Absolutely furious, how this company still runs is a beyond belief! I received an email today confirming delivery of my order to a 'safe place' being 'front porch' and that a card was left. NO card left and I do NOT have a front porch so where this parcel has ended up is a mystery. Gave them benefit of doubt and tried to call - well what a joke that is. Impossible to get through. Live chat also unavailable therefore questions about delivery times and communication with company is not applicable as this is made completely impossible!

Yodel delivered my parcel to a different street (!), didn't leave a card and wouldn't tell me the address where they had left it until the original supplier got involved. When they did tell me the address it was a week after theyd delivered and the people who lived there wouldn't answer the door. Yodel offered to pick up the parcel but didn't. They have consistently failed to get in touch with information I needed and when I requested a call from a manager between specific times which didn't happen, I called up to find there was no manager there and I had been promised the impossible. It is 12 days after they delivered my parcel to the wrong place and I still don't have it. Yodel have taken every opportunity they could to make a mistake, and are frustrating disinterested in sorting this out.

Giving Yodel 1* review as unable to make it any lower ! I waited in all day for my package to be delivered. Got TWO emails to say it had been delivered at 13.02 and also at 15.05. So what was that all about? Not delivered to my address. Contacted CEO of Yodel - Elaine Boyle. She said the driver's geocodes were broken, so he delivered parcel to wrong address. Driver would be interviewed and try to retrieve parcel ! Parcel never arrived. This seems to be Yodel's standard reply and they take NO responsibility whatsoever for their drivers' incompetence or dishonesty. I have been told to take it up with the innocent seller of the item. What an appalling, dishonest company. When will sellers / senders realise that Yodel is such an incompetent firm ?

I've always had probelsm with yodel they're basically the cowboys of the package delivery sector. Ordered from mother care and driver said he delivered it which the driver didn't now mother care is performing an investigation. Ffs mothercare by the time I get my item my kid will be in school.

Checked tracking on our package to find out it had been sent back to sender because apparently we refused to accept the package as we hadn’t ordered it. Used web chat to ask what had happened and told to talk to the sender then disconnected whilst we were typing another question. I won’t be buying from a company if they only use these cowboys again.

You were due to deliver my wine from ALDI between 11.01am and 1.01pm on Wednesday 7th August. When I checked progress at 12.30pm, your website told me that I had refused the delivery because it was damaged! Nobody had knocked at my door all morning so that was a lie. I contacted ALDI, who very kindly arranged another order. This was supposed to be delivered by you today (Saturday 10th). Even though I had previously told you that I was happy for my goods to be left with any of my neighbours, and you had acknowledged this, your driver still returned it to the depot because I was out. So, in just under a week, you have managed to damage my goods whilst in your care, and then ignore my request to leave the replacement consignment with one of my neighbours if I was out. Is your mission to deprive people of their goods, rather than deliver them? This is not the first time that I have experienced problems with deliveries by your company. Why reputable companies continue to use your third rate so-called “service” escapes me, as it really isn’t fit for purpose. I will be contacting ALDI Customer Services tomorrow to make my feelings known, and will also be suggesting once again that they try to find an alternative delivery service that, unlike YODEL, actually tries to get the items to their customers in a timely manner.

I wasnt home yesterday for my delivery and they didn't bother to leave my parcel with a neighbour. The number provided for the driver is not valid. Was told yesterday by the web chat it would be delivered today and it hasn't. Not even any updated tracking information so now I will cancel my order and as the same as other people will never use any company who uses this company for deliveries again.

Wish I could give 1 star but unfortunately thats not an option. Without doubt the worst courier company every to have operated. I cannot for the life of me understand why any business would trust these morons with their parcels.

this company should be shot down....waited now 6 days and still not got. said they had left a calling card...they did not. trying to speak to them is impossible all foreign speaking and cannot understand what there saying. we had ordered parts from vax and told them they need to change there carriers as this company is a total waste of time

The first delivery we had from Yodel we weren't at home to accept the package, so they threw it over our garden fence instead! As the parcel was a pram, car seat and other safety equipment for a baby, the parcels were then all damaged and got soaked in the rain. All parcels were written off by the company selling them and we had to get them collected and new items delivered again. The next delivery we were home for, but the man delivering was incredibly rude. He kept shouting at us in a foreign language and then threw the parcels at us. We didn't know who he was as he was dressed very scruffily and until we saw the parcels we considered calling the police! Awful, awful service. Would put us off using a company if we knew they used Yodel for delivery.

2nd time I've used Yodel and without a doubt the last. Both times I've never received the parcel even though we have been at home. No call, no text, no note left stating parcel not delivered, you just have to figure it out for yourselves. They have been absolutely the worst.

Two days in a row I've been home all day and yet I keep getting messages that they've been unable to deliver the property. Spoken over chat 3 times now and once over the phone trying to solve this and they can't do anything that helps. Won't be using companies that use Yodel in the future.

UNRELIABLE Lied about attempted delivery and leaving a call card. UNORGANIZED And then the next day when they were supposed to redilver, the tracking said it was at depot but when I called the automated service it was "out for delivery" and i was not given a time slot and was stressed out about it all day because I was also not given a calling card. And as per usual! The operators were busy! So I couldn't even do anything! 3rd day after supposed initial delivery. I have called the automated service again and apparently it's been delivered! I am fuming! Where is it?! Worst delivery company ever.

Yodel have been repeatedly unreliable for me. Late deliveries, unexplained delays, lack of updates, and ineffective customer support. Trying to speak to a human on the phone is hard to do, and if you do get through they seem to be in possession of little-to-no information that you can't get yourself on Yodel's limited online tracking page. The same goes for their webchat support. Specifically, there seems to be zero communication between their support staff and the depots, so finding out what your parcel hasn't been delivered seems impossible. In my latest latest encounter I have been waiting over a week now for a 'next day' delivery with no information on where it is or when it will be delivered. I have no way of contacting the depot or the courier for information. For your own sake, do not buy from any retailer that uses Yodel as their courier.

Simply the worst courier ever. I was expecting two parcels from different suppliers and had to stay home twice only to discover the local delivery guy every time marked them as impossible to deliver because no one was in. The fact that they never left any cards and never rang the buzzer made me call the customer service that every time seemed to not understand what was going on and just said to wait next day. No possibility to make the parcel go to a collection point nearby so in the end my partner had to ask a day off to do the long journey to their depot otherwise he had to leave the twin with these two parcels not delivered and one was a suitcase he needed for the vacation. If the Yodel customer service couldn’t understand, it took just a quick check for the customer service of the supplier that realised the delivery guy every time marked the parcel as ‘delivery tried’ a few streets away, probably when delivering another parcel. Never never use their service and avoid the suppliers who use them. I am going to start checking that every time vedo placing an order!

Last time messed me about for a week and then informed me it was missing now I have been waiting in all day as tracking said in the area and my delivery is four stops away to now be told it’s not being delivered customer services were abrupt on the chat and disconnected without resolve should be able to give negative stars avoid like the plague

I have yet to have a delivery from Yodel on time or complete. No knock, no note, drop and go. Avoid suppliers who use them where you can to avoid the honestly endless pain of a process other companies have been competent with for years.

I would give zero stars if possible. I've had an absolutely appalling time trying to get a parcel delivered by yodel. They have been completely incompetent and unhelpful and staff are full of excuses. After 3 failed attempts at getting the parcel delivered i am tempted to ask the supplier for a refund and go elsewhere! Avoid at all costs!!

This company deserve to go out of business. No customer service, untrustworthy..dont seem to care if something is missing. Use hermes or royal mail
