The delivery guy just came and I went to my window and he said he's leaving my parcel outside. I told him he cant, as the area I live in, is hi crime rated. I told him I'm coming down, he said hurry up then, I explained to him I'm disabled and he then took up the parcel and went into his van and drove away. All this was caught in cctv on my home camera an yodel said no delivery was attempted. You can see in the puc I was talking to him at the window he pounted and then took the boxes and left.

Worst delivery company ever....do not use them!! Ordered a parcel 8 days ago, yodel attempted delivery two days later and did leave a card to say so and that the parcel was returned to the depot for redelivery. Option to change delivery address made and confirmed by yodel as successful with redelivery on Monday...chased Monday....and Tuesday...and wedsnesday....and Thursday and still no sign of my parcel. Despite being told by several online chat assistants that my parcel will be out today, then telling me my work address (a GP surgery so pretty well known and well signposted in a village) is incorrect, then its fine and will be out tomorrow...refused to give me an actual contact number to call to speak to a person just a useless automated line....this is a jacket my son has saved for with his weekend job money and is still no closer to receiving!!!!

After having bad experiences in the past I decided to have my parcel delivered to a 24 hour Collect+ store so that the driver could not say "customer not in" etc like is often the case. How wrong I was! Updated tracking "store closed Now for an unknown reason my parcel has been returned to sender! I can not understand how Yodel can be so bad yet stay in business.

Truly shocking ..Please don't waste your money, this has got to be the worst courier experience that I have ever had the misfortune to receive. Parcel, sent by me, still not delivered to the recipient, virtually impossible to get through to a "Human", and if you do they are unable to contact the depot or provide you with any information nor can a manger, on the last call, several attempts over a whole time wasted afternoon plus the call cost expense, which was over 40 minutes and am still no further as to finding out where my parcel is and when it will be delivered. Customer "services" continually ask you the same questions to which you will have answered numerous times only minutes before , what a fob off. Truly a shambolic company and to be honest don't know how they can run a business in this manner. Still waiting for someone to call me back with an answer..not holding my breath that this will ever happen. No excuse on failed delivery etc. etc. as delivery to a business. Would NEVER again use this company. SWERVE this courier and be aware that Collectplus use Yodel ..they could not get through to the depot either !!!!!

Really poor service. I took a day off work to be in for a parcel. The driver recorded that he had attempted delivery and left a card - neither was true. I was then assured that it would be delivered the following day. Again it failed to arrive. After numerous lengthy phone calls and another failed delivery, the parcel will have to be returned to the sender. Amazed at how appalling bad their service was, avoid if you can.

Today is 18th of September and I'm still looking for the parcel which was supposed to be delivered on 6th of September. It took me few days of calling to go throw customer service. Even it's open until 7 pm, it's impossible to speak to somebody after 5 pm. My tracking information says it was delivered, but it wasn't. No calling card left from them, no email, no missed call. I called Yodel and they told me they will investigate it and they will let me know up to 24 hours. They haven't. So I called them again .. they were supposed to call me up to 3 hours. They haven't again. I did probably spend more money to call customer service then for my package which I still don't have. I have never seen so irresponsible company. The delivery fee means I'm paying somebody to do a job.. they haven't done the job and they lost my parcel. Who is gonna pay for it??

Yodel claimed to have delivered my parcel, despite not having done so. Customer service was slow and unhelpful, and made seemingly no effort to resolve my issue. I am still waiting for my parcel.

Received text saying parcel "on it's way" and is "out for delivery today". Great, I'll wait in 'cos I'm looking forward to the parcel! Three hours later, receive text saying "sorry we missed you". Checked online and apparently I wasn't in and the driver left a calling card. Absolute lie! I was in the whole time, no call, no card. The driver may have driven down my street (in a town) so he was at the approximate location to state he'd tried to deliver (they have GPS tracking to check the driver's location) but he never came to the house or left a card. Much prefer courier services where they have to take a 'photo of the door as evidence they've been to the right place. The only way to photograph my door is to come up the steps to actually get in front of it - so courier's can't then lie about attempting delivery.

The yodel driver stole my package, yodel are a bunch of incompetent thieves. NEVER EVER USE YODEL, I honestly wouldn't trust anybody at this so called company. If you can't afford Christmas this year, I suggest getting a job at yodel. You will never have to buy a Christmas or birthday present ever again as the drivers can steal any item they wish with complete impunity. Once again Yodel are a DISHONEST company NEVER USE YODEL.

Absolute disgrace and falsifying tracking info Yodel driver scanned the parcel as "Delivered through the letterbox", then realised it couldn't fit in and left the parcel infont of the house in the rain for everybody to see. Needless to say it was not there when we came home after a long weekend. Contacted Yodel who copy/pasted same response 4 times to contract the seller. As the tracking says "delivered" all - seller, ebay, PayPal - refused to review the case. I am £61 down due to false tracking info. Asked Yodel for a) money; b) revert tracking to reflect reality; c) send official apology via post so I can present to PayPal and/or ebay. Response came the same "Contact seller" - absolute disgrace and wouldn't even read my complaint (resolver RES4295431) - they just deny any responsibility whilst their drivers don't have any common sense!!!

"Terrible delivery service. No one called, texted, e-mailed or left any form of communication for the 4 times they "tried" to deliver. We have a gate yes, but only one person called on the 5th try about that and he was at the wrong house. I directed him to the right house but no contact at all saying he couldn't get in. None of the other drivers even attempted to communicate. Tried to re-arrange delivery or arrange to collect it myself but I can't as the website keeps telling me that, "Your parcel(s) cannot currently be rearranged. Your parcel is on its way to you." So I can't even re-arrange it. There phone system is no better, With no options to talk to a human and the automated system just kicks me out as apparently my package hasn't been out of delivery at least once. Two different methods saying two different things. Web chat is very slow, information about other customers was sent to me instead and generally not helpful. In fact I waited at least 10 minutes just to get a reply."

I orderd a collection on 6 Sept, stayed at home for whole day, nothing happened, phoned them next day, they promised to collect on 7 Sept, nothing happened. Then I asked for a refund and cancellation of my order, they didn't. On 8 Sept recieved a text message that they would collect today.(again). Managed to get another promise of refund through a live chat, no compensation. Will never use them again.

"Parcel of plants to be delivered on 2 nd Sept 2017 did not happen but apparently a card was dropped off at wrong address" we had waited in all day .Told it would be delivered on 4th Sept. rang on morning of 4th to offer mobile number and directions, this was not accepted .Waited in all day but no delivery, tracking stated a delay and delivery would happen on 5th, I rang Yodel on morning of 5th to be told it had been taken off van . Stated I wanted to make an official complaint against company [If only I could find an address] Told I would get a call back with an explanation. At 3.37 parcel arrived , Iwas given wrong parcel first , clearly not plants .On opening plants I found a tangled mash of soil, roots ,stems and leaves , no use at all despite box clearly stating LIVE PLANTs handle with care . I would not recommend Yodel to anyone . Brian Jones

"I've ordered a virgin box to my university accommodation. To ease through the transition I set the delivery date a few days before I moved in such that I could have the internet set up for my moving in date. Yodel guaranteed to deliver my parcel on the 7/9/17. Needless to say they did not deliver on time and as a result, I've wasted £20 sitting around in an empty flat for a full day. I'm outraged at this and with little to no help from their end it's continued to annoy me. Abysmal - would be my 1-word review of yodel. How are they still operating with such low customer satisfaction?"

I had a terrible experience with Yodel! I was moving from Glasgow to Edinburgh and Yodel was a cheaper choice rather than hiring a man with the van. I ordered 24hour service. I stayed at home for the whole day since their pick up time is 8am-6pm (how accurate!). I was checking online constantly if the status of my parcels hasn't changed. My parcels weren't collected that day, the status changed to 'Not home. Card Left' with the time 16:00. Absolutely ridiculous, I haven't left home and haven't got any card! I am 100% sure that they haven't even tried to collect the parcels. The phone number provided on their website is absolutely useless - you are talking to the robot which tells you the status of your order and that's it. Web chat again wasn't helpful. It seems that people who work there are not trained to deal with the situations and just have the answers which they copy and paste. The lady I was chatting with told me that she is not trained to deal with the collection queries and guided me to the page 'How to get a refund' (doesn't make any sense). Anyway, I rearrange the pickup day to the following day (another day lost staying at home). The man who came to collect the parcel was incredibly rude. I tried to ask him few questions but he told me he doesn't know anything and left. My parcels had to be in Edinburgh the following day. Guess what! It wasn't. My boyfriend even took a day off from work to stay at home and collect the parcels. Such a waste! And then Saturday we had important plans and couldn't stay at home and that's when they decided to deliver the parcels (of course, we missed it). Overall it took them 6 days to collect and deliver my parcels even though it was 24hour service. Oh, by the way, one of the boxes was delivered damaged. Extremely bad service. Won't use it ever again and will advise others not to use it either!

Not the first time an expected delivery has "disappeared" from tracking, resulting in me not receiving goods that I have paid for. I either cancel my original order and demand a refund or get supplier to resend using a different carrier. If I could give these pack of piss takers a zero I would 😠
