Lie number 1 Attempted delivery.no one home.
I was at home fitting a new front door.
Lie number 2 Oh sorry driver had no access to the address there isn't even a gate.
Lie number 3 he couldn't find the address.
It will be delivered tomorrow.
Next day it shows nothing on tracking customer service said it will only show once it's loaded onto van.
11.30 still nothing. Customer service said we deliver til 9pm.
Rang at 2pm still nothing same lies so I asked why the parcel is not even on a van yet just more lies.
Rang at 5.30 told it was going to be delivered.
Now 9.47 pm and you guessed it.
Nothing.
This is completely normal for Yodel they are useless.
No tracking not customer service number to speak with anyone just automated rubbish sending you round and round.
Mickey mouse company full of foreign chat people spewing the same rubbish lies.
I rang ebay who said they hear this all the time and recommend any future orders ask the seller not to use yodel.
Well I won't that's eBay and a John Lewis order and a ninja order all lies lies lies.”
“Second time having a package delivered to me by this god awful company. First time they didn't even bother picking it up from the depot for 3 weeks and were completely useless on support, I had to contact the company who I bought my package from to contact Yodel directly. Now for the past 4 days, I've had the same message around 6pm (ish) saying that they missed me and will reschedule. I've been sat in the front room waiting for a knock or anything but haven't even heard them try to deliver. I have double checked and confirmed my address and checked with neighbours
Terrible company, terrible support, apparently terrible drivers, avoid!”
“The courrier just tossed the parcel god knows where, said that it was "front porch" and posted a photo of some random house. There is no other house within the 5 mile radius of the address that I put, so I have no idea where this could be. I tried 3 times to get help with their livechat service, but it was absolutely useless, it was literally like talking to a computer. Afterwards, they did some kind of a review of the process and just informed me that they don't know where the parcel was placed and that I should contact the sender. Just trying to evade being responsible and making it as difficult as possible to complain.
Luckily the value of the package was relatively low (around £20), otherwise I would consider taking legal action just because of the insulting way they handled the entire process. Terrible company”
“The first day, their van showed in tracking as 1 delivery away, and at the end of our road, then tracking suddenly said there was a delay due to bad weather. (No bad weather at my part of the road). I walked out in the extremely light rain (so light I didn't even put my coat on!) to look for them but the van had gone. Then at the end of the second day they said there was a problem with my address, told me to go to Chat (which was closed by then) to correct it and didn't deliver. But when I went to reschedule they had my address there perfectly. Today they've not bothered again, the second of the Chat guys I spoke to eventually came up with the dubious excuse: 'my address isn't on their Satnav'. Well, my house has been here since 1960, no other courier has ever had a problem, (it's a normal street, numbered as usual, odds one side evens the other, clear street name signs at each end... )! So, still no delivery, and neither Yodel nor the company I ordered from can tell me where it is. Yodel's website says it'll come today, but as it's not on the tracking at all and the tracking hasn't been updated for 3 days, and it's now later than when both the previous drivers gave up and made excuses, I really doubt it. Ask for things to be sent with someone else instead. Yodel is not worth the stress.”
“Id give 0 stars if I could. The drivers seems to be imcompetant and cannot find my address, even after my what3words address was given. So spoke to customer services, they couldn't do anything until the depot responded. How could they let such stupid drivers on the road?”
“Virgin media gave me a date for delivery but first message from yodel on that date said parcel to be delivered the NEXT day.....arranging to be home on the original date was a total waste of my time”
“Like many other customers I have been told that my parcel is ‘out for delivery’ for the last 5 days . Then there is a problem with my address , and the driver can’t find it . Next the tracking stops 5 drops from my house and nothing arrives . Then the tracking stops altogether . This company are utterly inept and useless and should be shut down . I shall not buy anything from any seller who uses this ( non) delivery outfit .
I have now turned my attention to the supplier of the goods I have ordered as it is their responsibility to supply what I have paid for .

First time it was an portable AC
They did not deliver and started sending me lame excuses, that we could not deliver as we couldn’t enter the property
I changed the delivery date and waited the whole day
They did not come and send me the same message
Contacted customer services and they said they don’t have it and asked me to contact the supplier
Contacted the supplier they said they have sent it to the courier.
I never had the item delivered
Second time it was an item bought on Amazon. Yodel again did not deliver and said they attempted delivery. I had to get a refund
Third time again they did the same.
Did not deliver and said that they made an attempt. How? Did not ring my flat entry phone system, did not call me and just left without delivering.
Completely unprofessional incompetent and all they give you is a bunch of lies.

“Yodel were supposed to deliver 2 large parcels on 14th Oct, and simular to other reviews I've read, they did not make the 2 hour slot they gave me, next day on tracker it said sorry we missed you and that they left a card, but there was no card. I changed delivery date, which was confirmed by yodel, there was no tracking available and no delivery, i changed date and address which they again confirmed, but still no tracking and no delivery, when I phoned automated service, because you will never ever speak to a human! It confirmed it had my date and address changes and would be with me soon, this went on for 4 days!! I phoned very who my order was with, and they found out from yodel that they were not going to deliver the parcels now and I would have to go to depot and pick them up!! I am livid by now, but very said to cancel order and then reorder, and they are coming tomorrow, I just hope it's not yodel. This is disgusting!! I think the drivers say they have attempted delivery three times because they know there's probably a policy that states customers must pick up after three attempts. We'll yodel you need to get a grip on this or your going to go bust, I know I will never use you, and I'll be warning as many businesses and companies to give you a wide birth if they want to keep customer, shocking!!”

“On two separate occasions the company arranged day and time for delivery. Twice they said they attempted the delivery . This is false as I was home on both occasions, on the second occasion I went out of my way and left my front door ajar and kept my passage light on. No card was left. Trust is lost ..”
“Its not just once its all the time. Its not my driver its the inadequate system. All the messages are confusing, truncated to the point where they are meaningless and the timings and live tracking dont work at all. Its now 17.02. I began tracking my delivery at 13.04 for a window of 13.04 to 15.08. Two hours late and the tracking shows the same location for the last hour one stop away. Its always like this so much so that I have cancelled two orders now because they use yodel as the delivery partner. In conclusion your delivery is always a problem!”
“Driver verbally abuses female customers by swearing and shouting at them all cos the he lost one of the parcels so he only had 1 of 2 parcels if he found the second parcel he bring it back but want my other half to except as if both had been delivered really yodel. Luckily she refused and that why the driver lost it .”
“On the 6th of October, I placed an order on eBay. It was posted using Yodel the next day.
According to their app and website, it arrived at my local delivery depot on the 10th of October.
I was first promised delivery by the end of that day, the parcel did not come. I used the live chat to speak to a representative who told me it would then be coming on the 11th by 9pm, and again, it did not. I was then told by yet another representative it would come on the 12th which was a Saturday, again by 9pm, it didn't.
After this, I was then told yet again it would arrive on Monday by 9pm which, of course, it did not.
I refused to listen to any other dates told to me by a representative as clearly they are just guessing. I then get told on live chat that the last scan was on the 10th and that they have lost the parcel in the depot, and that a manual search will be initiated.
First of all, you should NOT have your parcel lost in their own depot, and second of all, it took them 3 days to give me the result of the "search", which was that they did not find it.
At one point in-between all this, I was on a live chat to somebody else who was giving useless information, who then eventually cut me off after 45 minutes ! No professionalism whatsoever.
I had many contradicting emails from Yodel such as one saying the search hasn't yet been done, then 5 minutes later another saying it was done the day before and it was not found.
On the 18th of October, the "parcel journey" updated saying it has been sent back to the seller, but the seller was told they did not find it !
At the time of writing, neither of us have the parcel and instead I have had to get a refund from the seller. Who knows where the parcel ended up.. !
AVOID USING YODEL !!!!!!”
“Anyone know where this is? Yodel maintain this is my address according to their satnav. It isn’t but my package is shown behind a plant pot. So if anyone does recognise the plant pot and can tell me where it is I could go there and retrieve my package as Yodel certainly isn’t interested in doing anything about it.”
