Yesterday I got an email from Yodel saying a parcel had been left for me in my porch and a note put through the door by the driver. As we were both home all day yesterday and there was no note and no parcel, this was puzzling. I did an online chat and was told the non-delivery would be reported to the depot and it would need a talk with the driver, and I'd get a call-back within 24 hours. No call-back. So I did an online chat again this evening with someone who, like last night, had an Asian name. She asked me to repeat the tracking number as she couldn't find it. So I did. She replied that she couldn't find it, told me to contact the sender and ended the call without giving me chance to reply. My reply would have been that as I didn't receive a note from the driver, how the f*** am I supposed to know who the sender was?? Tried to contact Yodel again a few minutes later and the live chat says 'sorry, we have shut up for the day.' What a joke. I seem to remember there was a TV documentary a while ago which filmed Yodel drivers throwing parcels over back gates and doing anything to suggest that they had been delivered.

A pathetic excuse for a delivery service you'd be better using a blind carrier pigeon. After purchasing an order from Amazon on the 5th Aug the company supplying the goods used Yodel to 'deliver' my parcel, charging £7.99 for delivery. I'll make sure I don't fall for that next time. On the 9th Aug I received a text telling me the parcel had been delivered and signed for at my address that day. Neither myself or the other occupants had received this delivery nor had any attempt be made to do so (Royal Mail & Hermes had managed it the same day) After trawling through their mine field of a website, I eventually found a contact number. The operator told me that they would contact the driver, get him to pick the parcel up and phone me back immediately. After waiting 2 hours, nothing. So I rang again and was basically told they couldn't contact the driver and to phone the following morning. A totally wasted day caused by a Yodel driver that would be better suited driving a little tykes car and an operator better suited to ask if you've had PPI.

I ordered a tablet from gearbest in China. It said it was being shipped 'UK express' and would take about 10 days. In the past have not had a problem with gearbest stuff so did not worry about it. After about 3-4 weeks I had a proper look at tracking. It had reached Britain and was in the hands of yodel. Not only that but the history showed me it had been delivered to my porch (it hadn't). Then, AFTER being delivered to my porch the tablet was out for delivery!! I apparently missed the driver three times and they left three calling cards (I didn't receive one). Then the next thing on the tracking was that the parcel was returned to sender. I contacted gearbest and they said it was not their fault I eventually managed to contact yodel online 'help' which was another experience Yodel has to be the worst company I have ever dealt with So... I'm left with nothing

Yodel review Worst delivery company I have dealt with do not use this company. I ordered a shipment worth over half a grand for my company from my supplier in china and it was passed onto to Yodel to fulfil the rest of delivery and ultimately, they lost my package. Here’s how the whole process went: I received two e-mails from yodel saying they missed me and they left me a card and they will redeliver. No card was left behind which means they lied and did not actually go to my house. I thought nothing of it and opted to pick it up from their warehouse. I then received an e-mail saying my parcel was ready for collection. I proceeded to going to their warehouse to pick up the package spending £20 in the process getting there. I arrived at the warehouse waited for 30 minutes for them to locate the parcel only to find out they could not locate the parcel and they could not get through the driver who had my parcel. I demanded to speak to a manager on site. There were no managers except the health and safety manager who told me not to wait and he will chase this down and have parcel delivered by the end of the day. He even took my number down and said he will call me back to let me know when it arrives. He never called and I did not receive my parcel that day. I called the yodel customer services the following day and every day after that to try and see what why my parcel was and to get my parcel as the goods that were coming was supposed to be my income for august 2017. Each time I phoned they would tell me they would call me back and they don’t know where my parcel is and they are waiting for a response back from the warehouse where my item was supposedly kept. I did not want to waste £20 a day travelling to the warehouse and back without being certain my parcel was there. I asked for the warehouse phone number and they said the warehouse does not have a number and cannot give it to me. I got a lot of different stories from the different people I spoke to from the customer services team. One told me the driver delivered to the wrong address and he was sent back pick it up and delivery it to me. Another one told me it was at the wrong warehouse. After about the 50th call which at this point was 10 days after the first delivery attempt a customer service rep told me that the warehouse cannot locate the parcel and I must follow the missing parcels procedure. I however cannot claim only the seller who sent me the parcel can which was extremely frustrating. So after wasting 2 hours travelling to the venue and back and spending over £60 on my phone calling yodels premium number I do not even have my package. Annoying thing to note is it takes ages to get through to a human customer service person when you call because it is an automated voice that talk to you and tries to sort out your problem first. Overall this was a frustrating and bad experience I do not want anyone else to experience. I was lied to on constant occasions and this was the worst customer experience I have had in my life. Please if you are a business considering using yodel as your delivery company head my warning and do not use them. They provided horrible customer service and are unreliable as was as losing my package I also wasted money chasing it up and suffered a loss of earning too. My business reputation has also suffered because I had customers who were waiting for my product and I promised at a certain time and because yodel lost it I failed to deliver which as a business starting off is a nightmare. I repeat do not use this company they will ruin you. I never write reviews but I was compelled too. I am reasonable person, I understand accidents happen which is fine but with how they dealt with my case made an already bad situation worse. Royalmail, dhl, Parcelforce are far more reliable companies who have delivered to me before and I have had no problems so I am disappointed that my first and probably only experience with yodel was so awful. Awful Company - avoid at all costs. Failed to collect parcel for 3 days , despite us having arranged and pre-paid for the collection. No email address or contact number. Only way to communicate is via an online chat where call back were promised n several occasions but still awaited. Ended up having to cancel and re-arrange with parcelforce. Would never use Yodel again.

I've never seen such kind of customer service and service providers' in my entire life. Very disappointed. For next time when I buy things if they company use YODAl I'll cancel it, automatically or I try to find out before I place an order So Awful I have waited my item all day long and give them my phone number if my door bell isn't working but all of a sudden on their tracking app it says 'we missed u' no driver pass to my flat, no card left then I tried to contact the customer service and said 'i'll email to the depot probably they we'll come today(same day that I contact them) but we'll call u later to tell u the depot feedback' no phone call and I don't trust her either she emailed them so, I phoned them about 2 hrs later after I contacted the first one then I told her about earlier conversation with her colleagues but so I said I wanna find out the progress about the email that's sent by her colleagues but she told me no email sent to depot so She said 'I gonna send now probably they'll come tomorrow(next day)' I can't trust her again so I contact the sender which is the most polite and helpful he told me if I won't received in the next day, asked to email him and then he'll arrange to send it by using another carriers'. I'll see if he turns up tomorrow. Bad and poor delivery provider (YODEL) on the earth!!!!

Driver was extremely rude and had a threatening demeanour about her. When I asked her to please from now on all packages go to the back of the house she started to get abusive and rushed off to her van to collect paperwork and told me that that wasn't where she was told to put any packages yet there is a sign distinctly right over the postbox stating so. She then continued to shove the papers so far into my face that she actually punched me in the forehead. I then told her to get off my property otherwise I would throw her off physically. Now I am blacklisted by yodel because apparently I was the abusive one. Absolutely the worst career service in the World. I have worked for many Currier services and if I had spoken to my customers like she did to me I would have been fired. I don't care if they are working for less than minimum wage. If that is the case then there is one easy solution. Don't work for them.

Horrific customer service. Absolutely painful experience. I'd much rather be kicked in the nethereigons than have to speak to anybody from this delivery company ever again. The reason being the following:- I expected my delivery of my bedside table two days ago. I was excited, I bought it from Very and I had a wardrobe coming too (from a different delivery company). My house sits on a new development so it was obvious there would be a slight issue with the delivery, but I expected Yodel to contact me if there was an issue locating the property. I tracked the delivery on my mobile and was watching down the street as I waited for it to appear. But guess what? No delivery driver appeared! So I got straight onto the phone and tried to online chat to someone on the website. It took me 5 attempts to finally get through to someone and actually keep the conversation going without it disconnecting. Keeping the conversation going was almost as difficult as a first date. Anyway, they said they couldn't locate the property. No problem, they'll deliver it tomorrow. So, tomorrow arrives, a bright sunny morning with a slight breeze, certainly a fresh summers day! And I contacted Yodel and spoke to someone and just said 'listen 'ere mate. You've gotta deliver this today cos now it's kinda urgent bro'. And do you know what he said? They said 'sir, your parcel was loaded onto our delivery van this morning, but then it was removed'. Excuse me? You put my parcel onto your van and then REMOVED IT?? WHY? WHAT IS THE POINT IN THAT? Anyway, after multiple successful efforts of keeping my composure, I gave them delivery instructions and my mobile number and they said they'll call me if there is a problem. 'Excellent!' I thought to myself. 'Finally I can enjoy the pleasure of my brand new, mirrored, bedside table later on today!' Honestly, I hadn't been this excited since Chelsea had beaten Bayern Munich in the Champions League Final back in 2012. It was a moment of pure bliss. So, I waited outside with my phone tracking the delivery yet again. And quite remarkably, you wouldn't believe what happened; they didn't appear, they didn't contact me, they did absolutely nothing. So that was it, I got straight on the phone and eventually got through to their rather unhelpful and lazy team of customer service people, through the online chat. I explained to them the situation and they said they will try again tomorrow. I said 'why didn't the driver bother to ring me when I gave them my mobile number. I told them that earlier in the day they had said they would contact me if they had a problem'. And they replied with the folllowing, 'our drivers, for health and safety reasons, don't carry mobile phones'. I said 'hold on a second mister. You are telling me your drivers don't have mobile phones? For health and safety? So what happens if they have an issue and they need to contact someone urgently? Surely it's health safety to HAVE a mobile phone? What happens if they break down (that's the van, not the driver (not that it would surprise me if a Yodel delivery driver did actually have a breakdown considering how useless they are at finding my address)), what happens if the parcels suddenly fly out the back of the van? How will they call for help? What if they get mugged? So basically, what they are saying is that they send their drivers out on a wild goose chase, or like headless chickens, and hope for the best, keeping their fingers crossed they don't kill themselves in the process. So, understandably I was pissed (not drunk 'pissed', more pissed off and in need of a stiff drink). Bear in mind, I spoke to Yodel this morning and stated clearly the delivery instructions to locate my property. That call was made early in the morning, just after they had taken my parcel OFF the van. They said to me that the delivery instructions 'did not reach the driver in time'. I SPOKE TO YOU AND YOU SAID THE PARCEL WAS NOT EVEN ON THE VAN AT THE TIME. IF THE DEPOT IS IN WALTHAM CROSS (which I believe it might me) THEN SURELY IT DOESNT TAKE 45 MINUTES TO TELL A DRIVER WHERE MY HOUSE IS. Then again it might do because the majority of the drivers don't even speak a word of English anyway. So I made this complaint on their web chat, and lady I was speaking to suddenly disconnected the chat immediately as I was making the complaint. She didn't just 'disconnect', she actually sent a message stating 'I haven't heard from you for a while, so I am guessing your issue is now resolved. I will now disconnect the chat, if you need further assistance please call us on...'. I HAVE JUST SENT YOU A SERIES OF ABOUT 5 MESSAGES OF COMPLAINT. OF COURSE MY ISSUE ISN'T RESOLVED YOU IMBECILE. WHERE IS MY PARCEL??' In the end I chose to ring them and speak to someone on their 'slightly-more-helpful customer service team'. And apparently they are going to tell the driver the delivery instructions tonight, probably translated into whatever language he speaks, I'm guessing something like Ukrainian or Polish, (shout-out to my Polish relatives!) and let's hope that my delivery finally arrives tomorrow. (Which it clearly won't because they can't even contact me when they are near so they don't stand a hope in hell at finding my property). Thanks Laurence So thanks Yodel. I'll be sitting here waiting for my delivery tomorrow

One of the worst courier companies ever. No customer service at all. Yesterday evening I found a delivery note stating that the last attempt of delivery would be the following day and that I could rearrange it if I call. First thing in the morning, I call Yodel and the automatic service says that the parcel is out for delivery today. It didn't give me the chance to reschedule or to speak with any customer adviser, no options left, the connection cut off. The note didn't say what time they attempted the delivery the 1st time round and the reason why they couldn't deliver. We have a 24hrs concierge service who deals with all deliveries, so no reason for them not being able to leave it with concierge.

Paid for 1 day delivery, there has been some sort of delay, and was advised it would take 3; which was a guesstimate as the chat advisor clearly didn't know. Live chat service was shocking, slow and border line moronic. Advising me to speak to eBay for a postage refund, even though I highlighted several times I was the seller/sender. Received no help in how to file a claim for a refund, or file a complaint, was simply given a 'complaints' number. So, onto next portion of complaint. That wasnt a complaints number, which I mentioned to the advisor on live chat, to which he offeres no further help. It's impossible to speak to an actual person. Phone line is entirely automated and no email address for a complaint, just an address to send a letter to. A letter, in this day and age?! In short, they have no customer service and are awful to deal with. My complaint wasn't recorded and right now, I've paid extra for a service they haven't provided, and zero sign I'll get my money back.

1 Star is still too much for this excuse of a company. They told me that they could not find the house, despite the fact that 100% of other companies can. Customer service is shocking. I was the last delivery of the day (51) and was tracking it all day. I ended up rescheduling the delivery to Friday as I had to go away for a bit. Put England at the bottom of the address just to make sure the driver could find the house.

Waited in all day for my parcel. Tracked it and it got to 17 deliveries before mine. Next time I checked it said they had tried to deliver but I wasn't in! Not impressed as they clearly couldn't be bothered to finish the days deliveries. Another time they left a parcel in my recycling bin the day before it was due to be emptied. Luckily I checked the bin before I put it out. Also they have pushed parcels under our metal gate. This has resulted in them being completely chewed by my dog.

Blatantly lied about failed delivery attempts. The state of the parcel when it did arrive was shocking. The goods were damaged so badly they were rendered useless. If you can get an alternative courier I urge you to do so. Yodel are appalling.
